Some of the very best BBQ I've had in the area. We tried ribs, chicken, knuckle, and sausage...all were smoked to perfection. The sauce has just the right amount of spice and is tangy without being too sweet. All the sides are delicious too -- especially the collards. The dining area is small and the place does a solid trade around lunch, so expect a wait and a crowd.

This hole in the wall has now become one of my go to spots when traveling through this city. This local gem was recommended to me repeatedly by locals and it did not disappoint. I tried their sloppy joes and by the end of the day I decided to come back for more. The person who took my order wasn’t even remotely friendly but even this doesn’t diminish my want to return to this delicious place. I would definitely recommend this to any person who can appreciate a good barbecue.

Walking in the door the aroma of southern BBQ filled the air; after looking at the menu I asked was their sauce spicy and the cashier gave me a sample to try; it was delicious. I decided to have the BBQ sandwich however I don't know if they heard me correctly because after sitting down I found two pieces of bread and a plate full of ribs. They only have three sides to choose from and I don't eat any of them; the BBQ sandwich was supposed to come with chips and a drink however upon leaving I asked was I supposed to get chips and she said no. The ribs were a little bit tougher than I like because I like them falling off the bone tender but they were really good. Friendly, helpful, and nice service and they had my lunch ready in a matter of minutes. I recommend this restaurant I just wish they had a little bit more to choose from especially where the sides are concerned.

Update: visited a second time still amazing. Awwe Man, found this place by accident and I'm sitting here in a food coma unable to get to my car! :) My wife and I hadnt eaten all day and ordered a half rack of ribs and half a chicken. So much meat on the bone and so absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and we are sitting and relaxing here now watching the game. You could feed a family of 4 easily for $30-40. Really good value. Support this hidden gem.

It looked sooooooo good that I forgot to take a picture. And it didn't just look good but it also tasted great! Probably the best BBQ I ever had and I eat a lot of BBQ! We had a combo with 1/4 of a chicken, sausage and 3 ribs! The combo comes with some bread!It's enough for 2. I'm not big on sausage, but this sausage is just incredibly good! They are super friendly! I totally recommend this place!

I passed by trying to get to Annie's. Barbeque Ribs spot on...I think a lot of restaurants are using bag pre cut greens. Too stemy with an artificial taste. Please, make a separate small amount of egg potato salad. Use the elders recipe...

OMG 😳 I didn't know what I had gotten into a co worker brought me a BBQ sandwich and THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING 😍 BBQ IVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THEIR FOOD IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! I WILL BE A REGULAR FROM NOW ON!!!! It made me want to slap my grandmother it was sooooo damn good!!!

One of the favorite local places to grab lunch! Beef on bun, small potato salad and a drink for under $8. Best lunch ever.

The ribs had a nice smoke on them and the potato salad was great. They had our food ready in 15mns which is pretty rare for rib joints.

Family-owned, regional-style (not spicy) barbecue. Order at the counter, then take out or sit down in the small room. No frills, just good, authentic food. They know what they're doing here.

We were driving through Mobile and saw McMillan had a great rating. Having eaten at some of the best places in Texas, we decided to try Alabama bbq. It was worth it! We had ribs and chicken with collard greens and potato salad. Great sauce. Tender ribs. Meat in the collard greens. And not expensive. Congratulations Mobile on having this hidden gem - one of the best BBQ places in the country!

The ribs was very tough normally okay but today hit or miss. The sauce taste like vinegar. I was not happy.

Great ribs and sauce! We stopped for lunch on our way home after vacation. Great food for a great price and very friendly service! Also had a yummy praline for dessert!
