All you need under one roof Sammy marks، The most Good thing is that, close to transport facilities, Departments, difference type of restaurants, the shop around is not that expensive . The Negative side is : There is noticeable change in Qality and safety , the place is starting to have uncomfortable smell. Also the entrance is not well taken care of so it’s a bit dirty and not securityed Enough Well.
Very busy shopping mall, gets quite crazy and fun at times, nice stores and has enough variety to cater for quick shopping while in town especially for pedestrians. If you are driving however, street parking is almost always non-existent and you'll have to use the basement parking. This makes quick shopping difficult if you are driving.
The square seems to be having great modifications or improvements. We'll located though surrounded by the filth that has become synonymous with South African cities. I'm really disappointed with our local government.
Still the centrepiece of Pretoria shopping centre. Now has a McDonald's restaurant on the centre. I haven't been there for ages but loved SMS!!!!
It looks very much professional and neat this time around. The last time I took a proper walk around the area was in 2016 and it has gone through some changes. I am attracted to the idea of some of the businesses operating there and seeing young people employed. Thumbs up.
This square has been popular for a very long times, one of the most important part of our Capital city Pretoria, Kudos to the management for keeping it clean and welcoming always 😊
Always be careful when u park they will tow u away
Sammy marks is nice, close to transport facilities and clean. The only problem is that now there’s vendors by the entrance and the place is starting to have a smell. Also the entrance is not well taken care of so it’s a bit dirty.
We took a purple bus into the City centre and walked to Sammt Mark's square. Along the way we looked for this Mosque, but thought it was not there anymore. What a wonderful surprise. Chatted to the caretaker and took pictures. A true hidden gem.
Nice, neat, safe place. Clothing shops like Mr Price and Legit are there( to name a few) MacDonalds is there, so you can sit and relax after shopping. Lots of parking along Madiba Street.
Always open at convenient hours but Atms are not 24 Hours available to public & I understand for safety reasons besides that it's safe & perfect if you love food and clothes plus gym
We were in the Chamber boardroom for training. Rhis room is very big, so with the facilitator standing in front, he/she had to talk loud so that the whole room could hear, everybody had to keep absolutely still so that we could here the presentation. Only half of the lights were working, so it was difficult to read from the booklets, the chairs are broken and wobbly, the bathroom didn't have any toiletpaper and small cockroaches were running around on the floor...
The visit was amazing with great taste of chicken and chips I appreciate
Attended training with Tshwane for food handlers course - excellent course - good environment
Clean, secure and convenient.. Able to locate most stores if you want to do a quick shopping.. The energy is vibrant around
I'm has few shops but it's always clean, the main problem is the parking, it's not safe, especially the 2nd Level in the basement(P2). You don't feel safe in the lift.
Nice shopping centre but if your doing sales it's kinda bit difficult for you. Because security they want you to pitch customer outside the store
It's a nice place to be, there is also a McD which has a perfect place to rest and get a good meal if you are hungry
Cool place there's no way you can't meet anyone you know and it's actually clean regardless of the foot traffic
It's always full to the brim, the service is absolutely horrible, waited there for 50 minutes only to find that they didn't even call my order number, it was sitting there unattended while I watch people who ordered after me receive their orders, my food was cold when I ate it. I gave those people my receipt twice and only got it when some guy amongst women came and gave it to me after I handed my receipt to two women beforehand.
It's a whole mall experience and probably the nicest mall I've ever encountered in pretoria so far.
I had a terrible experience at Legit Sammy Marks Square. I went to exchange damaged items bought at Menlyn Mall, but the manager was rude and dismissive. She told me I was "telling her stories" and refused to help, despite me having the receipt. Extremely disappointed with the service!
Customer service at the parking lot was impossible. Those people would not allow us to leave the parking lot when we didn’t park. We were tourists who ended at the lot by mistake and tried to leave immediately (in and out). We couldn’t not backup after getting to their gates because there was a line behind us on the down ramp. They demanded payment or that we leave the car behind until we can pay an exorbitant rate. Management was unavailable. Parking agents were unfriendly.
