Hanuman Mandir at Civil Lines Prayagraj is pleasing temple and you can come here to sit and pray to Hanuman ji. You will feel very pleasing, clam and happy from inside visiting here. There are almost all gods like Ganesh ji, Laxmi ji, Vishnu ji, Parvati ji, Shankar Ji, Shivalinga, etc. You can also buy prasaad from here the options are motichor laddu, peda with less sugar, peda with normal/more sugar, klakand, barfi, milk cake, coconut barfi, etc. I bought peda with less sugar of price 340 rupee/kg.

Mainly dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple has many smaller shrines and idols of various other deities like Lord Shiva, Lord Rama, Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Durga etc. Sant Ramlochan Brahmachari laid its foundation in 1958 and installed the idol of Lord Hanuman. in 1973. He single-handedly erected the entire structure by collecting donations from the residents of Prayagraj. He used to walk either on foot or by bicycle. Shri Hanumat Niketan Temple, spread over three and a half acres of land, is a vast and integrated complex of temples, gymnasium, yogaalaya, library, reading room, Veda Bhavan, guest house and a museum of arms. The construction of the entire complex was completed by 1974. Thus, the present form of this beautiful and grand temple complex can easily be called a one-man show.

I visited this temple today along with my cousin who lives in Prayagraj. I was here in Prayagraj for a week and it was tuesday. This was the perfect place to pray. It was surreal to see so many devotee visiting the temple on the auspicious day. Prasad counters are located outside the entrance of main temple. Parking facility is also available. Whenever I am in Prayagraj, I ensure I visit this place. Jai Shree Ram 🙏🏻

Nice place for worship in Prayagraj. It is located in Civil Lines, the heart of the city. The main deity of this temple is Lord Hanuman. There are idols of Maa Jagdamba, Ram Durbar, Shiv Parivar, Maa Saraswati and Radha-Krishna also. It used to be very clean and well-managed temples earlier. It had a well managed library and yoga hall which are not very active now. But off-late, its management has worsened. It is neither as clean as yester-years nor is it as maintained as being maintained earlier. Plasters are falling off from many locations. Earlier there was only one sweet shop inside the campus. But now there are many. Overall a must visit place in Prayagraj.

All time beautiful and peaceful place for family. Good sweet shops. For kids baloons and small toys are available specially on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Best time to visit is between 8 am - 11:30 am then 5 pm - 9:30 pm. Nearby lot of food corners. Main Civil Lines circle is just 500 metres. Overall a great place with ample parking space. Really a peaceful & Astha filled temple. Gives strength & courage. Stayed for a while. No issue of Panda.came out with better state of mind. Only issue of keeping your shoes at the stand Though it is free but some charges are taken. anyhow poor guy so no issue.

You can visit this temple while you are in Prayagraj. Beautiful and huge Hanuman temple. There is a shiva temple also there. You can get prasad inside temple only and do buy it because it’s very tasty. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, temple is very crowded. PRO: there is space for car parking.

Really nice temple with a spacious compound and a hall in which you cab sit , pray and meditate. Plenty of walking areas and trees in vicinity and temple is easily accessible since it is right next to main road.
