The
handling
is
reminiscent
of
an
airport.
I
came
to
the
medical
center
with
gastrointestinal
complaints.
I
was
subjected
to
a
series
of
tests
which,
as
confirmed
by
my
current
doctor
(in
another
practice
in
Harvestehude),
did
NOT
match
the
symptoms
(gastrointestinal
discomfort)
at
all.
The
drug
tested
triglycerides,
fructose
and
glucose,
arranged
an
ultrasound
and
even
an
MRI.
The
intolerances
were
nonsense,
which
I
told
the
doctor
several
times.
Nevertheless,
I
let
myself
be
tempted
to
circumvent
the
tests,
which
lasted
several
hours.
The
ultrasound
was
then
carried
out
on
a
colleague.
The
doctor
in
question
immediately
sent
me
to
the
radiologist
for
an
MRI
because
of
anomalies.
The
radiologist
at
the
Medicinikum
himself
was
a
little
irritated
by
the
referral,
as
it
was
just
a
matter
of
normal
cysts
in
the
liver
(congenital)
that
did
not
require
an
examination
and
which
should
have
been
recognized
as
such
on
the
U
sound.
I
am
a
private
patient
and
was
therefore
probably
put
through
a
series
of
tests
and
measures
that,
according
to
my
current
doctor,
made
no
sense
in
any
way.
The
attending
physician
at
the
Medicinikum
did
not
report
to
an
evaluation
of
the
results,
so
I
simply
evaluated
the
results
of
the
tests
there
myself
and
then
went
to
another
doctor.
He
carried
out
a
single
measure
(gastroscopy).
Then
all
complaints
were
gone.
Since
then
I've
been
symptom-free
for
months.
Unnecessary,
expensive
examinations,
unfriendly
doctors
and
the
uncoordinated
approach
reminded
me
a
little
of
an
airport
operation.
Everything
was
done,
I
was
sent
from
counter
to
counter,
but
the
whole
picture
was
not
looked
at.
There
was
therefore
no
finding
either.
A
neighbor
had
exactly
the
same
experience
in
the
Medicinikum.
Nobody
seems
to
take
10
minutes
to
really
analyze
the
problem.
Instead,
a
patient
undergoes
a
number
of
tests
that
don't
even
match
the
symptoms.

Die
Abfertigung
erinnert
an
einen
Flughafen.
Ich
kam
mit
gastrointestinalen
Beschwerden
ins
Medizinicum.
Ich
wurde
einer
Reihe
von
Tests
unterzogen,
die,
wie
mir
mein
aktueller
Arzt
(in
einer
anderen
Praxis
in
Harvestehude)
bestätigte,
überhaupt
NICHT
zu
den
Symptomen
(gastrointestinale
Beschwerden)
passten.
Das
Medicinikum
hat
Triglyceride,
Fructose
und
Glucose
getestet,
einen
Ultraschall
veranlasst
und
sogar
eine
MRT.
Die
Unverträglichkeiten
waren
Schwachsinn,
was
ich
der
Ärztin
auch
mehrfach
mitteilte.
Dennoch
ließ
ich
mich
breitschlagen,
die
mehrstündigen
Tests
zu
unterlaufen.
Bei
einer
Kollegin
wurde
dann
der
Ultraschall
durchgeführt.
Die
entsprechende
Ärztin
schickte
mich
aufgrund
von
Anomalien
dann
sofort
zum
Radiologen
für
eine
MRT.
Der
Radiologe
im
Medicinikum
selbst
war
etwas
irritiert
von
der
Überweisung,
da
es
sich
lediglich
um
ganz
normale
Zysten
in
der
Leber
handelte
(angeboren),
die
keiner
Untersuchung
bedürfen
und
die
auf
dem
U-Schall
auch
hätten
als
solche
erkannt
werden
müssen.
Ich
bin
Privatpatient
und
wurde
deshalb
wohl
durch
eine
Reihe
von
Tests
und
Maßnahmen
geschleust,
die
laut
meinem
jetzigen
Arzt
in
keiner
Weise
Sinn
machten.
Die
behandelnde
Ärztin
im
Medicinikum
meldete
sich
auch
nicht
zu
einer
Auswertung
der
Ergebnisse,
sodass
ich
die
Ergebnisse
der
Tests
dort
einfach
selbst
auswertete
und
damit
dann
zu
einem
anderen
Arzt
ging.
Dieser
führte
eine
einzige
Maßnahme
(Gastroskopie)
durch.
Anschließend
waren
alle
Beschwerden
weg.
Seitdem
bin
ich
nun
seit
Monaten
beschwerdefrei.
Unnötige,
teure
Untersuchungen,
unfreundliche
Ärztinnen
und
der
unkoordinierte
Ansatz
erinnerten
mich
ein
wenig
an
einen
Flughafenbetrieb.
Es
wurde
alles
mögliche
gemacht,
ich
wurde
von
Schalter
zu
Schalter
geschickt,
aber
das
Gesamtbild
wurde
nicht
betrachtet.
Einen
Befund
gab
es
daher
auch
nicht.
Eine
Nachbarin
hatte
im
Medicinikum
exakt
dieselbe
Erfahrung
gemacht.
Niemand
scheint
sich
einmal
10
Minuten
Zeit
zu
nehmen,
um
das
Problem
wirklich
zu
analysieren.
Stattdessen
wird
ein
Patient
nur
etlichen
Untersuchungen
unterzogen,
die
nicht
einmal
zu
den
Symptomen
passen.
