I've driven by here hundreds of times and wanted to try them and today I did. The princess has the week off and I didn't feel like cooking breakfast so I picked up two biscuits breakfast sandwiches a side of cheese grits and a glazed blueberry biscuit for carry out. Everything was very impressive. The restaurant is very clean bright and full of good smells. We shared everything as usual. The food was hot and tasty I especially enjoyed the grits. The service was fast and friendly. I'll will definitely return to try the chicken as well as the biscuits and gravy.

The place was nice and well ran. Service was fast and friendly. However the food was not hot when I got it. That was the only draw back. The food was very tasty. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I would go back again! The biscuits are for sure the star of the show. They are very flaky and tasty!!

Disappointed. Two stars bc of friendly staff & Decent prices. Definitely a fast food style. Food Quality was poor. Country Sausage tasted spoiled. The gravy was bland and thin. The biscuit was good portion just very basic. The chicken was ok. Overall a true southern will be disappointed.

Had Which came First for breakfast at Rise. It was just what I needed to get through the work day. The chicken is breaded perfect and was tender...Mmmmm!! The biscuits and gravy was spot on and the egg was cooked perfect. Good spot to have breakfast and begin your day.

I am thrilled we have this restaurant in our area. I ordered it to go and walked from the pharmacy I was working at today. Everything was hot and fresh. So tasty!! I had ordered before from DoorDash and the beignets were still hot. So I was very impressed. This place is great for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Nice staff too!!

Fresh store smell and friendly staff. They get u in and out with no problems. Great tasting food as well.

I have been wanting to go this place ever since seeing it was moving in. Before school was looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast didn’t know about this place was like but online it look quick. It was order by the counter style you get a choice of ordering from a tablet or person. I just got there simple chicken biscuit with an added sweet potato spread because that sounded amazing!! It was used instead of sauce right in the biscuit. Anytime I get chicken and mash potatoes I make myself a sandwich like this but by using yams instead it gave a little sweetness to the crispy chicken. Not only will I be back again to eat in the clean inside or patio seating I know I can get something quick if I don’t have a lot of time. Love it!

Affordable and delicious biscuit meals. The cheddar tots weren’t crispy enough for me. I liked the beignets biscuits more. Clean bathrooms! You may have to clean and bus your own table, it was a little confusing.

The food is incredible! It is made fresh everyday and delicious. The assistant manager Leann made us feel welcome and was very kind. We will absolutely be back.

I always love visiting Rise! I didn't know exactly what to expect my first time there but I have loved everything I've eaten there so far. The biscuits, chicken, and donuts are what I get every time but try different variations each time I go. The staff is always friendly, the food comes out super fast, and I leave stuffed every time! This really is a little gem in Prairie Village. I cannot wait to come back!

First of all, the food was very good. But the service was just so-so. The atmosphere was pretty bad. First off, with cement floors it was quite noisy. And, with a couple kids in back thinking it was funny to shout out each others names like it was for an order, it was even more noisy. The dirty glove and broken egg on the floor behind the counter shouldn't have been there.

Found this place by accident. Friendly and fast service. The food we ordered tasted pretty good.

I finally tried Rise on 1/11 incentivized by $1 sandwich coupon to spend some calories on what I was hoping to be some delicious fried chicken. It was just fair, definitely not the cravable indulgence I was hoping for. I went at 11:15 and ordered the Southern Righteous Chicken. The chicken was not crispy and a little greasy. It was also just a click above room temperature so the Pimento Cheese spread stayed just a cold glob centered on the chicken instead of getting a little warm and oozing across the sandwich like it does on the one at Chik-Fil-A. The top biscuit was a little dry and broke in half on the first bite, I'll ask for it on a bun if I try Rise again. Very friendly staff that seemed to enjoy what they do!

My husband ordered the Bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was very dry and the food was lukewarm. He asked for butter but was told they don’t have butter. I ordered “The which comes First” box meal. The gravy was thin. The egg and chicken were both good but even with the gravy on it, the biscuit is very dry. We also got a cinnamon roll. It had a lot of cinnamon but it was hard. We took the cinnamon roll home to microwave it. It helped but was kinda dry too. My husband gave it two stars. I’d give it 3. It was ok.

Just go. It’s all good. Hot fresh. Super clean kitchen. Food is ready quickly and service is great. The chicken is fantastic as are all of the sandwiches. And they have fried okra. Don’t sleep on the coffee.

Thought I would try this place out after driving by it several times. I was very disappointed. What I ordered - Chicken Biscuit Biscuit and Gravy w Sausage Coffee Issues - The chicken on the chicken biscuit I received was undercooked. That was an unpleasant surprise to bite into when I got home. As others have pointed out, the sausage has an odd flavor to it that makes it taste old and is off putting The gravy could use some more seasoning. It is rather bland. After the experience I had, I wouldn't recommend this place. Too many issues with a single order. The only thing I could finish was the coffee.

Can be ordered to go or in store. Nice clean interior. Hardly any wait to get our order. I'd definitely recommend Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken for a quick breakfast option.

Quality customer service defines this place! The staff is very, very kind and helpful. During my visit, the staff helped multiple elderly customers to their tables and held long conversations with them. I haven't heard of or experienced that type of courtesy in years! Every aspect of this place moves quickly. But plenty of tables and bar-style seating are available if you want to enjoy your meal leisurely. Also, the food has a leg up on your average breakfast restaurant. Chicken, okra, biscuits and gravy, and donuts are not your traditional combination of breakfast foods, but it works! Honestly, you couldn't ask for much more from a southern breakfast restaurant.

I have been here many times before, and have loved it. Although, this most recent experience I had was disappointing and disrespectful. I ordered a veggie sausage biscuit sandwich with various fix ins in a box, because it can get messy, and the cashier acted like they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. It made me feel stupid, despite this being an order I have made many times before in the past. A man behind the counter was called over for help multiple times, and he was extremely rude to me. The cashier just didn't seem to know what I was talking about, which is fine, maybe they were new, but the man behind the counter was extraordinarily rude to me. I will never be returning to this establishment again. I was embarrassed and felt very hurt after this interaction, despite this being something I have ordered before in the past. My food was delicious as always, but the service was so rude and disrespectful, it ruined my morning.

Food is so so good ! Really glad there's a veggie sausage patty option. It was delicious. Tasted like meat tbh but not like pork or beef. It was good. The Chedder tots are DELICIOUS. A tiny bit salty, but overall great. Blueberry Biscuits are top tear. Very moist, flavourful and goes well with the egg and veggie sausage.

Fire!! First time here. Ordered the Southern Chicken biscuit, the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, and the Sweet Country Blue biscuit with an order of the Cheddar Tots. My favorite was the Sweet Country Blue, perfect sausage patty on a glazed blueberry biscuit. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was just as good as well, the bacon and egg cooked just right. For the Southern Chicken Biscuit, the chicken was AMAZING! I will be back for more. I just was not a fan of the pimento cheese on the sandwich itself. The cheddar tots were great, just softer inside than expected. They have the option to order a potato bun on sandwiches instead of a biscuit, lots of yummy looking pastries, and the option to build your own biscuit as well. Will definitely be back!

Juicy, crispy, fresh chicken and the best price in town. $10 for a generous helping of chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, biscuit and a bottle of cold Honest tea. I want to come back and try the fried green tomato with pimento cheese on a fresh baked biscuit sandwich! Sounds weird but looks really good. Lots of other great combinations to try. Not a good option for gluten free people.
