Marabastad was amazingly 👏clean from my previous times there several years ago City of Tshwane Metro must have made great strides to keep the place clean well done to them 👏

Very busy, but better organized. Lots of stores selling similar products and at very low prices. Most items are good quality. Some parking is available with guards. But not enough parking for busy periods. Better to go on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Always good to shop at Marabastad because you get things at bargain prices. Just have to walk around and compare prices. Always go there to buy 3 cats material and clothes.

Marabastad market is still Marabastad market, dodgy as ever. Parking available somewhere. You just have to find it. Their prices are still unbeaten. This is the cheapest marketplace in Pretoria to buy bead work and other traditional stuff. It's a one-stop for everything if you are looking for traditional events' clothing, gifts, accessories, and much much more. Carry a little cash, you will find a R20 bracelet or R30 headwrap...Other than that, most shops use EFT machines. Hold on to your purse, blend into the crowd, do a quick IN and OUT! Enjoy your savings

This place is not for everyone hey! I would recommend you go in the morning on a weekday because it's much better if you're not crowds person... Discounts on almost anything you need ie clothes, hardware,kitchen, Perfumes etc

Prices are fair but way too many criminal looking characters and druggies hanging around there. Hub for thugs. Also, why are the South Africans either employees or customers?

It's dirty but everything is cheap, The veggie market has everything and its way cheap. The clothes are also cheap once get inside 😉 and they're really good quality. Overall it's not a bad market but it is super super dirty

The driver Stuard was amazing...he arrived on time and was very kind all the day to my destination.

We couldn't get a nine year boy some Christmas clothes on 24th of December 2022. We managed to but 1 T-Shirt & 2 jeans on Christmas Day.

Cleanliness is needed. And clear advertising of all the stars inside i walked around unnecessarily looking for a curtain fabric shop. It waste time especially if you know what you really want.
