The only real Italian Restaurant in Prishtina

The only reason I’m not reviewing 1 star is because we had gone to Basilico for years and their service and food was great in the past. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, that maybe today was just a bad prank. We ordered bruschetta and they brought us four thin slices of bread (including the end of the bread which is even smaller). We told the waiter we weren’t happy with the plate and he just shrugged and walked away. The soup and salad were also tiny. Regardless, I thanked the waiters whenever they brought out the plates but I never got a response or acknowledgement. The soup nearly spilled over because the waiter half threw it. Even when we placed the order, the waiter kept walking away without us finishing the order. We did not feel welcomed, we were overcharged, and our experience was just disappointing.

The food was extremely well prepared. We had pasta, sea food, chicken, and appetizers. Nothing was "out of place". Make sure to make a reservation a day before, as the restaurant is very busy.

Don't order the shrimp they don't clean them properly. Regardless if you ask them to. The rest of the dishes are great. Highly recommended: salmon, steak, and pastas.

My must-go place everytime I am in Pristina. Centrally located, you can find an interesting mix of internationals and locals. Good food though the menu is not very extended and nice service. Prices are on the average. I would recommend that wi-fi is really available as it does not really work.

It's regarded as one of the best places to eat in town. I love the atmosphere and the service is okay. The food, however, (imho) has downgraded in quality over the last few years. Had lunch with friends recently and none of us left satisfied. The pastas were mediocre and chicken dishes were too dry. Absolutely no soul. You'd expect a lot more given that the prices are higher than other places in the city.
