I
really
want
to
give
a
better
rating,
but
I
don't
think
I
can
justify
it.
We
arrived
late
at
night,
and
were
greeted
by
a
very
nice
receptionist
who
was
helpful
and
answered
our
questions.
He
did
however
mention
that
you
can't
get
WiFi
in
your
room
without
paying
for
it...
which
for
an
apparent
5*
is
a
let
down...
it
turned
out
that
the
communal
area
WiFi
would
stretch
to
the
rooms
but
was
intermittent.
The
rooms,
I
found,
to
be
of
a
good
quality
-
again,
not
5*.
The
mattresses
were
a
little
bit
grubby,
but
were
very
comfortable.
Bathroom
was
a
bit
small,
but
again,
acceptable.
The
hotel
itself
looks
great
and
functioned
well.
I
cannot
complain
on
the
bar
areas,
outside
bathrooms
and
showers
(around
the
pool)
or
the
restaurant
areas.
However,
checkout
is
at
midday
and
our
flight
wasn't
until
late
evening.
The
staff
said
we
can
use
the
spa
showers
to
freshen
up...
Great?!
No
-
quite
possibly
the
worst
showers
I've
ever
experienced.
You
had
to
hold
the
shower
head,
there
was
evidently
a
door
on
the
shower
cubicle
before,
but
this
had
been
broken
off
and
a
curtain
was
in
place,
however
when
the
water
from
the
shower
hit
the
curtain,
you
would
flood
the
entire
cubicle.
There
was
no
shower
gel
or
shampoo
and
there
was
a
very
dim
light
in
the
cubicle.
Avoid
the
spa
showers.
Food
was
hit
and
miss.
There
were
four
in
our
party,
All
four
of
us
got
'the
runs'
at
one
point
during
the
week,
and
I
overheard
others
who
got
it
too,
around
the
hotel.
It
was
generally
pretty
nice
food.
One
of
the
party
is
a
coeliac
and
needs
gluten
free
food.
This
is
usually
something
that
hotels
cater
poorly
for.
However,
although
the
options
were
limited,
they
were
good
quality.
The
drinks
at
the
hotel
were
pretty
good
I
found.
The
staff
in
the
restaurants
and
bars
were
really
good,
and
were
again
eager
to
assist
with
gluten
free
options.
The
staff
at
the
reception,
pretty
much
all
looked
miserable
and
as
if
you
being
there
was
an
inconvenience,
apart
from
the
gentleman
who
checked
us
in,
think
his
name
was
George.
The
pool
was
exceptionally
cold,
but
I
presume
this
is
because
its
the
start
of
the
season.
It
was
warmer
in
the
sea.
Location
wise
it's
very
good
with
other
restaurants
close
by
if
things
at
the
hotel
don't
take
your
fancy.
Again,
this
is
certainly
not
a
5*
hotel
and
I'm
struggling
to
justify
giving
it
a
4*
rating
here,
but
it
was
good.
