Before you get to salt Creek Trail, you pass beautiful mansions, and once you get to the trail, they are nice walks with flowers along the way. Beautiful area!

I love that we have multiple parks in Chicagoland where you can enjoy nature, have social gathering, and exercise. Organized, clean, and safe. Always open on time. Long trails with picnic area. You will enjoy alone, with family or friends, or with your dog. I am very thankful for the great work that resulted in this beautiful escape to nature. Thank You!

I come walking here all the time, it’s very impressive that members of this community dedicate their time to preserving this wooded area. There are a few trails that all lead to one another. It’s mostly clean woods, and you can rent the picnic area for bbqs too.

There is much to do here. Watch out for the Forest Preserve Police, they are out to raise revenue.

The fall colors are in high contrast at this park. There's a 2 mile big loop as the main trail that brings you through stands of Oak and Maples that strike you with the yellow orange and red fall colors that everyone loves. There's open areas with picnic tables and other connecting trails that will guide you along the banks of the Salt creek.

I just discovered these parks and can't believe I've lived in the area this long without visiting them. It's a fabulous place to run, walk, or ride you bike.

I enjoy coming to this trail as the road is well-paved, has that refreshing smell of nature, you can hear the birds chirping beautifully, and the occasional encounter with deers crossing or just behind trees. Just an FYI though, as of today (06/13/19), the road on North Edgewood Avenue to 31st street is under construction (refer to uploaded picture), so the bike path leading to the north side of the trail is inaccessible from there.

Nice paved path about 6-7 feet wide in most places, with curves that sneak up on you, if your first time there. But the scenery is plain woods, nothing special at all. Its best trait is that it is the longest ride in the area, from Oak Brook 's eastern edge to Lagrange's western edge.

Beautiful and well-maintained trails. Was great birding while I was there, too -- lots of migratory songbirds!
