Ben was the host, took my order and was super friendly the entire time! Mason cooked the food and it was perfect, very friendly when he handed it off. The energy when I went in was great and both guys were really kind, which is amazing. Great job!

Pros: (1) Pretty good amount of food for price (2) Friendly employees (3) Not crowded Cons: (1) Sandwiches had a bit too much sauce on them (mayonnaise and Dijon mustard) (2) Amount of roast beef on the Beefeater was less than that on the Torpedo; Beefeater was more like “lettuce-and-mayonnaise-eater”

I go to this place time to time. Always a good sandwich and it is never busy here.

Planet Sub has unique sandwiches that are great. The Experience is my favorite.

Food was fantastic, but took a while to get. Only 2 people working when I was there. Seem way under staffed. Those who are still there deserve a raise!!!

First time I have been to a planet sub was after planet comic-con in KC. This place was absolutely delicious and didn't hurt my wallet. We got 2 subs and a soup.

I was so sad when the Planet Sub in my hometown closed down. I am so glad that I have a local sub place. I highly recommend them. Their bread is the best!

I have nothing bad to say about the staff they were awesome. They have great customer service and we’re super nice & welcoming. However, $17 for a Romain wrap is a scam. They gave me one slice of turkey and I didn’t get cheese or anything on it so I just felt like I was robbed. I’m literally still hungry. Romaine wrap should be cheaper than a sandwich not more. It’s cheaper to make & they obviously don’t put as much in it either. Not to mention half the romaine wrap didn’t have anything in it. I was just eating lettuce. If that’s how it’s supposed to be made than it should be $5-$8 & that being the inflated price.

Good food but I shouldn't have to spend my whole lunch break waiting on a sandwich.

really exceeded my expectations. got a meatball grinder and it was really grinding my meatball chakra. river got chicken parm. mmmmmmm. i could see the love made in it with my own eyes. he’s from cali (shaka) where chicken parm doesn’t exist. the lady was super enthusiastic asking if i wanted chips and a drink with a big smile. definitely recommend.

Little bit of a wait coming in around lunch rush. But still had a sandwich within 14 minutes if walking in through the door. Ordered a 12" cheese steak a few I have to say wow, huge surprise in taste for a corprate store.

I hadn't been to Planet Sub in quite some time, but I dropped by the 94th and Mission location with my brother who was in from out of town. We both attended KU in the 80s, so we go back to the original Yellow Sub days. My brother ordered a Veggie and I ordered the Mega Roast Beef. He was happy with his and I thought mine was really good. The bread was warm and had an almost-crispy texture, but probably the best part was the balance of the ingredients. Even if the name is Mega Roast Beef, I don't want a sandwich that is nothing but meat. Nor do I want a bucket of bbq sauce or an overly thick layer of cheese or a ton of salty bacon. I think it's best when you can really taste the onions and mushrooms even if it is a meat-heavy sandwich, and in that sense it was perfect. The staff was also very friendly. I'll go back soon!

We're from NW Iowa. The cashier was patient while we stood there forever trying to decide bc the options were a "good" overwhelming. Stopped for a quick healthy bite & it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere & hospitality. Highly recommend this place & we will be back again!!

Good subs, fast service. We make this part of our weekend routine. It is a flexible option with something for everyone.

Long wait is normal these days so no biggie waiting 20 minutes for a sandwich but, it was supposed to be a hot grinder. Marinara was cold and cheese was cold. This sandwich is usually excellent.
