Beautiful stop on your way to Kingwood or Bruceton Mills. There aren’t really any big signs marking the area, so you will have to keep j eye out for a blue sign in a pull off area. The hike down is short and the water is always beautiful. The furnace is also cool to check out and right in front of the water. Almost every time we’ve stopped, there has been no one else around.

This area is located off the Bruceton Mills exit off Interstate 68 (Exit 23). Steep hill to walk down. No playground, restroom, or picnic area. Just pretty views and caming atmosphere. Paths are available to get down to it, but they are not fully cleared of plant life. I recommend tennis shoes or hiking boots. A few unmarked places to park. Just a gravel pull-off area from the main road.

Great waterfall right off the small pull-off. Was beautiful to see the cascades and the furnace was neat too.

We discovered this spot while passing down 26 heading to the Allegheny Trail, noticing it on the side of the road, and pulling over quickly. Really love this little stretch of creek, and would come here again. A rocky stretch of narrow creek, and a falls or two you can explore. The children will love it. The furnace is a nice historical site as well, and I enjoyed the view from the inside. This is not far above where the creek enters the Cheat River, where you have miles of hiking.

It's a hidden waterfall. There is no big sign, we almost missed it. It's a good place to spend a quiet afternoon, but apart from enjoying the waterfall, not much to do. I wish there was a trail system so there was more to explore.

Pretty little roadside area. I spent 10 minutes there and only found 1 tick on myself afterwards. Yay!

What a fun experience all roadside. Slight hill with a tripping hazard path but completely navagatable. The Virginia iron furnace was fascinating and the falls are gorgeous.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ My family loves coming here to see the animals and the local activities they host! We've been lucky enough to do their baby goat yoga twice now, always a highlight of the season! Highly recommend to check this gem of the community out!
