Ordered and drove all the way from Shawnee. Someone asked if they could help us and we said we were picking up a to go order and that person acted as if they were helping us, but they didn't. A woman walked in after us and was helped before us and half her order was missing. We finally get our order that was sitting and getting cold. We get home and find the other lady's missing items in our bag. We hot one very small salsa with two entrees. Our chips were stale as could be. So poor service, cold and stale food, mysterious items in our bag and this is on a Friday night. Need to get your s*** together before you lose more business besides ours.

One word, Delicious! The blue corn tacos are filled with yummy cheese meat of your choice sour cream (optional) fresh green onion and cilantro ! Refried beans have a great consistency and the rice is cooked perfectly. The staff typically are efficient! Nice place to go for a drink and unwind with friends or family

I had the crispy ground beef taco plate and it was very good. My Wife had their Sancho and it is great.

Once frequented when our kids were at SME 15-20 years ago My wife and I were inspired to go back to The Salty Iguana last Monday and we were not disappointed. Our enchiladas and tacos were so satisfying and the staff so friendly and accommodating I just had to tell everyone that this wonderful Prairie Village mainstay continues to hold a place in our hearts!

I love Salty Iguana. Their chips & salsa is the best, and absolutely love the iguana decor inside. I arrived to get my pick up order, and it accidentally went home with the wrong customer. I had already been waiting awhile, so I was a bit frustrated. The manager came out, and apologized- gave me a $10 gift card and a free bag of chips & salsa. I was super happy about that.

Sorry, but this was the worst service I have ever received. If I could give no stars, I would. We had a redheaded server, probably 45 years old, who did nothing except spill our waters, talk trash on other customers, and forget our drinks and mess up our orders. What should've been a simple dinner turned into 3 hours of waiting, reminding, and having to go to the manager to get our checks. The food wasn't great at all and when confronted, the server said he was "too busy" even though the restaurant had hardly any people inside and the majority being outside who were served by other people. Total garbage. I am truly a sympathetic person, but this was horrific and his carelessness was totally atrocious. Terrible.

One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Margaritas tasted like watered lemonade. Food was inedible. Our server didn’t bat an eye when we asked for the check with 2 full plates of food and didn’t ask if we wanted boxes. She Didn’t inquire why we hadn’t eaten. It’s like she knew they served tasteless garbage. We went straight next door and had a great meal at Va Bene

It was my first time coming here. We had two appetizers the iguana dip and the smokin nachos, which were both nice and fresh. We each had a pick three plate. The beef enchiladas were on point. The chicken and pork could use some more seasoning but weren't bad. The service was amazing and the restaurant was very clean.

The Salty Iguana was terrible! I will never go back there. We ordered the combo fajitas and it was the most pitiful portion I could imagine. It only had one piece of steak in it. We ordered a queso dip appetizer and it did not arrive until after our entree. For the quantity and quality we could have gone to Chipotle and had a much better Bowl! This place is so overrated!

This is the second time here and this time was horrible. $7 house marg tasted like bad trap water with a little lime in it. Asked for salt rim, no salt. Wife got the grilled chicken skillet, like fajitas without all the fixings. There was maybe an ounce of chicken. Tasted good but def not an acceptable amount of chicken for $13.50. I got an a la carte beef enchilada that was nearly all cheese. $7.50! Jesus! Do not come to this location. Not worth half the money! They only get 2 stars cause the taste of the food was good.

HOW DOES THIS RESTAURANT HAVE 4 STARS?! The food is comically bad. I'm pretty certain they put American cheese on my Sancho, which literally only had beef inside of it. That's it. No cheese or onions or anything else, just a tortilla with ground beef inside of it, topped with American cheese. I paid $13.50 for that. My kid had a bean burrito with only black beans inside of it and the fruit cup that we ordered with it was a literal fruit cup of peaches. Like the kind you get in a 6 pack at the store, it even had the plastic film still on it. My husband and I had to laugh to keep from crying about spending $50 on such a terrible meal. Literally, go to any other neighboring restaurant before you come here.

Food was delicious, the only problem I had was the chips were a little thin. But I can be a bit picky on that. The Flauta was amazing. Service was fantastic, Gracie was friendly and welcoming, she took great care of us. The art around the restaurant was clever and fun, you gotta go see it to get it.

Food was great!!! Tostada was as HUGE as my outstretched hand. The enchiladas were authentic Mexican tasting delights! Black beans and rice complemented my meal and the salsa was well made and the chips were long and crunchy. Overall great quality and quantity!!!

My family and I have been waiting for almost 20 mins n the waiter has not come to take our order. He has greeted and waited on customers that have come in after us. I don't advise people of color to come here..Got two stars due to manager.

Food was bland to the extreme! I paid almost $50 for a pitcher of margaritas that was all mix and so sour we didn't want to finish them but at over $10 a glass I wasn't letting them go to waste! Our server was friendly and very attentive.

We ate lunch and had awesome, attentive service! The food was good, and one person at our table had special dietary needs. Everyone was attentive to that and made sure that all of his specifications were met.

We love going to Salty Iguana. This is a favorite of our grandson, too. For some reason the order gets mixed up once in a while, but the food is delicious and a great place to go with kids.

Chips: hard to beat! Some of the best I’ve had. Food: inauthentic but classic American Mexican take, prices seem overpriced slightly. And atmosphere… of course always fun at Salty Iguana!

Moved closer to Salty and went there for the first time in years on Saturday. The service was outstanding, enough so that I felt the need to write a review. Ashley, our waitress, and the rest of the staff seemed to be busting their butts to make sure everyone was taken care of. The food was also great, we’ll be going back for the fajitas in the future for sure. Happy to be living closer and already looking forward to our next visit.

Came in for dinner with my family, my server Angel took great care of us, very friendly! Quick to greet us and get our drinks! Brought our food out pretty fast, and made sure our drinks were refilled. Definitely coming back and going to ask for her again, she was very attentive and gave great service. Food was delicious and fresh.

I had the worst meal last night. Spent almost $20 to throw it away. The chips were stale and had dried sauce and cheese on them. They must’ve been dumped back into the bin from being leftovers. My tostada shell was like cardboard, the whole thing was cold. Margaritas & Salty Iguana are not keeping their meat hot enough. My Iguana dip didn’t have any flavor.

This place is always loud and very busy. The food is generally good but funny enough, I find most things are too salty (??) I give it only 3 stars for chaotic environment and just typical food. Service is great though...I've always had great service there.

Not a good experience! Food came out cold, Someone gave us a basket of chips and another waitress come by and took them off the table and gave them to another table, once something is on the table IS NOT sanitary to give it to another table. Bus boy was picking up plates off the table without asking if we were done and putting his fingers in the food. He was also seen picking his nose, yuck! This place needs some schooling on cleanliness and sanitary

Used to really love this place and went there about once a week. Recently, since COVID, the prices have gone up and the service has gone downhill. But worse is that they have inconsistent hours that don’t coincide with what’s on their website, what’s posted on the door, or what it shows on Google. You can never know whether they are open, and even when you call to confirm the hours, if you get there less than an hour before closing time, they make it known that you aren’t welcome. The other places at Corinth Square are managing to stay open past 8:00 and stay busy. We won’t plan to go to Salty Iguana anymore, except maybe for lunch, given the unreliable schedule and unwelcoming treatment when you do visit.

salty iguana is an addiction for me.. i could eat it everyday. i honestly do eat it everyday. it’s amazing. it’s perfect for any occasion. the avocado burrito is 10/10. The chips and salsa are also amazing. I don’t know what’s it’s them, but it’s heavenly. Their chicken avocado tacos are my favorite food ever. I could eat 10+. Please try the chicken avocado tacos. Every part of the meal is sooooo good.

Literally terrible. I asked for 2 cheese enchiladas with beans and rice, they gave me 2 cheese enchiladas, yes but for the side I had crunchy rice and black beans. Wasn’t what I was expecting, also on the enchiladas it had “sauce” it was the black bean sauce and it just tasted like pure salt, absolutely terrible

The iguana dip is AMAZING! I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was ok, I wasn't overly impressed but it was ok for the price. The service was good, wish they had an on menu option for non Mexican food eaters.
