Visited here in December, 2018. I saw this restaurant recommended in some travel sites and noticed it is highly reputed as the place serving traditional Kosovan food with a high quality. Anyway you all can definitely like this restaurant, I believe. Quiet atmosphere, a wide variety of menu choices, friendly and hospitable staff, and of course wonderful cuisine. No reason you can't like it. As for Kosovan food, I have heard that is influenced by Neighboring Albania's food culture, which features thick and big pieces of meat(?). When I was wondering what to eat here, meats seemed pretty attractive, but finally chose a fish cuisine because it was listed on the top of menu. I am sure, after all, my choice was great. The fish cooked inside a salt crust was amazingly tasty. I would never forget that heart-touching moment of having this cuisine and beer with it. I don't think I can come again easily, but my experience here will vividly stain in my memory.

An incredible interior and wide variety of local specialties make this a must visit on a trip to Pristina. I’d go so far as to say it’s been out too restaurant so far during our travels around the Balkans. The food was all delicious - from casseroles of tender meat and bubbling cheeses presented attractively in cast iron skillets to fresh bread baked in their wood-burning oven. Top notch!

Tucked away a side alley. Friendly service. Portion was very big. Price value quite good. Steak is always more expensive. Salads are big as usual. Steak was a big tough, but proper taste. Everything tastes better with grilled cheese right. They offer chicken, starters, chicken, fish, lots of meat dishes, big and bigger. Prishtina has some amazing restaurants, but this is definitely not one of them. Nice setting, but overpriced low quality food. I got mostly fat in my meat dish. Better try other places.

Our hotel recommended Liburina as a great place for traditional Kosovan food and we had recommendations from TripAdvisor too, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered their aromatic local raki (very popular), peppers in cream (loved this!), oven-cooked casserole of lamb with yogurt (lamb was delicious & well cooked, yogurt soufflé was very mild), spinach rice (like risotto but less creamy and has an egg in the middle) and a traditional dessert - Tespishte (cake could’ve been softer). Ambience was very warm & cosy, decor was intricate & beautiful, service was good and price very reasonable. Happy tummy :-)

A very unique restaurant and definitely a recommendation for anyone visiting Pristina. Has a very unique environment and decoration, making you feel you are in a very old (even medieval style) restaurant. Food was very tasty and we'll presented. Good selection of dishes and quite a few Kosovo specials. Gets quite full at dinner time, but easy to find a table for lunch, so I'd recommend to try at lunch time for a less rushed experience. Service was good and prices quite acceptable (mainly compared to Western Europe prices).

A very average restaurant with a traditional fit out and emphasis on vegetable and home style cooking. We came with our tour guide and expected a lot more given the reviews and his feedback that he brings all his clients here. We found the chicken overcooked in both chicken dishes (one with pasta and one in a cream mushroom sauce). The noodles were hard with an interesting curry flavour - perhaps an acquired taste but the texture felt undercooked and was overall not enjoyable. The wait staff also forgot our vegetables which was fresh and a large portion. Atmosphere is a bit dark and cold but again, nice to see a traditional Albanian-type decor and fitout. Menu is quite large with chicken, rice and vegetable dishes in both English and Albanian. Restaurant also accepts card which is a plus. Overall, would suggest giving this place a miss and seeing what else is around.

The food is usually very good but not something wow, last time I didn't like that the mushrooms weren’t hot but cold and I think they just had them ready (other times the mushrooms were perfect). We spend our two nights in Liburnia, best in the city. We have tried the meat with potatoes , Elbasan, meat with cheese sauce and beef with pasta and mushroom.They were all so delicious so is their 0.5ml red wine. We found the restaurant by coincidence and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The first day we had a late lunch and the food was great, especially the oven rice with vegetables. The house wine cannot be left without mentioning, it was fantastic, probably the best house wine we have tried. Reviews from as far back as FOUR YEARS ago - or as recent as last month - complain about the astounding lack of service, yet nothing seems to have changed. I could perhaps justify waiting for 20 minutes to receive a menu, another 20 for someone to come take our order, another 20 for drinks to arrive, and another 20 minutes still for the food, IF the food was Michelin star quality. As it stands, this is a restaurant where you trade your time and your patience for average food and the kind of awful service that makes you question how it's possible that a restaurant like this is still in business. Beautiful setting, but the complete disregard waitrons have for customers cancels out the benefits of the environment.
