You wrote a review for Pier Pizza 11 minutes ago 1.0 star rating7/28/2022 How Not to Do Customer Service: Okay, I will admit that I made the first mistake. I ordered a medium pizza with anchovies on my phone (via Door Dash) for delivery but the order went through before I was able to place a note that the anchovies were only to be on one-half of the pizza. As soon as the order went through, I realized my mistake, so I immediately called Pizzapier. I was placed on hold by a member of the staff - waited 5 minutes before I realized no one was going to pick up my call. I called again, had to wait for about 3 minutes before another staff member picked up. I told him my issue, and that I needed to change my order to half Cheese / half Anchovy. He said "No Problem!". Great! I get a ping from Door Dash in ten minutes that they are on their way. Great! Door Dash gets there, and when I bring the pizza up to the kitchen, I open the box, and, of course, the Pizza is all anchovies. I immediately call Pizzapier, and after another 3-5 minute wait (they're busy , I get it), the guy who told me it was "No Problem" answered the phone. I told him that the order was prepared wrong, and I needed a replacement. He told me that after my phone call, he told the kitchen but they said it was too late as the pie had already gone in the oven, and there was nothing to be done. (Did they call me back to tell me that? No.) I told him that was unacceptable (I am a multiple repeat customer), and he answered that by hanging up the phone on me. That, of course, was more than annoying - so I called back, this time I got another Staff Member. I explained the problem to him and he said it wasn't their problem, it was Door Dashes. I said "Your guy told me it would be taken care of and that there was 'no problem', so at that point, imho, its Pizzapier's problem". He answered that by hanging up the phone on me too. Seriously Pizzapier, thats how you do customer service? On a side note, the Pizza with Anchovies was good (but my 8-year-old daughter wouldn't eat her half [which was the only reason I ordered today]), but the french fries we ordered on the side were soggy. Pizzapier, please give us a reason to give you another try.

Looking for a new place on our pizza crawl, [a different place every other visit], we were lucky enough to find this place. Right away we liked the young man behind the counter who was very patient as we checked out the menu thoroughly and thoroughly pleased with all the amazing selections. We decide to get the Jamaican chicken pizza and we chose a good one. The pie was nice and thick with plenty of toppings on every slice. The Jamaican spice for me was just right, spicy enough so you know what you ordered without burning a hole in your tongue. The pie was even brought over to us with plates and napkins. None of that number/name calling stuff. We were treated very well. It was nice to sit down in a clean, calm atmosphere where we could just enjoy the the beautiful day. This place deserves many return visits to try a lot more of these pies done right.

Love ordering from here but after my recent experience I will never order again. The delivery man was given a cash tip and never gave me my receipt or anything to sign….I just figured it was because I paid online or whatever. Then when I checked my bank account a few days later I realized I was charged an additional $10. The delivery guy took it upon himself to add MORE gratuity and forge my signature. I called and spoke with a man who tried to make me feel like it wasn’t a big deal….hours later the manager called to confirm and sent me this picture of the receipt. Definitely nowhere near my signature or how you spell my last name. She said they’d refund the $10 but seemed very insincere and like I was a bother. Fraud obviously isn’t a big deal to them and who knows how many other people this has happened to. If you order from here don’t use your card and pay cash only!!

Hands down THE BEST pizza I have had in a LONG time. We had a CYO pizza, chicken bacon ranch, and cheese sticks - all was amazing. The crust was crispy and chewy to perfection, cheese was perfectly melty, and toppings were all fresh and tasty. Prices are great too - will definitely be going back!

First time trying Pizza Pie-er was disappointing. We ordered a classic Margherita and their Francesca pizza, plus hot wings and jalepeno poppers. The sides were OK, nothing special but not bad. The pizza is some of the worst we have ever had. Crust is floppy and soggy like it was undercooked. There was very little flavor to either pizza. One box arrived caved in, with cheese stuck to the top. The driver arrived 10 mins past the window provided and called to have me come out and get the order when we requested contactless delivery and text preferred. To top it off, it’s expensive! I will not be ordering again.

The vegan pizza is some of the best I’ve had!! Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you like vegan pizza. The pizza is better than plant city in my opinion, and fairly priced.

Lover their pizza! I order their pizza all the time :)My favorite is the Brimp. Cajun Chicken & Buffalo Chicken are delicious as well! If you are a meat eater, try their Steak Bomb!

Such great pizza. And, unlike Domino's, they know how to find your house year after year. The pizza tastes incredible with the fresh veggies. Incredible. Lastly, kudos for the environmental awareness. Great business. Great pizza.

Called well ahead for pick up. You can be busy, but hot tip, a “hi, just one moment” goes surprisingly far, especially when the alternative is standing awkwardly at the register for upwards of 10 minutes minutes while 3+ people straight up pretend you’re not there. I literally had to call the store while I was inside, wait for the other person on the line to finish, and talk on the phone in front of the employees face to even be acknowledged?? Wild I asked 3 times for sauce with my wings and they still forgot it… yeah I’m not coming back here lol There’s a ramen place right next door that Maps didn’t even show me! Passed it on the way, will try there for lunch breaks I guess

One of my favorite pizza places in Rhode Island. Love the pesto pizzas. Very allergen friendly as they accommodated my boyfriend’s dietary needs seamlessly.

Their pizzas are amazing. They are pretty generous with toppings and I love that. I try to order from here whenever we want pizza.

Pizza Pie-er is great. There are just enough tables, and it is really cozy. They have a whole bunch of options for a really affordable price. My pizzas have been good both times I went. I also got fries, which were great. I did delivery one time, and wait time is advertised. The driver was friendly, and helpful. Great place, great atmospher, great employees.

Best pizza in Providence. There is a great variety of sauces and toppings from extremely healthy to indulgent and everything in between. Plus, you can get gluten free crusts!

Providence’s best pizza! The owner prides the business on using the freshest ingredients. The most vegan options I’ve come across at a pizza restaurant period. Customer service was phenomenal. Hidden gem in my opinion!

My wife and I graduated from Brown University in '94 and' 95. We still talk about the pesto pie from Pizza Pieer! So fricken good. Haven't had it since then, but it is seared into our minds! Wish you delivered to Hawaii. Eat the pizza here.

There’s tons of Pizza places here in Providence. That being said Pizza Pie-er sets itself apart. I can’t say it’s #1 because that’s subjective, but it is unique. The pizza is always fresh and never greasy or overly burnt. This is the only pizza spot I can eat half a pie and not feel overly full or sick after. The foldable boxes are pretty neat too.

I've been a patron of Pizza-pier since I was 7 years old (in the 80's). Still the same delicious, high-quality tasting food. I got a large pizza and chicken tenders. Delicious, although a little pricey!

Nice staff and charming little waiting/dining area. The food was good, even the gluten-free pizza!

Very good pizza, but unfortunately they don't always honor the promotions they send to your email for their specific location. Thought management would be able to figure out a solution but they didn't even understand their own promotion.
