Had a fantastic stay there with my partner. The reception ladies were absolutely friendly, the hotel room was clean and had all the required essential. An very quite so I got to spend my birthday weekend in peace and quiet. Look forward to returning again.

Quite a small modern space, great food. nice staff. It's in town which makes it difficult to leave in the afternoon because of traffic if they can have a way that allows cars from the hotel to exit from the undercover exit points. Otherwise it's a nice hotel

I stayed at the self-catering room that offered almost all necessary amenities, from cutlery to a blender. However, I was disappointed with the poor maintenance. The kettle was quite unpleasant, with a big, smelly, dirty interior. Despite requesting a replacement, they brought back the same dirty kettle. In addition, the living room lights were broken, and the curtain rails fell off while closing them. Rooms with AC remote. These maintenance issues definitely impacted my overall experience negatively. My overall review goes to Michael (Maintenance guy), who assisted me with curtain rails and AC remote.

Excellent value for money. Situated in the heart of Hatfield close to the mall and eating houses. Great vibe outside the hotel, a bit noisy with students in party mode. Kanya at reception was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are okay,but your car is not safe at all.first visit they stole valve caps,second time they stole the black thing that cover the windscreen on the side and just yesterday they stole spare wheel.If you want your car to be safe don't even consider booking at this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. -What I did not like was that I could not sign for food or drinks. Had to pay everytime when ordering something. In that case I can just as easily eat out (options enough in the neighborhood), which I did. - They needed my passport for parking my motor cycle (not SA license). Ridiculous! -Other issue (not fault hotel) is the constant hooting of the minibuses (to attract customers). I cannot understand why the city allows this.

The security was extremely helpful in the very early morning hours of Sunday (12-02-2023). Unfortunately I have missedplaced the securities names, but I wanted to say thank you for being friendly, kind and extremely helpful. I will definitely recommend Hotel@Hatfield were you can rest easy knowing you are safe and well looked after.

I was disappointed on last day. Found my R20 that I kept on side table missing I paid for Breakfast on my arrival.. R100. I stayed for like five nights and only went to have breakfast on last day... everybody came flocking a minute after minutes asking me if I paid.. I felt unforcomfortable and did not enjoy the meal at all. Also you can do better with not having refrigerators in rooms. So inconvenient. P.S I had to Give you a Four Star.. because despite that. I still had good time in Hartfield. Even though your king suite rooms and showers are also kinda small.

My friend and I stayed there a while ago. It was really nice. The staff was great and really helpful with everything; like random things. We wanted to heat up food and they helped us in the kitchens even though it wasn't prepared there. The beds were real comfortable, the room was real clean. I really liked the fact that the AC worked well (I have an AC fascination😂) We stayed there for a few days and the rooms were cleaned regularly. They have a little room where you can iron your clothes etc, they really think of everything when it comes to convenience. There's free WiFi and a TV. And there was free candy in the hotel reception every morning so that was plus😂😂 Please stay at Hotel@Hatfield. It's really awesome.

Great service, very polite staff and always somebody at the reception to help you. Average rooms, but great for the price. The nights were rather loud but that was due to other guests. We had to get soap from the front desk because we never actually got one (not even after a day with cleaning). And the safe was locked. Directly oposite of the Hatfield plaza for groceries and food.

Very busy, especially in the night, maybe cos its around student accommodationsand the University just nearby. Had some people knocking in my room past midnight. Rooms were good size, just didn't like the carpets. Good food. The staff is friendly and helpful though, and for.me, that's a plus.

I can't rate them down on location as the hotel is situated in a very busy and noisy street, if windows and doors are closed the noise from the cars down the road becomes better. I loved the picnic setup done by Tshego for my husband, the chocolate cake, nuts, strawberries, biltong etc were to die for. The room setup was amazing. The only downfall was the chairs, they had unbearable stains on them. I propose use of chair covers if covering them with leather will be costly. Covers can be easily washed. First day, the super wasn't that great, 2nd day the super & breakfast were WOW. The dumpling I highly recommend it👌. Their African cuisine is amazing 👏 😍. Lastly I wish the iron and ironing can be brought into your room as an option rather having to walk and iron at the designated ironing room away from from your room. That was not practical for me.

Average hotel. Our group had some challenges at check in, as they had our reservation for the wrong dates. The room they assigned me to, when I went upstairs to enter it, I was greeted by a family that was already in the room. Well, that was awkward. I returned to the front desk and they apologized and put me in another room. Definitely I felt a bit shook up by that experience and was extra cautious about security. Some of the rooms, mine included, don’t have a window looking to three outside and rather the window looks into the hallway. A bit odd. I like the stairs, as it made it easy to get to rooms by taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Not crowded at all. Convenient that there is a restaurant on the ground floor.

It is a very good hotel. located in a very good area and safe, easy to get transport to go anywhere and there is restaurant around.

Hotel @Hatfield is perfectly situated around the Hatfield Plaza and Square, with a small stretch of vibrant lounges, pubs and restaurants on the same street. The hotel has ample parking as well. The rooms are good value for money. The hotel offers a lovely dining area and restaurant . I loved the artwork and decorations around the hotel. Overall, this hotel has the potential to go from good to great as it has a lot to offer.

Exactly what you would expect ..from the description of the hotel.. Surprising large hotel which isn't noticeable from the street. Also has a very cute 4m X 2.5m pool on 3rd floor side balcony.. Rooms clean and comfortable.. Perfect little midweek break if you from outta town..

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are cozy and practical, not huge, but large enough. The staff is very friendly and it feels like there is a good vibe between staff as well. This gives a very friendly and welcoming feeling. The food is quite good. The only disadvantage is that it is a bit noisy. On the one side there are soccer fields where they play (with music) in the evening. The other side has a relatively busy road. Also inside the hotel it is a bit noisy. I'm not sure if it is the music, the acoustics, or the people staying there.

I appreciate the accommodation facilities and the top-notch service. I had a great experience while at the hotel. The surroundings are pristine and sanitary. I'm delighted that hand sanitizers are still available to us even after Covid-19; this says so much about the hotel's commitment to keeping everyone safe during these trying times. I want to thank the chef and his team for the wonderful meals they made for me while I was staying at the hotel. Last but not least, I'd want to express my gratitude to the waiters and waitresses and cleaning team for always having a smile on their face while working. It's very appreciated. Wish I could stay longer! Can the owners adopt me please lol. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful so is the person that helped with the luggage. The rooms were clean, and the linen was of great quality, actually can't fault the place of anything

My room was beautiful and clean. The food was delicious and room service is operational and great. Upon arrival, I was met by great and friendly staff that was enthusiastic to assist and prove a great service. The Wi-Fi in the room was not great, I had to buy data 🫠. I visited on a Sunday and unfortunately not all meals and drinks that were on the menu were available 😔.

Took 3 hrs to check-in because booked room Was not ready and then they gave us a room with aircon not working in 35 degree heat. When complained again, eventually gave a good room at 21:00. How can you make paying customers wait for so long. Imagine all this after traveling for 7 hrs, TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

Biggest issue I experienced Tuesday evening at around 23:00 was someone opening my room and entering, when I shouted to find out who they were they shut the door. Same thing happened to my colleague this morning at 2am. Management was so nonchalant about it as if it is no big deal. Definitely never going back there again for safety and security reasons

Nice, but these rooms which dark, these no light depend on the electricity light especially room 337, the ventilation, the shower slop is not good, when you bath the water is coming out to the room floor, anyway security is good, finishings r good, actually the service is very good

Hosted a friend's baby shower in the 26th of November 2022. We were served food which was beyond spoiled which had an awful smell and oxtail which was under cooked. We complained and the chef wanted to cover up their mess of serving us rotten food by giving us half chicken. Service was horrible. Food beyond rotten. And worse part we had to pay for the rotten food we got served. Regardless of the fact that we made a booking in advance , place wasn't prepared at all for us when we got there.

The place is nice for a 1 night stay, it's clean and close to many restaurants shops and clubs nearby so you won't even have to drive. The service is awesome, friendly kind welcoming staff they deserve 10/10 if thats important to you then you'd want to stay here

Celebrated mother's 50th birthday at on of their conference room. We absolutely loved every moment of it, the food served was delicious and the help we got exceeded our expectations. The staff is professional, friendly.

Ok so room 219 Lovely spacious clean modern Bed comfortable pillows are good Bathroom is lovely. Hot water was not HOT. Windows have double glazing for noise. BUT IT DID NOT HELP AT ALL IT WAS UNSLEEPABLE FROM 10 PM TILL 4AM
