PROS:
A
clean
hotel
lobby,
with
basic
/
dated
rooms,
a
good
location,
average
price,
Has
safe
underground
parking
but
full
of
pillars
and
tight
turns.
Thoughtfully,
they
offer
complimentary
ice
tea
and
a
water
dispenser
in
lobby.
Nearby
Lynnbridge
shops
close
early,
particularly
on
weekends,
and
some
are
vacant:
CONS;
Sent
to
assess
the
location
as
a
potential
conference
venue,
after
a
long
24
hours
of
travel,
front
desk
couldn’t
initially
find
my
reservation:
they
have
an
unusually
long
and
inefficient
check
in
process,
a
PhD
dissertation
of
key
board
clicks
later,
re-entering
all
the
details
found
on
my
online
reservation:
This
was
exacerbated
by
the
single
desk
clerk
serving
two
other
queue
jumping
customers
in
the
middle
of
my
check
in
process,
while
other
staff
looked
on.
Not
courteous,
not
rude,
just
the
basic
motions,
no
welcome,
greeting,
or
good
day,
or
thanks,
enjoy
your
stay,
etc.
No
shampoo
in
room,
no
face-clothes,
a
used
tube
of
body
lotion,
shower
leaks
on
floor,
missing
light
bulbs,
small
TV,
patio
missing
a
table,
and
no
USB
plugs
or
any
outlets
near
bed
to
charge
devices.
ISSUE
/
DEAL
BREAKER
:
Despite
reserving,
requesting
and
pre-paying
for
a
non-smoking
room,
I
was
put
into
a
smoking
room,
which
came
with
and
smells
like
an
ash
tray.
Slept
with
window
open,
facing
a
noisy
expressway.
Front
desk
lady
offered
no
options
or
apologies,
just
cited
their
right
to
put
me
in
a
smelly
room
and
to
ignore
my
request
and
what
I
paid
for,
based
on
availability.
However,
plenty
of
people
checked
in
after
me.
Fair
enough,
then
it’s
also
our
right
as
business
travelers,
especially
in
todays
market,
to
choose
from
the
plethora
of
other
options
for
business
travel
/
conference
in
the
area.
