A magical place at sunset. And very moving with all the memory ribbons, particularly at the moment with all the covid masks 😔 There's about 150 steps from the car park (my 11 year old daugter loves counting!) but with railings and places to stop it's easily doable for most people and we'll worth the effort. Such a beautiful little church as well, the best one we've seen on the East Coast area. We'll recommended. I imagine it's also stunning at sunrise as well but that's a bit early for me!

This place is worth the visit located at the top of a small hill, you can see most of protaras from the top and the view is really nice especially at sunset. It is advisable to visit in the afternoon during hot seasons. Also note that you need to climb 153 steps to reach it so take care while visiting🤗

If your driving to this place there is very small parking lot for max 10 cars. However the place is worth the stop by specially at the sunset you enjoy a romantic sun set up the hill at this place. Panorama photos 360° For full video about my last visit to Cyprus check it out under the name "Cyprus in 11 days" on my youtube chanel "Smiley Videography"

Visit any time you like, but at sunrise or sunset the place is magic. I always find Cyprus Churches charming but when located on top of a hil or on shoreline they look even better. This one has them all, cats included :).

It is a Greek Orthodox Church located on top of a hill. Although the steps (around 68) might be challenging for some people, it’s definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful church located on top of a hill that overlooks Protaras. We received a warm welcome from the local cats after conquering the steep staircase!

A very beautiful church. There are a lot of steps up to this church on the hill, make sure to count them as you go up. Once at the top you have stunning views across the city and the coastline. The inside of the church itself is very beautiful, with the typical Greek Orthodox iconography. There’s a small shop at the top as well which you can buy drinks for very cheap, or souvenirs. You can also buy a ribbon for a loved one and tie it around one of the trees. Recommend going to have a look up here it is an amazing sight

nice little church on a hill worth a visit, if you go by car be aware google maps will show a rough and unpaved road for the last 500m, that‘s not the road to use, there is a parking space right a the northern foot of the hill

Lovely little church to visit to take in some of the local culture. Not for the faint hearted or physically challenged with 153 steps to reach the top (counted by my 8yr old daughter while I'm panting like a dog). Lovely scenic views and did some deco chasing around the rocks outside.

A lovely little church. Well worth the trek up all the steps. Best go early morning before it gets too hot. Picturesque views.

Beautiful little Chapel on a hill that can be seen from miles around. A short walk from the carpark but fab views at the top.

Such a beautiful peaceful place for prayer and beautiful sunsets. Shame about the gardens not being cared for however, we visited this church most nights.

A nice place with a awesome view. You climb up to the roof of ayia and you can discover the whole area. The small church is very quite and you can discover some locals they talk about the history’s of the church. Nice to visit at the morning and also in the sunset!

Beautiful little church at the top of very steep steps. Not ideal for small children or the elderly. Great views all around and very peaceful. There is a small cafe at the bottom which is great to have a drink after walking back down to the car park.

Breathtaking birdseye view to the Protaras coastline. 153 steps up -quite steep. Small snack bar at the bottom of the steps with refreshments and delicious sandwiches!

Nice and interesting place. The church itself is small but there is a prayer space. You can see many sights from the top and there is a telescope for €1

Nice, cosy church. A new one, built in the 20th century but according to Byzantium standards. It's on top of the hill, so you either walk up the stairs or use another (probably old) "stone ladder" climb at the back of the hill. The view from the top of the hill is spectacular.

👍👍 Very easily accessible cave. Should not take much of your time to get there since you can park very close by. Also you can follow a foot path along the coast which leads to some far from the crowd beaches with crystal waters. My only problem with this area is all the development going on at the mom...
