Brought me dear friend here for a late evening meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They advised us on various curries. I hate the saag chicken curry which was delicious. My friend had garlic chicken again scrumptious. Staff came to the table to take our drink orders several times and each time were very pleasant and chatty which, was very nice. Very relaxing meal as we got here about 10pm so not many people in.

Really tasty food but expensive and not worth the money. They charge 12 to 15 pounds for a curry but you'd expect it to be a large. Instead they cut the meat into smaller pieces and fill with tomatoes. Years ago you used to get a good portion size but not been the same for past few years.

I have been here numerous times over the years when I am visiting feom London and it is still a fantastic experience. Service, food, quality, portion sizes and price (for the venue) are all excellent. I highly recommend this place. The lamb dishes in particular were of an exceptional quality.

Here with a large group to celebrate a birthday. I arrived slightly later while other's were still waiting for their starter's. I quickly prompted a waiter to order a beer, & requested a menu/drinks menu & to refill our jug of water. They were busy but not overly. My dri k arrived promptly to our table, poppadoms & chutney tray arrived, whilst I quickly decided on my main meal. The food was ok, I requested Prawn Rogan Josh Asian spice style with plenty chilli's, but it came bland & the meal didn't come with rice /naan it's ordered extra. When the bill arrived they refused to split the bill individually, so we all made a bank transfer to one individual who had been given a receipt & worked out individually what we owed. The receipt was wrong, they tried to charge me with King Prawn Rogan Josh, but I just had shrimps, this was rectified after discussion with the till person ref our bill, also your charged £1 per poppadom, & also £3.95 for a large chutney tray with various condiments, I was very surprised at this because all Asian restaurants I've visited don't charge for the chutney tray/poppadoms. I won't be visiting here again, & I don't recommend it either, it is extremely overpriced for the average tasting food, their was hardly any spice in my food. The decor in the restaurant is elaborate, it is a real shame the food didn't deliver the same to my high expectations. Our large party spent over £200 as a whole, & I was regrettably disappointed.

Shockingly bad service today. Popadoms were stale. Mocktails warm. Curry was way too spicy when we ordered medium spice. The chappati was rock hard. We spoke to the manager who was rude. And then spoke to the boss who was even more rude and walked to us with his hands crossed and said this is the service we offer. To speak to women with zero respect is just shockingly bad. It’s appalling service and would never go there again. Waiters didn’t even understand us when we asked for the curry to be warmed up it arrived luke warm. Your customer service is appalling and you need to brush up on how you communicate with your customers 😡😡😡😡

Visited this place with some friends in Dec 2022. Nice open restaurant with lots of seating. Had the popadoms, mixed grill , lamb and chicken dishes, sweet and mango lassi. Good service. Good place to take families. Positives: The meat was really fresh and tender. The choice of pickles.

Really nice location in the heart of Preston Town centre. The place inside is clean and well thought out. The staff are friendly and the service is good too. Food was very nice but a little on the expensive side. A good selection of food and several starters options available.Good looking mocktails & soft drinks. there's a very high quality feel to everything inside.

Excellent all round. Remember tho that the dishes are priced separately..e.g. curry cost rice cost. Doggy bags available as you might need one! £3.50 a soft drink. No idea on other bar items.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at East Z East in Preston, and it truly stands out as one of the best spots for delicious Indian cuisine. The naan and chicken varieties were exceptional, and the poppadoms with pickle tray were a must-try starter. East Z East is highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience!

We went on Christmas eve having not been for years. There's plenty of vegetarian options which is great. We had the tikka paneer to start which was good, and the poppadoms come with a large number of chutneys which was great. We had a family naan which was massive and very tasty. Everything we had was good and I would recommend.

Very good food if a little oily. Service was excellent. The table lighting needs to be improved - basically there isn't any! Overall, worth trying!
