I have been looking for a salon where my afro can be handled for the way it is and I have found it. I loved the detangling process and the hair drying process. It was not painful like it would be when not handled delicately. The salon is top class, neat with fresh towels (a definite plus for me). All work stations including the hair wash area are sanitized between clients. Natural products are used and I am so happy....

First of all.. this place is BEAUTIFUL!! Black excellence at its best!! Secondly the lady (Mary) detangling my hair is so gentle I could actually fall asleep.. which has not always been the experience with other salons. Highly Highly recommended!!

Wow. That's all I can say. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience here. We took our toddler for a treatment and I must say that I'm very impressed. My two-year-old daughter's hair was tangled and a complete mess, but what that salon achieved is nothing short of a miracle. They were gentle with my little girl and she didn't cry one bit. I'm still in awe and can't stop raving about it. The stylists were kind to her and talked me through the process of treating her hair that I never used to comb because of how hard it was. The team is professional, the place is neat and clean. And all the COVID-19 protocols are observed. It's worth every cent and the drive. I'm sure that this will be my daughter's new favourite place as we begin her natural journey. Thanks to B and Mandy (I hope I got her name right). Oh, they also sell their own products that you can use at home and got myself some. I loved it here.

The extra care for my dreads, from assessment to washing, and recommendations was superb. I love the natural products, quite affordable and effective too for the wonders they did for my dreads.

My 2nd time going there, & I must say it gets better with every visit. I'm considering purchasing their products as my hair hadn't looked that luscious in a while!

One of the best Salone iv ever visited. Tshepi gave a warm welcome, patience did the best wash and detangling, Selina braided my hair with ease and softness I felt no pain actually I fell asleep while braiding. I enjoyed the environment, peaceful, relaxing, calming music and wonderful staff members. I recommend LUL and will definitely be going back

Sharon did our bookings a day before our treatments, arrived at 1pm and my 3 year old child only did treatment and she had to wait until 4:30 for stylist after she cried , grumpy the whole salon . They didn’t even care to try to manage the situation. The worst service ever especially such a small child to be treated like that . They overbook clients and just let you and carry on witg their businesses

The salon is not what it used to be when it was at Shere. Twice I made an appointment to get my hair done and both times I had to wait. This past weekend I was called 25 minutes before the time to move my appointment by an hour and when I arrived I still waited 30 minutes.

This place is great with natural hair, but very bad with managing their schedule. The waiting time is excessive, regardless of having an appointment. Today I waited an hour beyond my appointment time before someone assisted me, which for me was the last straw. The least they could have done was to contact me before coming to the salon to advise they were running late and postpone the appointment. There is a lot of productive things I can do with an hour, warming their couch is not one of them. I had made 2 separate appointments for my sister and I, and it seems they booked us us with 1 person, which is why I had to wait so long.

I cut my afro when I was pregnant in 2019 and was worried if it would ever grow the same. Well, it is better than ever thanks to Love Ur Locks. I did the cotton press and it gave me the bounce I needed without any damage. Thank you for making my natural hair journey the best ever!

The best place for natural hair in Pretoria.Some might say pricey but just like all quality things in life, you pay for premium so that you can get premium. My daughter has been going there for 5 years now, their stylist are gentle, their customer service is a 10/10 and your child is always in safe hands with them for -hair, scalp and the way they treat children and clients. No afro is too locked for them. They turn every bad hair day into a lux Afro day. Make sure you get their hair growth spray, hair looks healthy when you use it and it loosens knots.
