First time staying here and we were very pleased with our stay. This hotel has everything. Entertainment for kids, spa gym bars restaurant and above all, great service. I love the fact that the beach is seconds away should you want a break from the pool. The breakfast was great. A wide selection on offer regardless of the time you turned up. The room was clean, and comfortable. Would definitely go there again.

Fantastic holiday on 20th oct 2022 for 10 nights . We had an absolutely fantastic stay here and our kids aged 6 and 3 were entertained the whole time we were there as the kids club was excellent and ALL the staff were all so accommodating and helpful , from the management , right down to the waiters and cleaners and everyone . Great food and facilities and excellent spot for the local beach . The gym is also decent and better than in some 5 star hotels we have stayed in . All round a great experience and we will visit again !

Best Hotel ever! All the staff are so friendly and they will go above and beyond to make your holiday wonderful. The hotel is very clean and handled Covid very well. The food is lovely, the location is great and the views are amazing! I will 10000% be going back here for the 3rd time :)

Great hotel. Very nice amenities, comfy beds, and very accommodating staff. The hotel is full of families so you are likely to experience screaming children in the pool area by day, but it’s very nice if you have a car and can explore other areas of the island then come back to relax in the evening. Protaras is quite close with lots to do in that area, and the beaches nearby are stunning. Would return.

Really good hotel. Clean rooms and the eating area, many tasty options for breakfast, staff is helpful and amiable, allot of seats around the pool area. A small beach with sand for kids, and enough space to place a towel. Around the hotel you have allot of shops and diversified restaurants and bars to eat and drink. Fair price for what they offer.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Ideal for a lovely get away. Lots for kids or couples. The rest of the resort is a lovely stroll away along the coastal path. I have never seen cleaner water or beaches

Great beach hotel in Protaras. With crystal clear beach but careful there are a lot of rocks! The Room were nice, a little small but they were pretty good, cleaning services were nice and i would like seeing something more in a mini fridge (not only water) or some snack when i was entering the room. That would be a good addition. Pool was kind of small for that many people jn the hotel. There was a pool bar, that was great. Buffet was amazing! One of the best buffets i have tried with many kinds of food and snacks. Great hotel with good prices for a family trip.

Loved this hotel. All staff are are amazing and it's really clean and nice . Downsides are can't get a bed as everyone reserves them from about 5 am . And bed for 3rd person is just a wonky little bed on wheels and for the price I don't think that's really OK. But on the whole we would come back

This hotel is in a great location with a beautiful beach ! We had an amazing room -2 bedroom with a kitchen and living room perfect for our family of 4 ! We hired a car so we had the flexibility to travel around the island and head out to eat. The only complaint I have is our air con was not working and it took them 5 days to get it looked out so most of our time in the room was uncomfortable especially when trying to sleep in the heat hence why I have 4 stars !

Had a lovely first couple of days/night. The hotel and staff are lovely. However, wasn’t aware there would be a football academy and their families to arrive which made the stay a bit of a nightmare. Children running riot all over the hotel with no control, the guests getting priority over other visitors. I think the website should have a post on to say that these things are happening as it has completely ruined our stay and we wouldn’t have booked, had we known it would be this chaotic.

Just returned from an 8 day stay. Our room was changed to a sea view after our 1st room wasn't very sound proofed (thanks again Angelia). The room was clean and the bed was comfy without being too soft. The food was enjoyable, themed every night, the catering staff were fantastic and welcoming especially Christos, Jason and Comfort. We only saw evening entertainment due to travelling a lot In the day and George on his guitar had to be the most enjoyable part. The hotel was always clean and kept to high standards, great location due to being a 10-15 minute walk away from the noisy area. If we decide to return to Cyprus there would be no hesitation to use this hotel again. Thank you Hotel Cavo Maris for a lovely holiday. Jamie and Claire

I rate the hotel with 5 stars as it's absolutely worth the money. The rooms are spacious, the food is good, the staff is friendly, the views are stunning. They have a great little beach with water sports and a couple of bars around where you can grab a snack or a drink. The location is the best by my opinion, it was very peaceful during the night. It's only 5 minutes drive from the center of Protaras, away from the noise, 5 minutes from Fig tree beach, 12 minutes from Nissi beach. The one and only thing I'd say needs improvement is the soundproofing of the rooms. Everything else was excellent!

Amazing hotel. Definitely deserves 5 stars. The team are so kind and helpful, the best service given at all times. Food is delicious. Cleanliness in emaculate. The pool is very clean, deep enough for diving. Many l, many sunbeds to choose from. Not far from protarus, we hired a buggy for the week from Ham- Yams. Which was a lot of fun. Views are lovely. Entertainment was very good. The beach outside the hotel is really nice, has a restaurant too. Lifeguard, pedalos and water sports.( very rocky, take sea shoes) Thankyou so much Cavo Maris team. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing hotel. Tasty food. We loved the area full of blue clean waters. Hotel services were great and kids enjoyed the playground where they could play. Swimming pool great, both the kids pool and the larger pool. La large pool has different levels of depths. Plenty of sun beds.

Great hotel, a lot of things to do. Beach is nice, pool too! Rooms are spacious and clean. Stuff is very friendly, but what is the best part of it for me is food... food is AMAZING! Dinners are awesome, every night completely different, themed options, and soooo tasty!

Average hotel. Stuff are ok. Rooms are not great, especially for the price. The only good thing it has going is its location. Very nice little beach. Cafe prices of the hotel are extortionate. Avoid altogether.

Ay first the hotel itself looked great, but when we got our room it was filthy! Stains on the floor, dust, realy bad view to the mini golf (we couldnt open the window cuz there was always people) and we could hear when somene flush the water down the toilet from other rooms! We talk to reception and they sent cleaning that dosnt speak english and didnt know what we wanted. We added money to move a room. The location of the hotel is not very good if you want to look around the areya (and you dont have a car). Finally, the only nice employees were the lovely bell boys.

Nice hotel with good view, the rooms are not clean, we had blood on one bed when we came. They forgot to add the infants bed when we first came. .every day they cleaned our room only at 15:30.. our baby girl couldnt sleep normaly Pool is nice however they have a really bad smell of sewage. The beach is really nice however the equipment in the beach like chairs costs money.

My favourite Protaras resort - Great location, right next to two lovely little beaches that are perfect for young families. Nice pool and good amenities. Our sea-view room was spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the Mediterranean. Beautiful at sunrise.

We recently stayed at the Cavo Maris Beach Hotel and were impressed with its well-thought-out infrastructure, featuring six restaurants, four bars and cafes. We opted for the premium all-inclusive package with dine-around privileges in the à la carte restaurants. This package allowed us to enjoy breakfast in the main buffet restaurant, lunch in either the main restaurant or the taverna, and dinner in each of the six different restaurants once per six days. The food variety, even in the main buffet restaurant, was excellent. Breakfasts were the same each day, but the wide range of options available allowed us to create unique combinations for ourselves. The à la carte restaurants each focused on a single cuisine, such as Greek/Cypriot, Italian, Mediterranean, seafood/sushi, and steaks. The food was generally very tasty, and we would definitely recommend trying them out. The hotel has a very nice pool, as well as a separate small pool for children. There are also a number of activities available, such as aqua aerobics and water polo. For October, there were plenty of sunbeds available, so we were able to easily find a spot in our preferred location without having to rush or fight for a spot. The beach is rather rocky, but there is a sand bay beach located a short walk away. The bay itself also has some rocks under the surface, but there is a nice area with a sandy bottom for those who prefer it. The beach is public, but the hotel has plenty of sunbeds located close by. For cat lovers - Cyprus in general is the place with more cats than people, which caught us by surprise. So if you're cat lovers as we are - you'll get an opportunity to play with, pet and of course feed lots of furry friends on the hotel territory and beyond. You don't need to search for them, they're literally everywhere :)

Location just perfect, you can walk directly to the beach, which is a small and calm bay. We were there in the beginning of June and although not all rooms were booked, you can imagine how crowded it can get during the high season, we would probably not come back during that time. For mid/low season it's okay though. Rooms maybe a bit outdated, but very clean, so nothing to complain about. Lots of activities liker water sports you can do around but the whole area is designed for British tourists (lots of pubs and restaurants that have very adapted to the British mass tourist's diet). Breakfast was OK, huge selection and I would say everyone will find something!

Beautiful hotel , relaxed atmosphere and wonderful staff. This was my first time staying in this hotel as for the past few years I had stayed at a different hotel close by but I decided on a change this year and it has proved to be a fantastic experience and one I’m still enjoying as I still have a few days left. I highly recommend this hotel which has many facilities and gorgeous views.

We had an amazing experience a 3 star Hotel with the services and facilities of a 5 star hotel! The room was spotless with details beyond expectations❤️ The view unbelievable and staff was polite and with a warm smile!

We arrived at this hotel mid day today. The facilities are clean and appears to be geared towards families. Check in process was a bit slow since we wanted to do a room upgrade but other than this so far so good. The swimming pool is very nice, The water in the beach area is super clean. The hotel also has several restaurants and a spa. All in all it's a nice place and I would come again.

Polite staff, excellent massage treatment. But carpet in the room was very dirty, we found the waste from previous visitors under the bed, plus the bathroom had a constant bad smell. The rest was average.

We stayed here for a week in October, and if I could give it a 3.5 I would as it’s definitely not a 4 star review. It's just slightly better than average. When we arrived the reception staff was busy doing something and clearly frustrated, which came across in her attitude, however once she had finished she seemed fin. The rooms are a bit dated and could really do with an upgrade, but they are fine for what they are - just basic. The bathroom felt like it wasn’t cleaned properly, and could definitely do with a revamp. Overall the staff were friendly, particularly in the restaurants. We had lunch at the outside bar and it was just ok. The chicken was bone dry, and the village salad was tasteless. It was just cucumber, tomato, halloumi and courgette with no flavour or dressing, so we ended up going next door all week to another restaurant for lunch. However, the breakfast was great, and it had a nice selection of food, and some fresh produce. You won't go hungry here! The outdoor amenities are great, and right on the beach and the gym is decent too. The only issue we had was on the first night. There was a drunk Russian that had been locked out of his room and spent 2 full hours banging and kicking on the door to get in, from 2am to 4am. We opened the door, and whilst he said sorry, he kept going. There were lots of families with children so I can only imagine how angry they must have been. My issue was that when I called the reception there was no one at the desk so we had to listen to this! We spoke to the staff the next day and clearly we weren't the only ones who complained, however this wasn't the hotel's fault

Good location, Good stuff in restaurant, but quite aggressive stuff in reception, couple of times I was forced also to explicitly ask to clean our room because the bulb "Make up my room" was not working. And for food there is lot's of fried stuff, if you don't like fried stuff then it will be sad for you. Forgot to say that you have to pay also for beach benches

Earlier this month I stayed together with my wife and 3 year old daughter at Cavo Maris and I can say from the bottom of my heart that it was an amazing experience. Not only you get a great variety of tasty foods, but all other facilities were all we could expect from our holiday: the garden with the minipark, kids playground, bars and restaurants, beach and not to mention the water which was amazing. Still, the strong point of the hotel is the staff, which is very friendly, communicative and willing to help you whenever there is a need. In the last day we had a special situation, and the staff (special thanks to Stiliana) dealt it with great professionalism. Only for this attitude alone I can sincerely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely faultless. Our 9 days holiday we’re amazing. All the staff are very helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Great food. Amazing choices of meals from the various restaurants. Great pool games. I can’t wait to go back.

Another fantastic stay at The Cavo Maris, the staff go out of their way to make sure that you have a good time, the door to our balcony was not locking properly, we reported it to reception and it was fixed within 15 minutes! The breakfast is fantastic, there is something for everyone and they never run out of anything unlike other places. The pool is great for young and old alike and the beach has everything you need for fun or relaxing. The Argo Restaurant serves wonderful food and the service is attentive but not intrusive. A mention for George on reception who is the font of all knowledge and so very helpful! We will be back.

A nice al inclusive hotell with a good staff that does there best to make tha stay a good experience. The food was well made but was lacking more interesting flavors. The wine and drinks was good but not outstanding. The pool and rekreation area was well maintained but the waste removal at the bins close to the sun beds could be better. Al in Al the Cavo Maris was a good hotel for a relaxing week.

Children (<16yo) are not allowed to use the heating pool and gym. The mezonette room is <2stars, dust, old, 1 very small bathroom for 4 people. The smell is awfull(. I guess there is no ventilation due to construction problem. The fan, one of the lamp was broken. The bathroom in standard room for 2 person is much better.

Well, what can I say. It was my 4th time in Cyprus but the first time I've stayed in the hotel. And this hotel is amazing. Service, location, rooms and food are amazing. If you travel with family, kids or older people this is a place for you. Totally recommend.

The hotel with the best sea views and gardens in Cyprus. Spacious inside and outdoors. The "jewel in the crown" of The Cavo Maris is The Kafeneion where you can enjoy coffee overlooking the rich, blue azure sea in the shade with a sweet breeze caressing your body like the gentle touch of a pretty woman.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. The staff is polite and the buffet is various and tasty. The rooms are clean and they offer a wide range of activities especially for the kids. The coast is simply beautiful and leaving was hard as we wanted to stay longer. Attention to details and to covid protocols. We will visit again with great pleasure.

Nicely distanced from the main hotel boardwalks with a great seaside location. Well designed and maintained with a good standard restaurant and 3 others providing really high quality food. Excellent staff.

Staff are lovely, polite, helpful. rooms are clean but not soundproofed so you can hear your neighbours talking, flushing toilets, showering, kids playing in the pool or in the tennis courts. it's not quiet at all. bed and pillows are comfy if not a little hard. only get one sheet, no duvet (found a blanket in the wardrobe - should have looked earlier 🤦‍♂️) AC is quiet and works. bath plug didn't work but shower pressure is good. food is ok - not bad but not exceptional. pool is clean but freezing this time of year. still managed a dip. friendly lifeguard. UPDATE Have been moved to the top floor to try to overcome the noise thanks to Jet2 for helping out and for hotel for offering. Had a lovely salad by the pool. Huge portion. And the Spa massage was top class. Highly recommended.

I love Cavo Maris! I have stayed here twice and it is always so good. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the food is good, the setting is beautiful, the spa and massages are excellent. I love the kafenion!
