This is an excellent park! Plenty of shade, two medium-sized play structures (that seem appropriate for kids ~2yrs+), pretty clean bathrooms, a nice walking loop, swings, and a large sandbox with lots of toys. There is also plenty of seating on benches and picnic tables. As for parking, there is an good-sized open parking lot with nearby street parking as well.

I frequently park there while waiting for my teen to get off of work. I don't have ave any small children but the park has well- maintained equipment, a sand put with toys, a walking trail, doggie poop bags, covered picnic tables, trash cans, benches and a bathroom with flushing toilets.

Walking trail is concrete and no accommodations have been made for people with chronic pain.

The entire design of this public paradise is excellent: good playground equipment, impressive sandbox and toy selection, nice facilities, and amazing natural surroundings. Porter Park is all that is right in this Super Cool Country.

Went to the Prairie Village block party at Porter park. Lots of room to run and play. Picnic areas were roomy and clean. Bathroom was unlocked and good air flow. They had music, cotton candy, and caricature artist at the party.

Lively park with green space, baseball diamond, basketball court, playground, and clean public restrooms. There is also a nice parking lot.

Was there for a baby shower. Has nice covered table area. Very clean. Before it was torn down, I went to grade school here.

Such a nice neighborhood park. My dog loves his walks around it and they provide doggie bags.

Nice park with a variety of ballfields, playground equipment, swings and a sandbox. Plus they have added a log balance beam course. Only negative is the lack of restroom, just a single portable toilet.

We love the playground equipment. There's a nice path for walking and nice bathrooms.

What a great park! We had my sons birthday party here today and the kids couldn't get enough. Nice, clean restrooms as well.

Is "ok" Small yet suffice for a quick visit. Playground gets full sun which is great for fall and early spring.. summer not so much. Park stays fairly clean. Water fountains work, seating is limited and johnny on the spot provides the portable restroom.

Has large and small equipment, two bucket swings and two normal swings. Unfortunately they aren’t close together. It has a sand pit and good spots for shade.

One of our favorite parks. We used to live a block away and have since moved, but still make the trek to come here. Bathrooms are super clean, equipment is great and there are always toys in the sandpit for the kids to play with.
