Not that this place need another 5-star recommandation but such a lovely restaurant. Cozy/pleasant surroundings, friendly and smiling service. The food tasted fantastic and if we ever visit Cyprus again, we will come back to this place - Thank you for lovely food and good memories :-)

We looked for an Italian restaurant on Google Maps in the area where you can order a real pizza 🍕🍕😋 with lots of cheese and good taste and we decided to go to De Medici Restaurant . We ordered two pizzas take away, they were really tasty and fresh. ** Prices in takeout less than 20% of the menu.

We can’t explain why this place has such a high review on Google. Our visit left a lot to be desired. Typical tourist trap, as it turned out. We ordered two pizzas and a pasta dish, but unfortunately all the dishes lacked taste. Ingredients did not taste fresh, but bland as if they were store bought or frozen. This was the third Italian restaurant we visited during our stay in Cyprus. The quality of food here did not compare well to the others. Steer clear if you’re a foodie, or expect well-tasting food. Here, the food taste is just bland. Probably okay if you just need to sit down to feed the family.

We are here for the 3rd night. The best place in Ayanapa for a lovely night, tonight's music was AWESOME.. thanks a million.. excellent service.. warm welcome.. we will be back here tomorrow..

When looking for a place to eat a wholesome and definitely delicious meal in the Nissi Avenue area, “De Medici” should surely be considered! The restaurant’s vibe was very fitting ,with shades of beige, & the meat options were great! Despite a slight delay due to the amount of customers for the steaks the staff handled the issue with what can only be described as complete professionalism! As a compensation for the inconvenience, the staff was so kind to bring us dessert; a very respectful and much appreciated gesture. Over all, the restaurant is fit for every sort of customers, has great food and above-all and most importantly great service! Would 100% recommend.

1. I live in Cyprus and travel a lot abroad. 2. ~8 years I’ve been coming to this place whenever I am in Ayia Napa. Excellent food, service, timing, attitude, small things etc. Despite it is not a tavern and the place is touristic. I came here yesterday with the guests of Cyprus and it was awesome. The food is still the same fantastic, service is even better. Flavour, portion sizes, money value is better than in many rests in Cyprus and Ayia Napa. All of us took diff dishes, not only pizza/pasta. The taste was “true Italian”

De Medici was the highlight of our trip! Everything was perfect and they serve the best lasagna I've ever tried! The staff was friendly and they paid enough attention to us. Totally recommend!

Food was lovely however ordered a medium rare T-bone and received it well done. Foods presentation is nice and service is great. One down side is the lack of fans even though we were sat in the window it was far too hot to enjoy the meal.

Went last night for our first visit (won’t be our last ) . Atmosphere good , staff efficient , food excellent. We had bruschetta to start , followed by the Angus sirloin which was delicious, tender and cooked perfectly. I had the chicken with spinach and spinach risotto which was lovely, the risotto was so tasty . The portions were very generous for all meals and good value for money . We will definitely be back .

This place was great! We spent a couple days in Ayia Napa and ended up coming here twice. My boyfriend loved the bolognese and I ordered two different specialty pastas and it was delicious. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and so was the entire dining experience. Highly recommend!!

Amazingly good pasta, extremely nice staff, good wine, and nice atmosphere. Tiramisu it's a must try! I don't recommend the pizza...my husband had a Capriciosa and they put sausages on top of it?!

Cold welcome. First day we couldn't go in without reservation. Soup was good but the main was not really. Meat was very dry and the spagetti not have to much flavour but there was a happy end because the panacotta was the best i try in ayia napa

My mother and I visited this restaurant and enjoyed the food without any regrets. There was excellent customer service from the start and we were greeted politely. Presentation, details, and portion of the food were amazing, and I will definitely return. The food was very good, my mom had pomodore chicken stuffed with mushroom and mash potato with vegetables on the side, and I had chicken escalope with spaghetti. I highly recommend it.

Food was amazing! You could feel the Italian taste and the Aperol Spritz was the real one, like in Italy! Only try to avoid when it’s super busy because even with a lot of staff it was a long wait to get a bill. All recommendations for the food!

Very busy which is usually a good sign. Five of us all enjoyed lovely meals, especially the lasagne. Reasonable prices, most dishes around €14. Staff attentive and polite. Overall, a very good experience.

Top notch italian restaurant! Food was delicious and the personnel helpful and friendly. They even organised a special event for my husband's bday (staff came singing with a bday candle on a cake) - all complimentary. Highly recommended!

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. We went 2 in 4 days. Excellent service. The restaurants was always full. Clearly homemade food. With little free appetizers. Good price/quality. Large portions. Food came really fast. + for using paper straws ! The reviews speak for themselves

We where highly recommended to enjoy the real Italian restaurant De Medici as food would be perfect, authentic and great atmosphere as if you would be in Toscana. I can only state that this is matter of taste. The diner we had was good, atmosphere was just fine, not real Italian, and staff was correct friendly. For us not the expected experience, I think we've had too high expectation. Must say it was nice but as frequent 'out for dining' person I was satisfied but not in a way I will revisit.

5 star recommendation** Arrived before the restaurant even opened but they were very welcoming and served us instantly. Pizza is awesome, pasta is delicious and fetta in hot pot yum!! Staff is very friendly and cleaningness level is 10! Plus prices are very affordable 👌🏻
