This was listed as a National Parks Historic Site, but when we got there, it was basically a meeting room. A meeting was about to start, so they showed us a few brochures and an old wooden wheel in the back of the room in a crammed little space.

Have been here for monthly am 6th District meetings, Gardeners of America meetings, Iris society meetings, and they put on GREAT programs thru the Center itself. They are also an information center with Missouri resource pamphlets on vacation ideas - worth a visit !

Great tourist center, lots of information about the area and stuff to do around town.

Quite a bit of history and knowledgeable volunteer was helpful too. Lots of history to read and photos, drawings and paintings.

A lot of information about the Santa Fe, California and Oregon National Historic Trails, but very lacking compared to most similar National Park Information Centers.

Great meeting place; mostly friendly volunteers.

Close to home, parking available, large meeting room. I would go again. Contact person meet us. He was welcoming to our group. And, it was free.

The center provided helpful tourism information and has a wealth of historic materials to enhance education and research.
