We used dolce for our wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious, our guests RAVED about the cake! The team at dolce was professional, great to work with, on time delivery, and quickly responsive to any questions I had. 10/10 would recommend dolce for any event.

Our wedding has been over for a few days now and we are still receiving text after text asking where our cookies came from! The cookies have been described as “melt in your mouth” & “better than Grandma’s”! And not only do they make delectable cookies, Dolce was a pleasure to work with from day one. Chloe was so kind and patient while we made decisions on what to have and was an expert on helping us design the most perfect, picturesque cookies! And the execution on the designs were amazing! We highly recommend not only using Dolce Bakery for your event, but also recommend going into their shop in Prairie Village and seeing their hospitality for yourself!

We ordered our wedding desserts and cake from Dolce Bakery and they were all incredibly delicious! We live out of town and we were a bit nervous to order the desserts without having the opportunity to taste everything beforehand, but thankfully the team at Dulce worked with us and gave us such great recommendations! Everyone raved about the wedding cake! It was carrot on one level and lemon on the other… the best! I also ordered cookies with our initial, “Mr. & Mrs.”, and “love”. They were done so well and really added to our table. We had a small, intimate, family wedding and Dolce treated us like royalty. I recommend them to everyone!

This was the easiest part of wedding planning. My husband and I ordered the wedding cake tasting box and were able to sample all their flavors at home. We then scheduled an appointment to go in and iron out all the details. We chose a variety of flavors in both regular and mini cupcakes and a two tier cake for cutting and serving. My favorite was almond and my husband liked the lemon so we were able to do both flavors in our cake, one for each tier. I loved that they sent an online portal that had everything we needed and allowed us to make payments online. They were a huge hit at the wedding and I definitely recommend getting some of the mini cupcakes and wished we would have gotten more. People liked being able to try all the flavors and they were great for the kids!

We ordered our wedding cake form them years ago and it was fantastic. We visited again recently and bought a cake for my mom's birthday. We didn't order it, we chose from what was available. The cake was pretty dense and had a fairly dry crumb. I was pretty surprised at the low quality. I also bought a chocolate chip cookie on this visit which had way too much butter and was slightly bready. I'll give them another try in the future, but am in no hurry, unfortunately. Four stars because our wedding cake was that good. It'd probably be two stars based on our recent visit.

The team at Dolce always takes good care of their customers! Plus, there hasn’t been something on the menu that hasn’t made my mouth melt. Cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cake, scones, coffee, all good!

When I say I never leave reviews, I mean *never*… until today. I just enjoyed the best pumpkin cake. The. Best. Flavorful, but not too sweet, exactly the right amount of frosting, which had a perfect hint of cream cheese. This cake is a masterclass in flavor, balance, texture, and style. Cheers, Dolce!

This place is amazing! Tried it for the first time today and it’s now one of my favorite dessert spots in the OP area. The key lime tart was my favorite but the cookies and cupcakes are great too! Really unique options and reasonably priced. Also the staff was super sweet!

Dolce Bakery made a cake for our engagement shoot, simple but so elegant! We got the white cake with a raspberry icing on the inside and it is by far one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. I love going for their cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and cookies too!

We did a dessert bar for our November 2019 wedding, and everything Dolce did looked and tasted amazing. Jessica put on a great tasting and was so accommodating when one of the people we brought along was gluten free. They were flexible when our guest count increased about a month out, and everything ran smoothly. Most importantly everything was delicious. People are still telling us how good the desserts were.

Dolce made our wedding cakes...two of them (different flavors so every guest would be happy)! Not only were they gorgeous and delicious, but they were ready for pickup as scheduled, which meant a lot because we flew into KC from the country where we live (family in Overland Park, where the wedding was held) and were happy for anything that made our wedding easier! At first we wondered if we were spending too much but it was totally worth the price for such a sweet and special celebration!

Dolce was wonderful for our wedding. They gave us exactly what we wanted and were prompt and on schedule. They are a wonderful business and I recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful cake for their wedding.

We LOVED Dolce for our wedding day! Cake wasn’t our jam. We wanted a variety of bite-sized desserts for our guests (and us!) to enjoy 😊 Dolce was very helpful in selecting popular items and incorporating must-have desserts from our list. They also helped ensure we had the right quantity for our guest count. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Prior to booking, we picked up a tasting box … don’t skip that step 😉

Dolce Bakery designed our wedding cake and it was FABULOUS!!!! My husband and I started our wedding consultation with a cake tasting at the bakery and we spent a solid hour going over flavors, design and how many tiers we wanted. The Dolce team has been nothing but kind and quick to respond to all of my emails. The cake tasted absolutely amazing and the design was perfection. We did a solid buttercream around a 5- layer cake (each layer being different cake flavor and filling)- Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the cake tasted. Dolce is one of our favorite bakeries even through our dating phase, so naturally we hired them to do our desserts for our wedding. They went above and beyond to match our aesthetic and our need for multiple types of cookie sandwiches. We had them create a cookie cake that looked like a true tiered wedding cake, and it was the biggest hit of the night. Dolce is never anything short of heaven in your mouth. Could not recommend them more for your wedding cake or dessert needs!
