Definitely visit this place while you are in Protaras weekends is extremely busy so it’s better to book a table on phone in advance! Don’t miss out The Cypriot Mahallepi with rose 🌹 ice cream along with a Frappe definitely worth it.. Traditional desert from Cyprus 😉

Stunning views from this little beverage spot. We had mahlabie which is a refreshing Cypriot desert. Situated at the Cavo Maris hotel but you don't have to be a guest at the hotel to visit this place. Definitely recommended this for the atmosphere

To Kafeneion at Cavo Maris, right by the sea, is the ultimate place to taste the best Maxallepi, with rosewater and rose ice cream. 👌👌 You should definitely visit.

Offers transitional sweet and more( like mahallepi with ice cream ), cypriot coffee, a stunning view of the crystal-clear blue sea, and finding a table is a breeze. Highly recommended!

Delicious traditional pies and Cyprus coffee. We ordered salty pie with Haloummi and sweet one with tahini.

An amazing stop over for an afternoon coffee and chill! The views are of course breathtaking, service is good as the people were polite and quick and the prices were very descent, plus they accept cards which is a big plus compared to some other places. Also anyone who visits it is almost essential to try their machalepi!

Bad experience:( we went to a cafe for a cup of coffee outside, in a great mood, were greeted with rude treatment: 3 waiters asked us to show the corona PCR tests, were nervous and irritated. With such an attitude towards tourists, there is no good for you.

Magical location, perfect atmosphere, good vibe. The best place to drink over a scenic view. We’ve arrived on a sailing yacht, swimmed to the shore and had ouzo at the coffee. Do that.

Great spot in front of Cavo Maris Hotel overlooking beautiful beach areas. Yes, very busy but it was peak season & late afternoon. Must try the local Cypriot Mahalepi, very different than anything I’ve tried before. Rizogalo (rice pudding) also very nice, enjoyed with a strong Greek/Cypriot coffee. Nice vibe after long day at the beach, nice to relax & finish a beach day.

Nice location on the beach and great atmosphere. Greek coffee was nice except make sure you tell them "migro" as they will give you a large, which is just too large. Disappointed with the salad as I had to ask for lemons and they drizzled it with a mustard dressing I have never experienced in Cyprus before. Overall it's an ok experience. Mainly for tourists. If you want more authentic, you can find this elsewhere.

Direct near to the beach with amazing view. I loved the combination of tradition and the nice view. It gives you a cosy feeling. Also very concrete menu and someone can really enjoy a cypriot coffee with traditional sweets. Surely suggest it for everyone!

More of a cafe than a restaurant...only served drinks & dessert, but lovely garden and sea views. So well worth a visit.

I used to love this place but we came here for 2 coffees and they mixed the order up. Mistakes happen however they were completely unapologetic about it, didn’t offer replacement and charged full price for them (7€ for two coffees). I didn’t get to drink the coffee I ordered and i was expected to pay full price for it EDIT: spoke to the bar manager after who offered the coffees on the house and apologized for how this was handled! Fair play to the bar supervisor

The view is just stunning!! Definitely a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy life with a Cypriot coffee and mahalepi. Such a treat for your day.

Fantastic place on the seaside to relax and combined with an afternoon walk on the beach. Only traditional servings

Lovely place with wonderful view. Have to try the shop specialty, the mahalepi. Nice stop on a long walk by the sea.

I love this place. Come here with my husband to enjoy the breathtaking views of the sea with our frappe (cold iced coffee) and we usually share one of the Cypriot savoury pastries like olive pie. They serve mostly cypriot savoury pastry or cold mahlepi and rice pudding dessert with coffees. Wonderful summer place to relax with your significant other and family orientated.

Lovely place. A place to rest & enjoy. My favourite here is their Cyprus coffee & the stunning view.

It has a really nice view with simple traditional goodies. Don't expect to have espresso, only cypriot coffee and frappe. Something to highlight, the staff seemed unhappy.

Lovely place and view, but we sat on Saturday at 18:50, the place was packed with people enjoying their coffees, and we were told that there is an event this evening and we cannot order and have to leave. Found it very insulting considering the fact that other people were still sitting. The guy told us that he is trying to tell everyone else to leave as well…ridiculous, welcome to Cyprus hospitality…and all of this while the island is crying that there aren’t enough tourists this year…I imagine the whole of Cavo Maris hotel being as “hospitable” as that, what a shame that they have such a lovely location…

Serves tasty Cypriot sweets, delicacies, drinks and coffee at a wonderful and impressive location. Chill atmosphere, good vibes, very convenient access to the beach and parking right next to the place. Value for money.

This place is famous for its mahalepi dish so we decided to try it. 1. Beautiful view 2. We were waiting for more than 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. No one from the waiters came to ask if we need something. 3. We asked the waitress for the wifi code and she said that is written in the inside of the cafe. We told her that we can't see it (because we sat outside) and she said with irony: yes, because it's inside. 4. Mahalepi was good enough and enjoyed it. 5. We asked for bill and we were waiting for more than 30 minutes. Personally, I do not recommend this place.

I visit this place often with friends and family! It’s a really beautiful twist on the traditional ‘Kafeneion’. The view couldn’t be better. You see only majestic blue sea and clear blue sky! We usually order Cypriot coffee with either ‘Mahalepi’ or ‘pitta tis satzis’! The service is a bit slow sometimes but the view is worth it! Will visit again many times more!
