Can not say enough amazing things about this gem! I’m SO glad this opportunity of learning and the environment is around for my kids! The environment is super chill, and comfortable- the play area for the kids is amazing- my hyperactive kiddos greatly appreciate the safe, but fun filled obstacles! Love the private rooms for the kids to really have 1-1 time to learn and not have distractions, or even work in small groups in a more controlled environment is very helpful as well. The therapist are great at listening to our parental wants/needs/concerns and listening too, to the kids as well and working through their frustrations or concerns and helping find solutions to help them feel and be more successful! Amazing place, and amazing therapist!

We have only been working with therapists from Playabilities for about a month or so now, but it has been our best therapy experience yet! From the office staff, to the therapists, everyone here is wonderful! Our son is actually making progress on his goals— we couldn’t be happier. Luke (P.T.) has been amazing; our son gets so excited for “Luke Day”— he is so good at encouraging our son, and finding ways to make sessions engaging. Within only a couple weeks, our son is already alternating feet on the stairs, and much more confident in his body and trying out new physical skills. Mary (O.T.), has also been phenomenal! She does a fantastic job of working with parents as a team, and she has a knack for making sessions fun for kids (she is so creative and competent). You can tell all the therapists are passionate about what they do—everyone here is a true professional. The facilities (Prairie Village) are resource rich; it’s a very engaging environment for children, with lots of great toys and gym equipment. Last, the office staff deserve a special ‘shout out’. So much of special needs parenting seems to be chasing around doctors offices, paperwork, and phone calls. From billing, to scheduling, they have always made everything so easy (I cannot stress enough just how much I appreciate this!). They work around schedules and preferences, and make every effort to handle billing and insurance. This is one office I don’t need to “chase around” and constantly follow up with— that means a lot to me (and my sanity! 😂). I highly recommend you check out Playabilities!

Playabilities is the best! They got us in quickly, when other places had months long waiting list. Everyone we have come in to contact with has been so nice. My daughter is always so excited for her visits! She ask everyday if she can come play here and never wants to leave! We have seen improvements right away and we are excited to continue to see her grow.

We feel very fortunate to have found Playabilities! We have seen tremendous growth and development in our child in just a matter of months since we began sessions with Elease. The support from Elease and the staff has been above and beyond, allowing us, as parents, to learn and grow along with our child. Our child looks forward to coming to play every single week. Excellent work and professionalism from all staff. My son has been attending for almost a year and loves attending his therapies and seeing his therapists. The progress he has made is incredible.

After trying 2 other local JoCo therapy clinics for Speech and OT services, we found Playabilities and absolutely love it. Sad we didn’t find this clinic sooner. The staff and therapist are knowledgeable, friendly, and are very communicative. Each of the therapists we’ve worked with truly love kids. They work together to ensure your child is safe and continuously working on their goals. The therapist do an excellent job and constantly keep you informed on what they work on with your child. They are a great resource for information to guide your child outside of the clinic as well. What I appreciate most, is knowing how not only the individual therapist working with my child knows my child, but that they build a community for my child to learn and grow in during the sessions. I know my kiddo is in safe hands with any of the staff. Billing and scheduling are easy. I appreciate having educated, friendly, and empathic professionals on my child’s team for her development. Our doctored referred us to Playabilities for both PT and SLP. Both therapists have been so kind and patient with us. I know I have asked the same questions over and over and they still explain everything that is going on for our daughter. They also care a lot about the children they are working with. We have only been going for a short time, but we are already seeing progress.

Playabilities is AMAZING! Initially we were worried he wouldn’t adjust well to being in a new environment but just after one session he cried because he didn’t want to leave! He has so much fun and is making so much progress already. Our hearts are SO happy that we chose playabilities for our little man!

Playabilities was recommended when we were looking for PT for our son who was delayed in his gross motor skills and has low muscle tone. He was 7 months old and still not rolling both ways and not crawling at all. Within just a couple sessions with Stacey, Gabriel was army crawling and making wonderful progress. Gabriel loves working with Stacey and has fun in therapy which is so important. Stacey is so good with him and has helped him accomplish so much in such a short period of time. We have also worked with Karina in speech therapy to address feeding issues. All the therapists are very knowledgeable and caring. We've had a great experience and would definitely recommend Playabilities to any families looking for therapy services for their kiddos.

We love playabilities. The entire staff is so understanding and compassionate. My son loves going to playabilities. I don't even think he realizes he is in therapy. He's excited to go, and loves working for his PT and OT. Talk about an all inclusive place, that puts kids needs first, while also helping the parents feel welcome and give them strategies to continue to help at home without feeling overwhelmed.

Love playabilities. I was referred to them and I have 2 maybe all 3 of my kids going. They are so patient and kind to my boys. I have seen significant progress since they started going and they absolutely love going. They provide great service and techniques to the kids to help show how to handle their challenges but also help provide the parents with great information as well. Julie and Erin are awesome!

We absolutely love Playabilities and all of the staff! Our children have received services from all 3 disciplines. They’ve met so many goals and grown so much in their time here. We feel genuinely cared for by the staff, it’s like a second home for us. The staff are patient and very skilled at making all children welcome. After calling nearly every therapy provider in the Kansas City metro in search of intensive therapy options, we landed at Playabilities for my son. It has been amazing to watch his rapid growth with the increased frequency of therapy! Playabilities is a superb therapy group. They offer everything from Occupational therapy, speech therapy and physical therapy for kids. Both my kids absolutely love going to therapy to PLAY and they have learned so much! The therapists here are top notch. Very knowledgeable, patient and kind. They also do a fantastic job helping parents navigate their children's struggles and do everything they can to help our children succeed and I'm forever thankful!

My son has been with Playabilities for over a year and has improved so much, I just started my 6 year old daughter with therapy this year. Looking forward to much growth in both of them this year and many years to come. I cannot say enough good things about Playabilites Prairie Village! Our son is currently there for physical therapy and we have seen such great progress during our visits. The therapists and staff are all so nice and sweet with all the kiddos, the interior is clean and set up in a fun and inviting way for kids, and they work with each kid to find the best way to help that individual no matter what. I would never consider going anywhere else!
