It was such a nice park to spend the day. You have to pay to park. There is a summit where you can drive to and enjoy the view. Handicap parking is available, and there are ramps for strollers as well. Maps show you what direction you are looking at and what places you can see.

Easy mountain to get to from all points in Massachusetts. Parking set up is good - staff is friendly - mountain has 3 main lifts - something for most abilities with indoor and outdoor drinking/eating options - smell of waffles and wood smoke help set the mood. Great way to spend a day...

Nice hike on a beautiful early fall Sunday. Quite a few hikers out there. Parking at the visitor center is limited. However, there is plenty of parking in the other parking lots down Mountain Rd. The Old Indian Trail to the summit was pretty muddy, but manageable. The view from the summit is well worth the hike up there (it is also possible to drive up there, but hey, what's the fun in that?)

I like this place. It was easy to get to the mountain. Shuttle bus up to the front. Quick card, go to rentals, get your helmet, boots next, grab your poles, your name is printed on the ski's. Head to the automatic gate - your card gets you through the gate and your on the lift to the top. Family friendly Staff, lots of food and drink choices. Mexican food truck right on site. Even on a packed day it wasn't too bad for the lift. Locker price is too high though. Bring a bag to hold your stuff. Have fun skiing.

It's a wonderful and ideal hill for trekking. There are multiple trail routes. We have started using old Indian trail route. It's full of green and natural path without any man made stairs. Few places it's nice sloppy and some places it's steep. I'm pleasantly surprised when I saw many seniors who also walking on the trail. Many came with their pet's. Very nice! I am able to see multiple skiing routes but not sure whether those are operational during winter. There is a very well built road which you can use to go to peak using car. In the peak very nice 360 degree view and a small pond with plenty of fishes where you can have your snacks. There is also a washroom available in the peak. You have to carry water, food and first aid along with you. It may take around 1.30 - 2.00 hrs to reach the peak if you walk very relaxed and by taking lot of pics. To get down it may take around 45 minutes. 4 hrs total time is more than sufficient. The place is colder than near by locations and windy too. In the starting point you have very big car parking where you can park around 500+ cars also there are multiple extended car park which are free. It's very scenic location starting from wachusette reservoir so don't forget your camera. Certainly enjoyable and wonderful free to visit national reserve to rejuvenate yourself!

Pine trail to the summit. Mountain house and loop trail back. Icy and snowy throughout - used micro spikes all the way. Great to see skiers dismounting from the chair lift from the summit. We went into the ski resort on the way back and bought food. Onions rings are the best I have had and hot chocolate is amazing!

Beautiful trails to the summit but it was quite busy the day I climbed. Could have been from the food truck festival at the base or just regular peeps getting out and enjoying mother nature.

The best of the smaller mountains in the CT, RI, MA area in my opinion. Outside of the mighty Yawgoo Valley anyway. They are all about customer service and they STAY independent. Nothing but respect. The swap meet is the best place to get good, inexpensive gear and the hiking is fantastic as well. Visit the summit if you go. Any season... It's beautiful.

Beautiful view, clean, nice road for motorcycle ride on the last very warm day of October 2023.

Park on top or on the bottom. It's hard to go wrong here. I recommend wearing good hiking shoes as you will need support and some grip on the soles. Wonderful old-growth surroundings- enjoy wherever you are and don't fixate on the summit (which you can just drive to).

Great spot for a 45mins -1hr long hike with both paved and unpaved hike option based where you start. Unpaved Hike is moderate difficulty level. Great sunset or moonrise views.

Beautiful hike to the top of the mountain! Awesome breathtaking 360 view! Hike is either through a road which is easy or through trails which are harder. Update 9/15/23 - Hike the long trail 6+miles around the mountain and up and it's a really good hike with some challenging parts. Took 3h30min with some time spent at the top enjoying the view. Trail markings are not always the best. There are now "natural" stairs that have been built to come up and down the mountain from the Parking. Lost some of its charm but definitely safer than before. Enjoy!

Great place to go with the family the view is breathtaking. It was a cold windy day but it was all worth it. The price was not high and the food was delicious. They had bathrooms and in clean condition. I definitely will come again!!!

Super powdery, great trails, fantastic place to ski! Only a short drive away from boston, making it an ideal day trip for skiing. People there were extremely friendly. Lodge was clean, parking was easy to navigate

What a great time! I hadn't skied in 40 years and decided to try it again. We purchased a 3 lesson package and stayed overnight in the area. Check-in and getting our rental equipment was super easy. The instructors were wonderful, and the facilities were clean and easy to navigate. I highly recommend Wachusett!

Great snowboarding night. Wachusett is fun, even if you don't ski or snowboard. We go to the coppertop, food is good, pub style and easy to have with a drink by the fire. I can't speak for the snowboarding conditions, but my son and his friends love it. Best part, the heated benches OMG, I could spend all night there. Only downfall is the long lines for the lifts, but I guess that's a small price to pay for winter sports.

Mid week, afternoon skiing January 14th 2022. Conditions were great. Groomed and plenty of snow/man-made, no ice patches. Minimal lines at lifts, although terrain park lift was not running. If open 5 stars. One of the few mountains within 2hrs of Boston that you can get a half day pass, $55. That was a bonus.

A perfect place to visit whether you hike up there or drive to the summit. There are 2 main (amongst few other) hiking trails to summit. One from visitor center parking lot (steeper and rocky) and it costs $5 to park for the day at visitor center. Other trail (longer and dirt) and starts from resort area around gravel parking lot. If you dont feel like hiking, you can take you car up there to the summit. There is a small fee you have to pay to drive up. There is a nice big parking lot on the summit with many view points on the way. Views from summit are especially amazingly beautiful during fall season. So make sure you go up the summit if you are in this area.

Parked at the visitor center. Paid $5 then followed pine hill trail to the summit. Beautiful day for a hike! Had a lot of fun!

Easy hike and beautiful view. You can see Boston city far away a little bit (cool). It gets very crowded sometimes though. Last time I went up there, there were too many people.

Small ski mountain, very convenient and child friendly. Had a lot of fun skiing with friends. Easy to rent equipment, very affordable. I didn’t pay for parking spot, that was great!
