Best cocktails in town! Come here to have an aperitivo with your friends and stay for dinner after you feel in love with the friendly staff. The usually have food for any dietary needs/preferences.

Perfect Experience. Happened on this fantastic restaurant and bar by accident. It should have been top of the list. Best food and drink we've had in a month in N. Italy. The Italian Mediterranean fusion is perfect. Chef Salvatore Amata has a perfect touch, the fresh ingredients and complex flavors are truly special. Our bartender/server was well informed, made great recommendations, was very attentive and his English was quite helpful. A lovely meal, presented well and with care. Perfect experience.

A haven amongst the rain and thunder. Sheltered from the Bologna heat from large ornate arches and verandah, I Conoscenti is almost missable. Walk inside and you're greeted with a well stocked bar, and very agreeable service. Molto bene. The price, was large. The food, amazing. You get what you pay for though. Razor sharp drinks, served within minutes. Dishes are not waited for. This is top notch service.

Visited the place for drinks. The wait was a bit long but the cocktails were delicious, served by a skilled barman. Cool environment and somewhat relaxing wibe. Prices are a bit high but adequate to the location.

This place is a gem! Absolutely incredible food, wonderful service, and lovely atmosphere. Edoardo our host was very accommodating of our needs (3 gluten free, 1 vegetarian) and we had a great time

Amazing Cocktails, very nice staff and good taste in decor! Just the prices of the dishes are a bit too high for what you get. We had a pumpkin risotto with melted goat cheese which was delicious but we had some trouble digesting it (probably a bit less cheese would have been better). Compared to other cheaper excellent restaurants in bologna the dishes have to be outstanding to justify the price.

This was a great find in Bologna; a charming, intimate restaurant with tables outside on the end of terraced walkway. The food was of high standard and nicely plated. Our waiter was smart, attentive and with great English. The menu offered sophisticated cocktails to pair with dishes as well fabulous Italian wines.

The portion was tiny and the price to high! The only good thing was the friendly stuff. So for drinks okay, but not for food, sorry.

We reserved a table for an early dinner, also asked to come with our 1 year old and they complied with our request. Cocktails were perfect!!! Balanced, tasty and original, I recommend getting a "mule" just so you can sample their amazing ginger beer at work. We ordered dinner as well - everything we had was well executed, generous and delicious - from a borata crustini starter, gaspacho and bread on the house, to their tuna tartar, their aged rib eye steak and gentle yet masterful tortellini - we really enjoyed every bite. They were extremely accommodating to our 1 year old, going so far as to set her table and give her her own glass, we later got her her own "drink" (apricot juice), which she absolutely loved. I really couldn't recommend this place more, we'll be sure to check in to the hotel next time we're in Bologna!

We couldn’t be more content and happy with both the food and the service in this restaurant. Starters, main dishes and dolce were absolutely delicious and it was not different with their own drinks they recommended us. A huge plus is the surrounding - a calm street with traditional Italian architecture. We loved it. Grazie mile and see you soon!

This was a very welcome surprise. I have been to Bologna many times and this is the first time I have gone to this restaurant despite walking past it several times. I was looking for a nice fish meal and also saw prior to going they had a nice wine list. I ate three fish courses starting with salmon tartare with aromatic fish broth which was served with a nice loaf of hot bread. The first course was risotto served with raw fish (ombrina). This presentation was superb. It started with the fish in two small rows with the rest of the base on plate and risotto spooned over top. The risotto was brought the table in a small copper pot. Last was calamari served over mashed potatoes with olives and sun dried tomatoes. With this lovely meal I drank a bottle of 2018 Chablis vieilles Vignes.

Popped in this evening at the terrace by a total coincidence... actually looking for another restaurant. But this was a big luck because when I was informed that were I was wasn't only a bar/café like I had somehow imagined but a genuine Bologna Cuisine Restaurant too I sat down and decided to try it out. Wow, what a taste ...what a pleasant surprise! I will definitely be back there to discover more from the menu. Highly recommended on that quiet corner... but still the heart of old Bologna.
