A really nice place to spend the day in Proença-a-Nova area! Even if you spend a week in the area just be aware they have a total of 5 river beaches in the area.

Fair amount of parking. Calm environment. Good accessibility. Amount of sediment appears to show low water flow volume. Very relaxing.

Lovely serene place, I was there 31st Aug, blazing hot day, bit only about 20 people around. The pool has those little fish that nibble at your feet 😁 Nice little cafe, hot & cold food. I can see parking being awkward if busy but yeah, lovely place.

Nice spot to chill during the hot weather. It has plenty of space. The space has lots of shadow due to the planted trees. One of the sides has a bigger tree where most people gather but on the other side you have many olive trees that also provide shade. You also have a public single barbecue that if unused you may feel free to use (just be careful with the "Fire hazard warnings ⚠️" because it may not be recommended to start fires. You also have a faucet for water right next to the barbecue. Alvito bar provides wifi to compensate for the lack of network signal and allows you to keep connected. It also has bathrooms, food and drinks.
