Great place to get into nature in the middle of a busy town.

This is a great place for a family reunion or to celebrate a birthday or to simply park your vehicle, grab your bike and jump on the amazing bike trail! For me though, it the fishing. There’s also some neat little paths and beautiful woods. Negatives? Small parking lot, there’s been a few instances where there was no parking because of a gathering of some sort, birthday, graduation, grandmas out of the nursing home, I don’t know who’s to say. Also I’ve seen a few times what looks like someone trying to set up a camp to live at. Sorry people, not in these woods. Head out to our national forest for that, you can “camp” for 15 days a month then you must move your “camp” a distance away and you can do it again, it’s amazing! But again that’s in placing like Colorado or New Mexico or anywhere a “National Forest” is. No overnight stays here either, they lock up at sunset and unlock at dawn. But that doesn’t mean you can’t come over, use the portable bathrooms, wipe off your worn skin and take a nice nap in you vehicle. Been there, made the best of it, amazing memories honestly. “Only when you loose everything can you appreciate anything.”

Beautiful walk, none stop. You have rest stops along the way if needed.

A lovely place with an easy wooded trail to hike alongside the river. Made even better with a friend to talk and walk with. Several deer, ducks, and woodpeckers were there too.

They were doing tree cutting and didn't have signals any where very dangerous specially for the little ones on a nature walk . We saw how the tree was just falling and made a Big Crack very scary what if it hit someone WORKERS NEED SIGNAGE ⚠️⚠️⚠️

On 26th Street, just west of 17th Avenue, it has a small parking lot and one pavilion with entry for kayaking and other river-type sports. A paved trail that stretches west beyond 25th Street and LaGrange Road runs through this location. There is more room to enjoy the grounds, more room to park, and two pavilions further west along LaGrange Road at Brezina Woods.

Canoe launch needs work maybe some wood planks so you don't have to get mud up to your knees when launching but convenient location and beautiful run to the next paddling spot

Beautiful trail connects between Brookfield Woods from the East and Brezina Woods in the West. If you come by before sunset when weather is cool you WILL see deer 🦌
