    As a coffee lover Godshot Coffee Lab was a very interesting experience. Kai, the owner, is very passionate about coffee and everything around it. In the complete course you will learn how coffee is grown, roasted, grinded, brewed and basics of latte art. On a side note: you can drink everything you brew and believe me you will brew a lot of good coffee. ☕

    The “Barista Course Complete” was great! I really enjoyed it and learned a lot of interesting things about espresso. Great! I can highly recommend this course and also Nicky (Dominique) and would like to thank you again for the great day! I can now set the right grind, conjure up delicious espresso from the machine and, by the way, paint a beautiful heart in the cappuccino ;-) THANK YOU!!!

    Great course and experience. 100% recommended. Very detailed explanation. Small class. And very patient trainer (Nicki) who gives valuable advice and insights. Variety of equipment and all “material” is included. Will come back for another course.

    Great workshop (3 hours compact), informative and entertaining! Kai is super passionate about everything coffee related and could answer all of our questions (there were many). We talked about everything from the micro-ingredients of the beans, the physics and engineering of the machines and the socio-economic aspects of the coffee market. And of course lots of practical espresso and cappuccino making

    The filter coffee course was very interesting. I didn't know a French Press or Aero Press could taste good?! I'm definitely motivated to try out new types of filter coffee. 🥰 The course is great for beginners and advanced learners. Kai is super nice and you can ask him any question. It was a great evening.     Absolute recommendation! My buddy and I attended the entire barista course and were lucky enough to be just the two of us that Saturday. The course leader Kai is absolutely likeable. His many years of experience and his passion in this area are reflected in the course. I had a lot of questions beforehand and they were all answered in the course. We came out of the course with the motto: “You don’t know exactly what you don’t know.” You can learn and take away a lot from Kai in the course, even if you think you already know enough. The course was great fun and is an absolute recommendation. I will definitely take more courses in the future.

    Ich habe den Anfänger Barista Kurs bei Nicky belegt und kann ihn definitiv weiterempfehlen! Zwei Wochen später Kontakt mit Kai bzgl. Anschaffung einer ECM Maschine. Bin jetzt glücklicher Besitzer einer ECM Mechanika und über glücklich! Endlich kann ich mir spitzen Kaffee selbst machen. Kai hat ein wahnsinniges Know How (Nicky ebenso) und man merkt einfach, dass er für seinen Job "brennt". Danke Kai & Nicky! Update: 02.07.2022: Wann weiß man, ob man beim richtigen Fachhändler gekauft hat? Richtig, wenn man ein Problem hat. Ich hatte eins. Auf einmal war auf der Dampflanze kein Druck mehr. Was tun? Richtig, Kai anrufen. Maschine in Laden gebracht. 3 Tage später der Anruf: "Hol ab, läuft wieder das Teil." Und was war das Problem? Dampfhahn zu fest zugedreht und die Dichtung "zerlegt". Will Kai die Kohlen sehen, weil ich das Problem verursacht habe? Nein. "Nimm mit das Teil." Besseren Service kann man sich nicht wünschen! Danke Kai!     The Barista course at Godshot was a truly enlightening experience! We learned that a good double espresso consists of 18g of coffee and should produce around 50ml of “liquid” in 25 seconds. Although it sounds simple, the implementation is anything but, and this is exactly where the course started. In addition to the basics of the perfect espresso, we also worked intensively on milk frothing and latte art. Particular attention was paid to the 'hissing' sound when frothing milk, an indicator that you are on the right track. The course was not only extremely educational, but also very entertaining. Now it’s time for us to practice, practice, practice. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to take their barista skills to a new level. Super educational and lots of fun!

    A great experience. I recommend the barista course in its entirety to anyone interested! I'm already thinking about whether I should take another course on my next trip to Berlin... Kai is extremely likeable and conveys the material well. I learned a lot about adjusting the espresso. I think the first pitfalls for a beginner have been eliminated :) I can't confirm the other criticism that you don't get enough exercise when practicing latte art.     The “Latte Art” course was initially good, but towards the end we had the feeling that the time was not being used optimally. Out of six people, only one person could operate the coffee machine, so the other participants spent a lot of time waiting. The atmosphere was very school-like and not as relaxed as we imagined.
