Car park used to be simple, drive in get a token and pay on way out for the time you have used. Now they have removed the tokens and now you have to pay at a machine and decide how much time you'll need before you go shopping. Problem with that is there are only 2 pay machines and the queues are ridiculous, well done the the brain box who decided to change the system that worked

With a diverse range of stores, easy navigation, and vibrant atmosphere, it's a must-visit for all shoppers. Despite a few minor drawbacks, it's a top-notch retail destination. Don't miss out!

Fishergate Shopping Center is a good place to shop and buy gifts, there is an excellent variety of shops and place to eat and have a cuppa/coffee. The toilet services are good but my only problem is the parking lot, in my opinion there needs to be more spaces.

It's OK, few good shops in there but rather just travel to Trafford center, it's not all that big but if your local and need some stuff or just want some dinner or coffee then it's OK.

Covenient car park for the town centre and train station. Reads your number plate and has an option to pay by phone app and after exit within a few hours (24 I think). Cheaper than the station car park for a days parking. Open space with relatively good size bays.

Fantastic place, shop till you drop, lots of shops and plenty more in the precincts. So much to choose from, everywhere is very clean. A pleasure to visit.

I've been going here off and on for thirty years. It's still OK, been a lot of changes naturally. I do like that there's a Rolex outlet opposite the main entrance. I'll have to save up.

Some good shops like TK Maxx and McDonalds but there is no public lift access between the upper and lower mall floors. Staff will let customers use the service lift if required but I have seen a lot of people with prams carrying them on the escalators. I think there will be an accident here sooner or later

Love Preston, shopped here for 50+ years, it's wonderful to be able to look around again and visit in person, let's save the shops, hopefully the few units that are vacant will be opening soon for even more exciting retail shopping, still miss Debenhams though.

It's alright! Nothing bad but also nothing very special about it! TK max , TJ Hughes and a few other shops! I like Mokka on the first floor... It's nice and clean , all good for the locals.

This shopping centre was once anchored by Debenhams (still not replaced) and Argos (now a Job Centre Plus). There is still a lot of footfall as it provides access to the car park through TK Maxx (a fairly decent store). There is a small Primark on the corner of this centre, with a laughably small homeware section and a men’s section that has shrunk over the years.

Over all nice shopping centre. There is place to dine, Caffe and variety of shops. Just very difficult when you travel with kids and pram. Lift which used to be in Debenhams is not available and stairs most time are not working so when you park at bottom car park you can get only to Tk Maxx and then throu street outside to get to main Fishergate entrance.

Big car park and being close to railway station, but having many shops have been closed or moved. Not really buzzing like it used to be. OnlyTK Maxx, TJ Huges and primary are know shops.

Pity that there is no longer a hairdressers in the centre, and the closure of Debenham leaves a 'big hole' in both the occupancy of the centre and the variety of stuff you can buy. Very much a discount shopping centre and a husk if its former self. However, it's clean and you can get some bargins at TJ Hughes, Poundland, and TK Max. Pity none if the hand dryers were working in the gents, and a lavatory out of action is never good.

The usual minus Debenhams boo hoo It's all these platic millionairs buying everything cheap off the Internet and closing all the local shops. Not realising its a plague which is going to get worse, with no re-investment going back into the economy because the money is all going abroad to places like the USA China and India. Soon we'll be getting ripped off even more as all shops gone, nothing to look at in the flesh, touch, feel quality of cloth etc. It'll be like lucky bag.

Another covered town shopping centre dying on its feet. It's clean, not overrun by feral gangs, but there's so many empty units, it's a scene repeated across the UK since Debenhams ceased trading as they tended to be the main store in these places.

Great for the shops that are there, however they need to fill the debenhams centre up to draw more shoppers into the centre. As preston is a city not a lot of shops to bring people onto preston. The restaurant out way the shops.

Really good place to find that outfit, at a reasonable cost. Don't expect exceptional quality the price reflects the cheap and cheerful.

So many shops in thus mini centre. Very well presented, it was clean and easy to navigate. There weren’t that many exits or toilets but there was a nice mix of shops that weren't bearded up and closed down like many otger shopping centres. I didn't see that many shopping centre staff members around. The shop keepers were nice and friendly.

Had a great time had lunch in the small restaurant on the balcony we all enjoyed it and my visitors from spain were impressed that the staff could speak their native tongue

They say Preston is supposed to be dog friendly you cannot take your dog into any of the shopping centres in Preston It's very disappointing.

Plenty of space to park. Easy to find. Plenty of shops to go to. Easy access depending on the entrance.

Large shopping centre with many outlets including M&S and Matalan. Toilets are here but up on the carpark level. Many eateries to choose from. Lifts and escalators help you move from floor to floor. There are 2 main entries/exits plus a couple of cut through the shops at Matalan and M & S to speak of. Parking is also here and ok as you can shop directly from here and not have to walk too far.

I visited Starbucks my fave coffee shop. The only bugbear at the moment at the Fishergate Centre is because Debenhams closed down the main lifts are out of action. I use lifts because I'm visually impaired and have a guide dog. I don't know how wheelchair users manage if they want to access other floors. I'd like to know if they'll be getting the lifts back on again.

Well worth exploring. Easy access and plenty of parking. Lots of shops to look around. Love the Tk Maxx and Primark.

Big car park, unfortunately it's not a free one but not too expensive. The centre is clean. Decent range of shops

Visited here on route to my universal credit meeting. Wheelchair accessible but all the lifts were out of action. To access the U.C office I had to wheel myself through the carpark entrance, ok on the way there but a long up hill slog on the way back to the busstop.

Here we have another shopping center well laid out with good access at all levels. The only thing missing is the the lack of people. Like all centres struggling to survive the heavy cost off over prices. But for me a enjoyable experience

Not a very bad place to be, plenty of shops on offer, has a Costa fortune on the ground floor in the centre of the building! 3 different entrances with parking included in the multi story car park above the complex. Security on site

Still a good place to shop. Clean, tidy, someone needs to set up shop in the old Debenhams. The owners of this building should lower there rent expectations. Some rent is better than none at all.

Shopping here is good. However, the toilet attendants / cleaners certainly need a lesson in courtesy and respect. Banging on a disabled door shouting for the occupant to hurry up! Quite disgraceful...!

Very modern, cool and airy to shop, not many retail shops but there are at least three places to eat and drink. The one in the centre over looking the lower floor is particularly nice with a good menu choice albeit the service a bit slow if you're in a rush. Seats very comfortable though, part dining and part coffee style. Staff very responsive and you feel welcome. Cleaned regularly. The others are a well known coffee shop and fast food restaurant, both very popular in this location, adjacent to the railway station.

Has a reasonable range of shops, seemed clean and tidy. If the shop brand you want is there, you'll probably get a standard shopping experience.

Clean, tidy small shopping centre. Good washrooms. Not so many of the big name shops anymore.

Love Monthia now at the top of the escalators near the old Debenhams entrance. My favorite shop Monta is lovely and friendly always has a wide selection of quality clothes etc. Always happy to help.

The biggest problem we had was the fact the lift wasn't in order. Being a wheelchair user & visiting fir the 1st time I didn't know what to expect but having to go into one door round a corner & in another door to find the shop you were looking for as the lift was out of order was a bit of a pain. It was manageable just not what we were expecting.

Not really much in here, it's a walk through to the train station mainly with some shops that are their last legs, the most useful store is the one that sells water.

  • 3/5 Rich W. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and tidy throughout including the toilets. The center itself is very dated with a few closed units, unfortunately a reflection of the current High Street decline country wide.

  • 2/5 Gillian D. 1 year ago on Google
No bloody lifts for god knows how long. Its a joke people with prams. Disabled people like me. People have wrote to you. But to no avail. Its an absolute disgrace. You try escalators with wheel chairs, prams ect. Any way if nothing is done very soon we are contacting LEP.

Not in bad little shopping centre all things considered. They had kindly put out a throne for my visit which I thought was a nice touch of class other shopping centres could learn from. Yes, I am talking to you Houndshill.

A shell of its former self since Debenhams closed but still a nice enough space with some decent shop and food/drink options
