So far, it's one of the best restaurants I've ever visited in Cyprus. With an amazing old architecture, you really feel the vibe. We had "Meat Meze" and it was really delicious. The staff were really friendly and they really cared about customers. highly recommend here

One of the best places we've had dinner at in Cyprus! We took shrimps in mint and coriander as a starter and it was perfect - meaty shrimps in a refreshing dressing - we wiped the plate clean with the delicious complimentary bread. I fell in love with this starter 🤤 My sea bream was fresh and well cooked, and the moussaka we took was also very good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, made sure we were having a good time and also gave us recommendations on their dishes. The complementary Commandaria in the end of the meal was great as well. Highly recommended 😊

Avoid at any cost! Really slow service, the food isn't that good, small portions, starters really overpriced and flavourless. I honestly don't understand where they get the good reviews from. We felt it was a "touristy trap" place. I came here with my fiancé and my little one a few nights ago as we heard from people in our hotel that the place was good. We ordered mussels saganaki, prawns with mint as starters and grilled sea bass fish to share. Mussels did not come with any cheese and not that much of flavour, nothing comparing with some other restaurants where we had ordered them and they were delicious. They were mussels with just onions, that was all (see pic). Prawns were literally just 4 prawns! And also flavourless, the mint that they come with was not even fresh! (See pic), and they charge 9€ for this! The worst thing was that we had to wait over 45 min since we finished our starters till our grilled fish arrived at the table! We waited for so long that after 30 min I asked one of the staff if the fish was on the grill or not because we wanted to cancel it it wasn't on the grill and leave the place. His answer was: "Of course, fish has been on the grill since we brought you your starters", Well... I'm not a chef but 30 min to grill a fish?? Anyway, we kept waiting and the fish wouldn't come yet...so we asked a second waitress and she told us that the fish was just placed on the grill! So basically the first waiter lied to us!! I wish he would have been honest specially seeing that we had a little boy and he was hungry and extremely tired!! After 45 min the fish arrived and it was good, but then I realized we were missing the chips! So once again we had to wait for the chips to arrive... I noticed that there were not enough waiters for the restaurant, so I wouldn't be surprised if in the kitchen was the same and that's why the service was that bad and we had to wait ages! It's a real shame because the place looks nice but the owner needs to hire more staff members and turn this place over! We will definitely not come back here again and I will never suggest this place!

Brilliant! I m Bulgarian, and this tavern is a very old-scholl traditional country house turned into a restaurant. The interior is authentic, which is rare nowadays. The food - omg, brilliant! We got the tasting menu. The quality and quality of the food for that price is unbelievable. Loved every dish we got! The service was also very welcoming and efficient. Overall, 5 🌟

We went here for early dinner twice to try fish and meat mezes in different days. I read all the reviews beforehand and the place met our expectations in full. Great service, perfect atmosphere and music. All foods restriction were taken into account. Tavvas, kleftiko and lamb souvlaki were very tasty; sheftalia and dolmades- perfect, amazing all natural dips. The mezes seemed not that abundant as we had elsewhere but worth every piece and really enough. In fish meze marinated fried fishes in rosemary reminded cucina di Veneto region, sooo fluffy traditional taramasalata, garlic white wine mussels the best, delicious octopus! There are a lot of vegan options as well- among them- malanzanosalata from charcoal grilled aubergines is to die for. And so comforting liqueur to finish the evening with strong notes of cloves, cinnamon and mandarin. No deserts.. just no chance 😁 Hope to see you soon! Bill for 5 people including alcoholic and soft drinks (couple of bottles of zivania, white wine, beers, coffee, water, icetea) around 140 euro. Meat meze -19euro, fish -22 per person.

We’ve been coming to Cyprus for 20 years and this is the most authentic Cypriot food you will find and it’s coupled with the warmest staff who will go out of their way to make your evening unforgettable. Each dish is so full of flavors. For those that love lamb, the Tavas is not to be missed! Simply out of this world. For those that love fish, try the Sea Bream/Tsipoura … cooked to perfection! For the vegans and vegetarians there is plenty to choose from and the grilled tomato side dish is a must, I guarantee you’ve tasted nothing like it. Taverna Napa really is a gem that will really make an impression on you. It has a unique charm, a building that was partly built in 1918 and a Taverna established in 1976. The best tavern in Cyprus!! Authentic Cyprus cuisine at its finest AND with a modern twist to satisfy all culinary standards. The use of the best ingredients is evident in all plates; nothing beats a home cooked meal and this is what it feels like when dining at this Taverna. We visited many times this place, both meat meze and fish meze were absolutely amazing (and once had vegan food which has nothing to envy the taste and quality), mouth watering, tasteful and every single time you feel you would like to come back for more. Flavours and different spices are offering a dining experience to remember !! Portions are very generous. The service is great at this place and the wine selection is fantastic. Last but not least are the desserts!! Yummy yummy !! This is a place where everyone should go!

Excellent food and ambience, the roast lamb was delicious. The fried calamari was fresh and tender. We also had a half bottle of rose wine and large water and it cost 45 euros for two people. The romanian waiter made the best recommendations.

Was a decent experience. Staff all very friendly. Seems to be a reluctance to clear plates in Cyprus. Really not a fan of smoking in restaurants which was again the case here. Food was ok but not spectacular, the vibe and atmosphere are the highlight for me. Loved the authenticity. Some attention to detail could elevate this place further.

Amazing, would highly recommend, food was delicious, and made by the owners wife the homemade ravioli was to die for as for the tava it was served in an earthenware pot with a huge spoon to get it out,shame we was so far away from there,otherwise we would have been going every night.

It is a place with a great climate of the tavern. It's not a place for a quick meal, it is a place to have a feast! The service may seem a little bit slow, but it allows you to enjoy the starters, talk to your friends and try all meals without hurry. And the food is definetly worth waiting, delicious meat, Greek salads and drinks. We spent really great time there, enjoying our time. Great owner with a lot of positive energy.

Amazing food! We ordered Meze for 3 (we were 4) and couldn't eat it all. The lady, which was taking care of us, was so so gorgeous. The whole time smiling, giving us advices. Her husband is the main chef and she was very competent about the food. The best place to eat it Cyprus !

Highly Recommended!!!! We had fish Meze, so a variety of different fishes (also including a little greek salad). Especially the tahini and the octopus with fava and caramelized onion are simple incredible! We went there at 6.30pm, without Reservation and had luck to find one last table. Make sure to book a table in advance due to most people book a table for the next evening already when they eat there. Thats it 👍🏾

Pretty place, good vibes, starters and desserts are quite small for what you pay, 8,50€ for 7 muscles. But the main dishes are pretty big and filling 😀

We were 2 and share some dishes, it was really really good, great value for money. We tried the greek salad, tzatziki, dolmades, grilled halloumi, ravioli and fried calamari- was a bit chewy. The staff is really nice Go and try!

Great atmosphere and design inside. Food is of high quality, prices are decent. We recommend house wine, which is served in a cooler, so you can enjoy it in a proper temperature. We were offered local cocktail in the end for free. Recommended!

This was by far the best restaurant and meal we had in Cyprus! Napa Tavern was delicious, fresh, and exactly what you imagine when you think of amazing Greek food. My partner and I were searching for a meal like this for several days and immediately after the pita and tzatziki was served, we knew we found it! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are anywhere on the island of Cyprus, it is absolutely worth the visit. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm. We were so happy to be there and it is definitely loved by the locals as well. The feta and tzatziki are a must! I had the vegetarian platter, which was so much food that I now have lunch for tomorrow as well :) My partner had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection. We wish our stomachs were bigger so we could have ordered more food 😂

Very nice and beautiful atmosphere. Relaxing cypriotic music and friendly staff. The food was tasty. We got the chicken souvlaki with was tender, but the marinade was a bit bland. The grilled vegetables were amazing, with crisp and delicious fried potatoes. The salad was relatively cheap, but very small with a single small piece of feta and a couple of olives.

We have been over a week traveling around Cyprus and Napa Tavern was recommended to us by one of the Cypriots we meet in Pafhos. Arriving here we knew we want to try. We have ordered a fish mezze and we were amazed with the taste, quality, quantity, the place and staff itself including the welcoming owner. Now after we are back to continental Europe with my girlfriend we agreed that Napa Tavern was the best place we eat in the entire Cyprus during our 7days trip. It isn't cheap, but we have been even in more expensive restaurants but the quality, atmosphere and taste wasn't as good as here. At some point we had impression that the meals included in our order are never ending, the new dishes were kept coming and coming. The rose liquor given with the bill was unbelievably good too! House wine and variety of seafoods with fishes were no. 1! Watch the pictures from our experience here and put this place as must visit in Cyprus!

We got a recommendation on this place from a local guy, and he was right- The food is just excellent!! We took the meat meze, and everything was homemade and super tasty. The service was perfect (fast and friendly), and the portions are big. We tried some other meze on the island, but that one is definitely the best, and we will be back for more!

The best food I've tasted since I came to Cyprus. The location is wonderful, full of history, the atmosphere is dreamy and the food is delicious. People transmit so much warmth and Marius, the owner, is an exceptional man. I recommend the house wine, the best white wine I've ever tried. Everything is ten stars, not five!😍
