I cannot say enough positive things about this apartment! The leasing team is incredible! Everyone has been so kind and helpful. The apartment itself is updated and very nice. When moving, we had an emergency situation, and they got us moved in the next day. The team really care about the residents of Highland Lakes. When doing the walkthrough, the leasing agent noticed a few issues and had them fixed right away, and having lived in a few different places, that is very unusual! I would recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and urgency!

The team here actually really cares about their residents and their homes which is hard to find these days. It's perfectly located, the complex is clean, and everyone is friendly. Can't say enough good things! One year update: Still good. The management changed AGAIN like a month later but the new people are still good! Maintenance kinda sucks and does what they want when they want. Had our ac go out on a 90 degree day last year on a Saturday and waited hours. Had to call again and mention it's on our lease as an emergency situation to get help. Then they left the portable ac units in our apartment for over a week after they finally fixed it. It broke again a month later and that also took them days to fix. We had the portable ac units for 6 months after that time because it got colder, eventually they called and asked if we still had them as if they didn't leave them here themselves. We just try not to call them at this point and then it's great!

The Leasing agents and Maintenance Technicians are the absolute best! Anytime I have had an issue I have called and they have attended to the matter right away. The two girls in the office are the sweetest most attentive little souls you ever wanted to meet! Apartments are very nice , great for families! I would recommend anyone looking for a nice clean friendly community to make this your first stop and I’m sure it will be your only stop.

This is definitely the ABSOLUTE WORST place anyone could live in the entire state of Alabama. You are obligated to pay for trash services and that trash gets picked up every 4 days, the rent is way to high, the maintenance staff is terrible, and the workers in the office don’t care about you at all. Save your money and avoid this place completely until it has new management. Honestly I have no idea how this apartment complex is even still up. Roaches, cats everywhere, the toilet doesn’t cycle enough water to flush, and the water here is dirty aswell. AC and Heater barely works 0.1/10.

I cannot say enough positive things about this apartment and the staff here at Highland Lakes. From the management team lead by Alison who is doing a phenomenal job to the maintenance team. This is home and so glad I made the decision to lease here.

I love Allison and the team, they are so easy to work with. Beautiful apartments. Can it say enough about how much we have enjoyed our time here!

I came out here to visit my boyfriend and I am in complete disbelief at how terrible of an apartment complex this is, completely terrible. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND AVOID THIS PLACE! Also if you want to live in a gated community don’t come here because my boyfriend said that the gate has been broken for over 6 months now… what a joke! Also they have roaches and the staff here is God awful. Maybe if you fire the ENTIRE STAFF this could possibly be a good community.

The experience couldn’t have been any better, the maintenance team was very helpful with issues. McKenzie in the office was such a delight to deal with. I will recommend anyone moving to prattville to give them a visit.
