First and foremost, the pub’s social media presence was deeply troubling. They posted videos making demeaning and unethical remarks, which is completely unacceptable in any modern society. I couldn’t believe that a place like this would openly share such offensive content without any regard for the hurt it might cause to individuals and communities. . As consumers, we have the right to expect businesses to be responsible and compassionate in their actions. I hope that my review highlights the seriousness of the situation and encourages the Pub to reflect on their behavior, take responsibility for their actions, and make sincere efforts to create an inclusive and respectful environment for all patrons.

Wow can’t believe what I’ve just seen on Facebook been in the Hospitality industry for 8 years and will never treat a customer like that very disturbing behavior surprised there still up and running most definitely not owed by a big company because they wouldn’t put up with racist stuff and the fact the person still works there

Inappropriate and harassing conduct by staff. Their social media presence is disturbing and troubling for common people. Would never wish that I get hungry near this place.

Often finish a Saturday night out round Preston here. Always had a good time and never seen any trouble when we've been in.

Often come here for a few great pints at a place with fantastic staff, fantastic management and a great atmosphere. If I want to treat myself, a BLT is my go to, it's absolutely fantastic! I've tried the American breakfast box before too, with a side of beans (gotta be done), didn't disappoint either, delivered fresh as if the kitchen was next door. Has to be one of my favourite pubs in Preston, and top of my list for food (it doesn't feel like pub food at all, it's great quality, great taste). All in all, I think the pint prices are reasonable, I've never had a bad pint, and the food prices are exceptionally reasonable. Smashing it always!

Got a bit of a bad rep at the moment, but that's allegedly down to a beef between the previous manager and a vindictive licensing officer at lancon.

Great place music brilliant, only down side to me is VERY expensive compared to most other bars.

Cracking traditional pub, absolutely beautiful inside! Friendly staff and super dog friendly too! And "dog friendly" to us is when staff always offer water, which they did here instantly! 10/10!!

Just popped in because it was close to the bus station. Friendly service and quick pints pulled. Thank you for the relief from the monotony of bus travel

Food looked appealing but we unfortunately didn't get a chance to try it

Excellent little pub. I don't mean that in a bad way - nice setting, good drinks promos. And yeah, Brad the barman is excellent. Proper props given. Cheers.

Brilliant service and atmosphere, I've never had any problems I've given a low rating on the food, only because it's all down to personal taste, I've had an American breakfast from them, and I didn't like the bacon or sausage. I've also had a few Sunday dinners, again some of it wasn't to my taste, the Yorkshire puddings came like pancakes, and I didn't like the roast potatoes, but again it's all down to personal taste. Howeber the positive points were there was plenty of food on both meals, and worth the price.

Ordered food and came out in 10mins. Then plates where sorting hot. Always a bad sign for microwave cooking. Ordered stake pie and chips. Chips where hard as nails and pie was same. Only saving grace was gravy. Other order was sausages and mash, same issues. The drinks tasted like they where watered down. As a true Brit I cut it all up, moved around plate and ran and never complained. Now I'm hungry.

Amazing pub, great selection on the food menu and the Sunday roast is just amazing. Good selection of drinks, friendly atmosphere, I go on Sunday just for the mixed Sunday roast. Fresh and well presented, prices are very reasonable. Kris

This was a perfectly serviceable little boozer in Preston, a little smaller than you'd expect from the outside given the pub is very wide but not super deep, still it wasn't too busy so perhaps this one is a bit of a hidden gem. Drinks selection is good and very reasonably priced, but the food was just fine. Not bad, to be sure, but distinctly average. Still, for these prices, you can't moan too much!

Never had a bad experience here even though I only ever nip in for 1 or 2.. Noticed a bad review abar pie and chips and sausage and mash which is an obvious lie tbh because I've seen them serve food and it actually looks the part. Staff are really friendly and welcome strangers as well as regulars.. Decent ale House tbh..

Excellent Sunday roast 'again. Thank you

Missed items off a delivery which made the food inedible (no gravy for a Sunday dinner 🤦‍♀️), and the beef was just fat, so it would have been inedible due to that anyway. Told to ring who delivered it to get a refund as they can't/won't do anything 🙄 Not great customer service to be honest, seeing as it wasn't the delivery drivers fault the gravy was missing. £20 down the drain!

Wow!!! Rough as the hills, and I'm from Middlesbrough!!! Monday night at 9.30, and they're playing happy hardcore music. First customer I see at the bar is stumbling away, spilling her drinks. She's then thrown out 45 minutes later. Very classy, and no intentions of ever going back

Wow. The American breakfast is just wow. You get through the sausages and bacon and potato and egg etc, only to then enjoy pancakes and waffles with syrup. It was like 2 courses.

Good old fashioned pub but noisy. If you want a quiet drink avoid Saturday night 🤣 although if you want to have a bit of a boogy, disco lights came on at 7pm

Supposed to have karaoke from 8pm. Left at 9.30 with no karaoke. One pint of lager was £4.60. Had a few drunk rowdy shouting youngsters and also a few rowdy shouting older guys You say you usually have karaoke on from 9pm. This wasn't a rumour that I heard. It was chalked up on the sandwich board that had been placed outside the pub. So you advertised that you had karaoke starting at 8pm ON THE SANDWICH BOARD. That night.
