I had hosted an engagement function at this hotel. The property is very decent but the staff behaviour is extremely rude. They behave rudely with guest, my cake was spoiled by them, the waiters were arguing with the guests in the hall in the middle of the event. I called the senior manager multiple times but there was No response. The manager present there just kept standing and doing nothing while their staff misbehaved in front of him. Worst experience!!

I was visiting a family wedding and this was the closest (probably the only one) in that locality. We first visited their bar - Drunken Dudes on the 4th floor. I was surprised to see a full fledged metal detector right inside the bar. Kindly note that there are no metal detectors even at their entrance. Anyway, very small bar, dimly lit. Most of the alcohol mentioned on the menu wasn't available. For 5 beers and one Pepper chicken, we paid Rs 2800. This is definitely over priced place. Later that same night I checked into their rooms. Below average room with very basic amenities. I paid over 5k per night. Clearly not the price one expects in a place like Allahabad/Prayagraj. Their exhaust needs serious attention. Apparently someone in the adjoining room must be smoking and my room was full of smell. It kept happening all through my stay of 2 days. Getting a conveyance here is a big headache. It took me close to 2 hours to book an Ola after 5 Uber rejections and 2 Ola rejections. I admire their service though. It was courteous for sure. I am not sure what your emergency is, but try to avoid this place. It is not worth the price.

The hotel looks good from the outside but on closer inspection it is not great. The service in the restaurant is quite poor and not professional. Waiting around with hands in pockets. Items not available on the menu. They leave you wondering what is going on. Then the food is not what it should be. B. B Q chicken ? Is that a spicy meal ? No it should not be. Vegetables that are not cooked properly. Two balls of ice cream ? Or just two small pieces ?....would not advise to book here.

This is the worst hotel in the entire Prayagraj. The food is expensive and to top it off the service staff is also VERY VERY RUDE they don't even know how to treat a customer. Best place for small party and private programs but local marriage party may select other because of space.. And I really suggest if your family belongs to high profile or upper class families then you have to go once… Waiters are really very humble and literate. They treated like a hotel or restaurant customer. Parking space is not good but they managed all bikes very properly. Security guards are very active and helpful. I didn’t get reception area for get some information and all things which is not in my photograph. I think they provided Plate system, music decoration things and waiter staff. With the banquet Two or Three rooms they provide for bridal side and groom side. Thank you so much 😊

Booked this place for a birthday party of my daughter. The hotel location and interiors are good and they have a nice banquet hall as well. But they offered us their restaurant for the party. What really disappointed me is the fact that they didn't allow the birthday decoration. Also, there was no music arrangement either. The buffet spread was just fine, but the refilling of the food items took ages. Their staff looked completely confused as if they never managed any party. They needed constant reminder to refill the food items. All in all it wasn't the most memorable experience.

This hotel is the extended portion of a marriage hall. It has 8 rooms a floor with 4 of them adjacent to dining and service area. Rooms 201, 202 have just a simple glass for wall and waiters and service guys are constantly working on the other side till 1:30am and restart at 4:30am. The management does not change room when pointed out and an alternate room given if you are staying for another day. Every floor has a restaurant and similar must be the case in the other floor. The property has just a single 4/5 person lift and it is not available when the group is checking out. Avoid 201/202 if you must stay in the hotel.

Hotel placid is an awesome place to be at. The food is good. Ambience is great and the staff is wonderful. And the best part is that its not too heavy on pocket for small parties and get togethers. Their hall is good enough to organise a beautiful birthday party or any other such party with gathering of around 50 people. Hence, i give this place five starts🤘🏻 And it is located in Tagore town that makes it easily reachable from most parts of the city. Be it Civil lines, or Naini, guests can easily commute to this place. Parking is easy. No rush ever there. Staff is very nice and friendly!!

Nice rooms as per the price with all the amenities and placed at a very convenient location... We opted for room with breakfast and the breakfast was very good 👍 only issue which I faced was with the mattress its toooooo springy may be intended to be more comfortable but was the opposite for me...

Bathroom has no air ventilation so staying in room is not advisable. Quality of breakfast is also not good. They are serving rotten fruits. Rent is too high in respect of facilities provided by them

I knew it as a marriage Hall. But surprised that it has a hotel also. The experience would have been more pleasant, had there been separate lifts for marriage party and guests. We had to wait for a long time to come down from 3rd floor.

Utter rubbish restaurant services, very late in serving, they dont listen to what the customer says, they dont know the differnce between starter and main course both are served together after a waiting period of 45min-1hr, food doesnt taste good even, highly unrecommended

There is a separate veg restaurant on the 3rd floor. Food is good in general, rooms are equipped with all the amenities.

Very pleasant atmosphere and comfortable rooms. Only problems we faced were :- technical faults in lift which scared us, improper functioning of hot & cold water mixers in toilet and wash basin & not enough active channels in TV inspite of such a high tarrif. Needs improvement on these points to increase customer satisfaction.

Work environment is good. The Colleagues of the company are well disciplined, they both have knowledge and experience. There is no work load. I think this company is best for freshers who is still in learning stage they can gain more confidence and knowledge.

I came with group of 8 person holding 4 rooms with double sharing... service boy Mr. Suraj is supportive but reception manager behavior was poor ... My guest stuff was stolen by hotel staff.. that was horrible for company.. Avoid this hotel for booking... Even they didn't any coffe or tea to driver & tour manager...

The restaurant is over rated. Very unprofessional behaviour. The washroom is sticking, no proper hygiene maintained. Poor parking arrangement. The waiter are not trained. Hope Prayagraj gets good hotels and restaurants at better prices. Very disappointed.

Infrastructure of Hotel is highly attractive. But the main problem is quality of food. Not even a single item they served is properly cooked. I have attended a meeting on 22nd May, 2022. Chowmien, Manchurian, Crispy Baby Corn, Spring roll, Manchow Paneer, Naan and Chole. All of them are cooked really worst👎.

I got upgrade due to non availability of rooms. Breakfast having limited options but taste was good. Surrounding was nise and clean. Only problem is sometimes you heard heavy music noise from their resturant. Overall good experience

WORST hotel stay experience, any of the rooms Hotel could not fix bathroom hot water issue for 3 days, very weak wifi signal in the rooms, top issue was extremely loud sound of EXHAUST fan on the 5th floor kitchen sounded like helicopter hell for night time sleep, because of that. exhaust room window glass also shaking. No improvements after rigorous complaints. I am Traveling for 35 years one of the worst stay.

Hotel Placid one of the heart beat of the Prayagraj, location is great, personally its one of the best hotel and restorent with Bar facility also. Me and my friends were there for a birthday party and we have order tandori stuffed mushroom and soup for starter and for lunch We have mushroom order mushroom tikka masala and The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. The hotel interiors are very decent and rooms are spacious. I booked this place for my marriage and that is when the miracle happened. The food served got most of our guests sick and admitted to hospital. Since they pushed me to pay the full amount in cash before marriage and agreed to it. The hotel management took advantage of no consolidated evidence of booking and served a pretty low quality food. This became really unfortunate as my father also became weak due to sickness, never recovered and eventually passed away recently. I am a Manager in one of the top MNC and I am putting this post for a middle class family who know the importance of money, food and the worth of a life. Please think 10 times before booking this place.
