This is not a 5 star hotel. We paid extra for a ‘better’ room and the curtains were filthy, they don’t open fully. The shower didn’t work the first 2 days of our holiday and all of the water leaks out. The toilet roll holder falls off every time you get toilet roll. The food is absolutely shocking for a 5 star hotel. We chose half board and haven’t ate breakfast or dinner at all. We have a late flight home so late check out is advertised for €50, we asked for this and was told yes we could get it but on the day we’re let down and told no. I have spoken to other people at the hotel and they have said the exact same, this is not a 5 star hotel! The staff are so rude and helpless too. I wouldn’t stay here again especially for the price of it.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at Constantinos The Great. Firstly, upon my arrival at the hotel, I was casually informed that my room was not ready for check-in until two hours after the advertised check-in time. This delay was inconvenient and put a damper on the beginning of my stay. Reception staff were unable to tell when exactly room will be ready and told me that "they are not in charge of housekeeping staff" so we need to come back every 30 minutes to ask for that matter again. No apology were offered at that time. Upon entering the room, I was shocked to find that both bed linens were dirty and torn. It was evident that the housekeeping had not properly cleaned or inspected the room before my arrival. This was completely unacceptable, and it made me question the hotel's hygiene standards. I politely asked for linen to be changed, which was done 1 hour later. To make matters worse, when I attempted to take a shower, I was met with a feeble stream of discolored and dirty water, which eventually clogged completely. I immediately went to the reception to report this issue and seek a resolution. However, I was met with the most disappointing aspect of my stay - the hotel's reception staff. The receptionists were unhelpful, impolite, and dismissive. When I showed a video of the shower's malfunctioning, asking for advice on what to do, the receptionist simply told me to leave the water running for an hour (as I mentioned before it was impossible as the shower was blocked) and return if nothing changed. This response was not only unprofessional but also impractical and unacceptable. When I requested someone to come and fix the issue, the receptionist rolled her eyes and casually mentioned that someone would be sent. The lack of urgency and empathy was truly disappointing. After waiting for four hours since the delayed check-in, my room was still uninhabitable. I was unable to rest after a long journey due to the stained beddings and could not use the bathroom due to the blocked shower. The repair of the shower took half an hour, during which even more dirt, hair, and debris spewed out of the pipes, requiring a thorough cleaning of the bathroom. To add to my frustration, the hotel's reception did not offer any compensation or even an apology for the inconvenience until last day of our stay. Then I found 5 Euro wine and some fruits left at the table in our room with a note... Since that day we also reserved breakfast to our parents room for their anniversary celebrations. As the waitresses didn’t bring any plates and cutlery we had waited another 20 minutes so all our supposed to be hot food was of course cold by the time we got them. Unfortunately, this service was very poorly executed as well. In the history of my 15 years of travelling that was the worst hotel experience.

After being at the hotel for over a week, the food is horrible and hotel experience wasn't great. The room I stayed in was nice but my friends would turn on their air conditioning, but couldn't turn it off. They explained the issue to staff but nothing was done until 2 days later. After that the air conditioning didn't work. We also had issues with the TV which took 3 days to resolve. I would put this hotel as a 2 star at best. There are other hotels nearby that are run by the same company so be aware!!!

It was a nice stay in Constantinos The Great hotel. Hotel is in nice location, next to the beach and nice places for snorkelingand scuba diving. Big swimming pool, few restaurants and bars and spa. Rooms could be a little bit more renovated but view from rooms is incredible ;)

Not really a 5 star hotel standards. More expect a good quality 3 plus hotel or a bottom line 4 star hotel. Great location on the sea. Beautiful clean sea and beach. A lot of water sport activities close to the hotel. Hotel located very close to the high street with a disco and small shops, restaurants. A quick fix for the hotel would be to train the hotel staff (especially restaurant staff ) to give to guests welcoming and professional feeling. Riom cleaning staff could spend maybe 5 min longer per room to allow a better standard of the cleaning. Buffets - standard 3plus hotel. It is ok, however I have to admit a good value for money. The hotel is lacking on nice welcoming atmosphere that would make a stay more memorable. Nice music and professional staff who love what they do could fix it easily.

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to all amenities, and the beach is one of the best on the island. Very clean and excellent service in all areas of the hotel. The breakfast buffet and dinner were also quality fresh and in great variety. Highly recommended for relaxing! 👌

On our arrival, we have been welcomed with a dirty room, lots of hair, and dust all around the room and bathroom. After our complaint, a lady at reception answered that we can pay extra for a better room, instead of offering a new room or cleaning while we are out, just crazy. As well you will not be sleeping in this hotel as you will be able to hear everything through walls and doors. Loud during the night and in the morning. Breakfast, every morning same choice so pretty boring. This hotel is definitely not 5 stars, 3 at the most. Pros: good location and indoor pool.

I visited the hotel this summer with my family. Overall it is decent. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with an amazing sea view. The whole beach was visible from our balcony. The breakfast was satisfactory, although I expected more for this price. The bar outdoors is not acceptable for a 5-star hotel. The cocktails were not good and the environment around the bar is touristy and cheap.

Very overpriced for what it is it's more like a 3.5 * mainly due to the food that lets it down! Some staff are friendly and helpful some are not. We got married here and paid 4k for 8 nights for four people (not including the price of the wedding venue ) The Italian restaurant on the beach in the hotel complex is really really good 4.5* The buffet food 3* at most! There are supposed to be 4 restaurants to choose from but they are always closed and you have to book the night before to get a table so we only ever in 8 nights managed to get a table at one (the Greek one) food was ok but again definitely not 5*. Lack of entertainment or atmosphere best thing is water polo and the guy who runs that is great. Maids don't clean up at all just make the beds and change the towels which is fine but you'd probably expect more for 5* Location is good! Beach is lovley! Pool bar has burgers chips and sandwiches but after a few days more variety would definitely be good! They won't give you bottle water until after 10:30 am which is not good! All in all I'd say it's worth half the price we paid and if we had paid half of what we have we would feel like it was worth it but at the price it is we wouldn't return to this hotel!

Loud music outside every night coming from the hotels entertainment area. People screaming and shouting outside after midnight. Even if you close windows, still the sounds makes it impossible to rest, relax or sleep. The hotel claims to be a five-star-hotel. That ain't however true. At most two stars or maybe three. Breakfast is good. The staff is nice, kind friendly. Location is superb. View from the hotel room over the sea is outstanding. If you are in your twentiees, no children and a real party king/queen, well this is a place for you. But if you have children, wants to relax and have some quality time - well find some other place ...

Unfortunately we were unable this time to actually stay in this hotel but on our previous visit in May we found the rooms to be good, the staff helpful and the location fantastic. The guys behind the outside bar Andreas and his team gave a great service no one ever had to wait long and there was always great banter going on. When in Cyprus this September even though we were staying next door we loved the atmosphere round the bar so spent quite a bit of time there at the Constantinos. Thanks all

Location and setting is amazing. We had a front sea facing room as we did last year and the views are amazing. Sadly even though there have been many reviews about the food particularly in the evening still nothing has been done. So much so that in the whole time we were there we ate out every night and to be honest you are spoiled for choice in the area and at very good prices for exceptionally amazing food. Breakfast and lunch at hotel are sufficient as serves a purpose on half board basis as you can swap dinner for lunch instead. Rooms could do with some updating, as they are becoming tired. Cleaners are worked hard but you are lucky if you can get your room done before 4pm and on two occasions they were not done till 5pm which is not ideal if you want to get ready to go out or have a small nap. Adele in the spa never fails to dissapoint and is a credit to the hotel, always happy so full of knowledge and will always put you right. Stan who does the water aerobics is brilliant and always makes time for you and Just a thoroughly decent guy. Although we have read many complaints about the staff being rude we never found this once and always made time to say hello to all on front desk on a daily basis. Guys if you can get the food right particularly in the evening mainly to make it hot then it can only improve things. Some refurbishment on the rooms would be great where they are looking tired especially when you are paying more for the front rooms.

While I had a great stay, this is a 4 star. Neg: The 2 tiny elevators are inconvenient. Music till midnight every night besides Sunday. Service is understaffed. You will get your drinks when you are 90% done with the main course. The restaurants selection is confusing at first. Pretty much 1 for breakfast/ lunch the other for dinner. The rest is ala cart. You get to do once and have to register day before. 2 are on the street 1 in the sister hotel next door. 2 more at the hotel. All inclusive is weird as some things are time restricted and few locations/ bars are extra/pay. Also no service to your sun bed, you get your own drinks. Everything was clean enough but the 2018 restoration is a joke, more of a landlord special, just quick paint over everything. Pros: everything is super close. If you have a hard time walking this makes it like a 6 star. Both eating and the beach are a 2 minute walk. The beach is great. Sun beds were always available which is huge as no need to wake up "save" them. Overall I would recommend but make sure you get a 4 star price. Go by Google reviews as there are 4 star hotels that are near 5 🌟 reviews.

Lovely hotel we paid extra for a front sea view and that was well worth it. There are a few niggles though we went half board and you have to pay for water and a glass of wine with dinner or lunch also tea and coffee not readily available you have to pay except for the supply in your room. Entertainment not great but that is due to covid however plenty to do just outside of the hotel. Defo a 4* as advertised on Jet2 but has 5* here in Cyprus? Housekeeping bit slack the glass in the lifts was filthy and a few other places. Pillows not hotel quality!. Overall a very relaxing week just needs a bit of improving

The hotel has a real nice entrance-lobby and a great location! One of the best beaches is 2 mins away! The room i ll give it a 4 star rating because although the bed is king size and the room has lots of plugs and nice lighting, the bathroom could be better! The hair dryer is not very good! Also i would like the cleaning to b better for example upon arrival i found lots of hair on the bed and the floor whilst I'm assuming they changed the bed sheets. The small veranda is also very dusty. They don't replace your body lotion, shampoo etc everyday unless u request it! The breakfast and lunch buffet is quiet good, lots of options and they even catered for our 8month old and made food with no salt(many thanks to the chef and amazing Mrs Eva) the staff there the majority is really helpful especially Mrs Elena, Mortaza and Azit were exceptional! The big negative is the elevators! Theres two and sometimes one is not working! Overall i would give it a 4 star rating!

Location is good. The hotel is really run down - says it was renovated in 2019 but the quality is appalling. Wobbling railings, curtains falling down, cracks and holes everywhere. Some staff are amazing but most have no idea what's going on - speak little English or Greek and seem miserable. The worst thing however is the noise. The rooms aren't soundproofed and the music blasts out until midnight. We paid extra for a family room and ended up above a wedding - the music was terrible and kept the kids up for hours. Complained to reception - their advice was to tell the manager when we left.

Constantinos the 'once' great. Firstly let me say, the views and location of this hotel are phenomenal! Gorgeous! You can see that once upon a time this really was 5* Sadly those times are gone. Staff. Mixed... Some staff absolutely fantastic! Couldn't help you more. For example the young fella and lady bar tenders. Always smiling.. Always happy to help. Then others that are actually quite rude! Abrupt or clueless! Room. Room initially looked OK. Ever so slight closer inspection... Very tired, exposed pipes, wires, stained mattress, pillows smelled. The noise I'm the room! I know it sounds nit picking but you can hear everything! People dragging furniture around, the lifts, your neighbours. It's VERY noisy. Food. Breakfast buffet was OK, fried eggs you can't get wrong. Lunch and dinner.... Dry meat. Chewy meat. Great dessert though! Drink. OK, the lager tasted off to us. Going to local pubs the local Kio was glorious... At the hotel... Stale. Spirits, pretty good. Stick to gin and vodka! So all in all... A bit disappointed. Definitely no where near 5 star. My room only got made up once! No record of my booking at reception. We ended up eating out every day. The local restaurants really are amazing. Hopefully they turn it around.

We had booked another hotel which was not as expected. We left there and came to here, the staff were helpful especially Maria on reception. They were friendly and nothing was too much. There was lots of choices of food and constantly replenished. A fantastic experience.

Big rooms, sprawling public spaces. This is a beach hotel on a grand scale. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were lovely, especially the local cheeses, the fresh fruit and veg, and the omelettes to order.

I recently stayed at Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel and would recommend it. The hotel has a lovely Greek theme, as suggested by the name, and I particularly enjoyed the cats and plants around the hotel. The entertainment was also great. The room was nice, and the bed very comfortable, although I did notice some areas that could have been cleaner as there was quite a bit of dust, additionally the bath tub was stained and personally this lowered the hotel from 5* to a 4* I highly recommend getting a massage at the spa - it was a highlight of my stay. The food was also amazing, and I say that as someone who can be picky. Every meal was a hit, and the staff were always willing to accommodate my requests. The gym was well-equipped for a quick workout, but it's worth noting that you can't work out in a bikini and must wear trainers at all times. Overall, I would definitely recommend Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation near the beach.

Stayed at the beautiful hotel next door to this one but was unfortunately kept awake until the early hours due to thumping loud music being played. Apparently there are weddings during the week and no curfew. I don’t know how families with children at the hotel coped to be honest. If you want to party into the night, stay in Ayia Napa.

A wedding occasion slated for Friday but arrive d on Wednesday and extended till Sunday. There was never a dull moment for wife and I. The food was high class healthy and sumptuous. The staffs were all smiling to provide every guest with whatever service required.

I really want to give a better rating, but I don't think I can justify it. We arrived late at night, and were greeted by a very nice receptionist who was helpful and answered our questions. He did however mention that you can't get WiFi in your room without paying for it... which for an apparent 5* is a let down... it turned out that the communal area WiFi would stretch to the rooms but was intermittent. The rooms, I found, to be of a good quality - again, not 5*. The mattresses were a little bit grubby, but were very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small, but again, acceptable. The hotel itself looks great and functioned well. I cannot complain on the bar areas, outside bathrooms and showers (around the pool) or the restaurant areas. However, checkout is at midday and our flight wasn't until late evening. The staff said we can use the spa showers to freshen up... Great?! No - quite possibly the worst showers I've ever experienced. You had to hold the shower head, there was evidently a door on the shower cubicle before, but this had been broken off and a curtain was in place, however when the water from the shower hit the curtain, you would flood the entire cubicle. There was no shower gel or shampoo and there was a very dim light in the cubicle. Avoid the spa showers. Food was hit and miss. There were four in our party, All four of us got 'the runs' at one point during the week, and I overheard others who got it too, around the hotel. It was generally pretty nice food. One of the party is a coeliac and needs gluten free food. This is usually something that hotels cater poorly for. However, although the options were limited, they were good quality. The drinks at the hotel were pretty good I found. The staff in the restaurants and bars were really good, and were again eager to assist with gluten free options. The staff at the reception, pretty much all looked miserable and as if you being there was an inconvenience, apart from the gentleman who checked us in, think his name was George. The pool was exceptionally cold, but I presume this is because its the start of the season. It was warmer in the sea. Location wise it's very good with other restaurants close by if things at the hotel don't take your fancy. Again, this is certainly not a 5* hotel and I'm struggling to justify giving it a 4* rating here, but it was good.

This hotel sadly has big problems with employing African staff in housekeeping. On arrival the room was clean but one of the beds clearly had not had its duvet or pillowcase changed from the previous guests. To get it changed was problematic and eventually it was changed on day 2 but only after much problem. On day 2 our towels were taken away but unfortunately we were left no clean replacement towels. Again a battle and long wait to obtain these. On day 5 still no change of bedlinen. On approaching the African maid we were told although our room was on her list to change she had to go home at 15:30 and it was time to go. I then asked her for the linen and did the job myself. She hadn't cleaned the bathroom or floors for yet another day. As extremely frequent travellers' this is the worst standard of Housekeeping we have ever experienced. The standard is far far higher even in establishments of a very low star rating. These African workers are really very much spoiling these businesses.

Stayed at this Hotel in October 2023 I would not consider this 5*. The rooms and carpet were old and worn with our shower being rusty and the carpets unfortunately looking run down and damaged. The food was great ordered a bacon and egg sandwich one morning to the room this was delivered nearly ice cold. The staff were unhelpful seemingly to of confused the phrase "no task too big" with "Every Task is too big". I'm not expecting to be waited on hand and foot but simple questions about allergies or food options were just met with a sorry I don't know and direction given to who might know. All in all I unfortunately wouldn't recommend staying here not with plenty of seemingly better hotels with walking distance of this one.

The hotel was lovely, the room had a view of the sea. I was there for a family wedding. I felt the wedding coordinator was poorly dressed. The food was not great, but I did get enough to do me.

The hotel claims to be 5 star but I assure you it is far from it. The rooms are basic, not the cleanest I have seen by far. The pool has scum around the edges and should be given a thorough deep clean. The sun beds are old and dirty and the food. Well, lukewarm at best and tasteless. I wouldn't even rate this place as a 4 star. I have stayed in better 3 stars. Shop around. It's not worth the money

Terrible. Was accused of not paying on arrival when I had paid through their application. Was given a room with dysfunctional door handle. Was left waiting for ~45 min to be told the door wasn’t fixable and there was no other room except a ridiculous ground floor service room. Was told I could not get a refund or another room until 0930 the next day (it was 2300) and to “wait there on the couch” by Giorgos. Thankfully a kind Porter helped us open the door. As I entered the room, found SKID MARKS in toilet, DUST on fixtures AND HAIR in the cupboards. Was woken 3 times before 1000 by innocent service staff (do not disturb not available). On checkout was repeatedly embarrassed about not paying, again. They then tried to take the funds from my account three more times until I blocked them. Useless.

I was there last year and was disgusted at the service. Make up all over our bathroom and their working people smoking on the stairs on the fire exits. Demanded to talk to the manager and he didn't even say sorry. Go somewhere else this summer.

Not sure how this place has got so many good reviews. The following is based on the claim that this is a 5 start hotel. The room (sea view) is quite basic, small tv, limited features and the shower’s heat indicator was mixed up (cold was hot, hot was cold). The food was ok, the dinner is a self service buffet with the taste of everything average at best. I mean for a lower star hotel this is fine - but not for a 5 star. This is more like 4 star. Staff wise, some were friendly-ish, but a lot weren’t interested. In fact the cleaner was probably the most friendliest. Comparing this to a 5 star hotel in Limassol (Amathus) - wow what a difference. Amathus’s staff were all super friendly, the food/restaurants were award worthy and the facilities amazing. I’d recommend staying in Limassol and just visiting the east side.

Worst experience of my life Good was basic and not even warm when you went to eat, you pay 5* and get the experience of a 2* at most! Online says you get the choice of going to other restaurants included in the package, you go book and are either closed or full….when spoken to management and staff completely ignored. That also goes for other members of the staff, if they are not ignoring you they’re most likely on there phone. Drinks…watered down to basic options but the words from the staff on reception “tip for better drink quality” such a joke after filling out nearly £1500 for 1 week of hell Room was not cleaned when I had asked it to be also they gave me dirty towels in the room which is just diabolical to say the least Last day staff where just laughing at guests also then shouting among themselves.

The hotel is located at the heart of Protaras. With lots of places, amenities, entertainment facilities (restaurants, water-sports, beach bars, shops etc.) The turquoise sea is a blink of an eye away. Amazing sea view, tidy beach front covered with lots of sun-beds at the grass and at the beach, pleasant hotel staff always smiling and with polite and welcoming attitude make feel as truly their guest. Modern interior, comfortable rooms. Overall quite pleasant experience. Recommended for young couples for a relaxing getaway, and for families with kids. -1 point Could be better for a five star hotel. I was invited as guest for a day. Cleanliness level at the toilets could be more thorough, no staff available at the pool bar even the place wasn’t so crowded. Parking for guests non existent, had to park at a driveway of the underground parking. Same as other tenants of the hotel.

beautiful hotel, beautiful scenery and stunning location. Not sure why so many negative comments? Our room was beautiful and we hit so lucky with our stay. Food is beautiful and staff are lovely. The only think I would change are the rules around the pool, the lifeguards do nothing but sit with their headphones in, chatting away to each other. Kids using the handrails as slides, would only be addressed by the lifeguards once it was too late, i.e kids had got bored or someone had got hurt. Lots of respect to the guy doing activities, a happy and lovely person to have around the hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay.

The hotel is nice. Would mark it as a 4 star as I come from dubai and that’s the real 5 star. The food in the hotel is useless and tasteless. Staff are amazing. Water isn’t included in the room surprisingly and complimentary things not included (iron etc) other then that. It’s beautiful location

This is not 5* hotel. It’s maximum 3* stars level! Disadvantages: - Rooms are pretty much old, bedclothes is old and dirty as well. - Food is also 3* level. Some members of personal in restaurant are really aggressive, it’s not even possible to choose the table where you want to sit (even if it’s a lot of free tables). - In the evening quite noisy because of animation on the first floor and because of parties in neighboring hotels and bars. - very expensive hotel Advantages: - However location of hotel is really nice, just in front of maybe the best beach in Cyprus. Perfect sandy beach with crystal blue water👍 - receptionist Maria, very professional and kind person, which will help you survive your holiday in this hotel - really nice view (if you’ll get a right room) - Free parking - piano in lobby Resume: I probably will not stay here again. Tipp: Take a look on Flamingo Paradise hotel if you want to stay at this area.

Fab hotel, we went mid October so towards the end of season. Staff were extremely welcoming, hotel location couldn't of been better. Rooms were lovely with a lovelt beach view. Plenty of choice of food and drink, fab last minute hotel. Would visit again. Thanks for your hospitality

3 stars at most…. Worst time to go in the year is November. Rooms are not sound proof, all night you hear doors and people. The only thing that was worth is was the fact the beach was literally a minute walk away. The senior staff are rude and standoffish, communication gets you no where. It’s more of a senior resort. There was a cockroach in the toilet, the whole hotels AC is together, so even thought it was still hot in the rooms and humid you can’t turn on the AC cause they turned it off from the main switch and the heater is the only option, even thought the port in the room has AC and heater option it doesn’t matter, you don’t have control. Like I said 3 star hotel at best.

Just came back from staying 7 nights All-inclusive in this hotel and I am giving it top marks 5 All the staff were as friendly as can be, treated us like family and made our holiday one to remember. Nice rooms with a nice view, lovely food with a good atmosphere throughout the day and night. I will be going back again for sure Thankyou very much

👍👍 Used Blue Spice on several occasions for both breakfast and dinner during week's vacation. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and the food was delicious, well worth a visit.
