Really nice pub. Gorgeous location by the river and railway line. Not too far from the station. Lots of rooms, and plenty of events on, concerts etc.

Top draw very popular pub. 9 real ales and good selection of keg,craft,cider and bottles. Food is excellent. Highly Recommended

What can I say the 5 stars speak for itself. Great food, quick service, staff were friendly and helpful. Really great place to rest and get some refreshment after you done the walk in the park. Fantastic atmosphere in the garden, family and dog friendly. Best of all beer list are very good with some great name in taps and bottle. Definitely recommend it and will be back soon. We visited The Continental on a Friday night to see a tribute band. We arrived alittle early and although busy managed to get around in the manual chair without too much difficulty. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The show itself was in the rear of the building and was standing only on this occasion. The band was really good and everyone had a great time.The accessible toilet was easy to get to and move around in.

Great night out meeting with family for a few drinks then to enjoy the Feelgood Factor Classic Soul Xmas Party. Always a friendly atmosphere at the Continental; good, cheerful service and have always enjoyed good food there too. It amazes me the variety of events they also manage to host over the year-film,music, theatre- very impressive!

Went in for a bday drink with 12 freinds. Seating no problem as lots of space inside an outside. Lots of drinks avaible. Menus got differnt choices. Speacils also avaible.

A great place, quite beautiful and in an amazing location....we recently attended the concert venue to see Henge and had one of the best nights ever!!

I can't rate this place highly enough, it's definitely Preston's hidden gem. Good atmosphere, great music and the food is outstanding

The New Continental is in my opinion definitely nr 1 pub in Preston. They're always very welcoming and it's cosy atmosphere with good vibes. Place is quite spacious inside, outside it's massive garden and although car parking is limited but You can still find space in surrounding area to park Your car. They're dog friendly so is always fun to watch pupils running around. Carrying on with this reviews I can't mention good selections of beers from local breweries and spirits. Also food it's really tasty and You can't go wrong with pub classics like bangers and mash. Main thing of this pub also it's friendliness of the staff - they're always happy to let U sample new lagers or advise with the food menu choice. Another and the last thing to mention is their events which always brings good memories for example Cuban night. I can recommend this place to anyone anytime :)

I didn't eat or drink here but the service person who served me a glass of water was very polite and helpful. The open area at the back of the pub appeared to be clean and well maintained on my visit. Together with well-behaved clientele, the general atmosphere was calm and relaxed. I was there for a music event featuring a Cuban band, based in the Northwest. While the flooring isn't really to a dancefloor standard, it's level and undamaged, making it adequate. Similarly, considering how warm it was, ventilation was adequate as were the acoustics. There seem to be plenty of other musical events on at the venue, throughout the year and I'd be happy to return for one at future date.

Serene and warm atmosphere. Great selection of beers and a couple of crafts. Great for kids as they have an outside area. Also a perfect spot to recharge batteries from cycling around the Guild Weel.

Never fails to impress, today we had their Sunday roast beef dinner, craft beer to enjoy too. The New Continental is our favourite make to place, not your usual pub menu ... excellent 👌

This is the best restaurant in Preston for me so far. The food is superb, the waiter is polite and not in a rush. The atmosphere is really relax and I had a good time. Definitely recommend.

Lovely beer garden for casual drinks. They have a lot of events on and the customer service is great For food, I wouldn’t recommend the rib eye steak. Very dry and over cooked

Staff great, place fabulous, beer selection excellent food menu read really well but they put no seasoning in. Yes, I know salt is the new poison but if you don't add it to the raw ingredients before cooking they don't taste of anything.

Plenty of outdoor seating on the sunny evening. Good choice of beers at reasonable prices - only downside was length of queue at the bar so serving time wasn't great but it was pretty full. Two tribute bands playing which added to the enjoyment and atmosphere.

First time I visit and won't be the last. I enjoyed the vibe, the drinks were refreshing and quite nice. I was recommended to come and I am happy I did. They did not have food service when I was there, so I can't rate this. I hope I can do so in my next visit.
