It's
rare
I
find
myself
leaving
a
negative
review,
however
after
my
less
than
good
experience
at
Baymont
I
felt
it
was
worth
writing
one
for.
I
booked
a
room
for
Sunday
night
online
around
3am
this
Sunday
morning,
looking
for
a
bed
to
rest
in
for
a
few
hours
before
continuing
my
journey.
Unfortunately,
even
though
I
had
booked
for
Sunday,
the
check
in
for
my
reservation
was
not
until
3pm
the
following
afternoon.
A
simple
mistake
that
should
be
easy
to
resolve.
It
wasn't.
I
called
the
hotel
and
Priceline
and
explained
my
situation
.
To
cancel
I
would
lose
all
my
money.
To
get
an
early
check
in
would
cost
me
$40
more
on
top
of
almost
100
dollars
for
a
room
I
only
intented
to
occupy
for
5
hours
by
the
time
I
got
in,
and
they
they
wouldn't
be
able
to
accommodate
me/check
me
in
until
9am.
Because
the
reservation
date
was
for
the
same
day,
they
said
they
couldn't
change
the
dates.
After
going
in
circles
on
my
phone
I
decided
to
show
up
and
plead
my
case.
I
explained
I'd
been
on
the
road
for
many
days,
I
was
exhausted,
and
I
asked
if
there
was
any
way
I
could
get
a
room
to
rest
and
they
said
they'd
have
to
book
a
completely
new
reservation
for
me
to
get
a
room.
Another
$100
for
a
5
hour
stay.
Out
of
exhaustion
I
agreed.
I
was
very
calm
and
polite,
even
though
I
felt
like
I
was
being
screwed.
I
after
2
hours
of
hassle
I
finally
got
into
my
room
at
around
5am,
with
2
bookings
for
a
one
night
stay.
Parking
lot
was
full.
Found
a
spot
in
an
adjacent
business's
parking
lot
and
made
my
way
to
my
room.
It's
40
degrees
outside
and
about
58
degrees
in
the
room.
The
AC
was
on
and
set
to
68,
so
I
turned
the
heater
on,
and
find
it
blows
nothing
but
cold
air.
Turned
the
system
off,
reselected
heat,
waited
10
more
minutes,
nothing
but
cold.
Cool!
I'm
too
tired
to
make
a
fuss
about
it.
I'll
sleep
in
my
coat
and
let
them
know
the
next
day.
Decided
to
take
a
shower,
the
water
was
lukewarm
at
best.
Awesome.
Feeling
defeated,
I
wrapped
myself
in
blankets
and
fell
asleep.
4.5
hours
after
I
had
fallen
asleep,
at
1030am,
housekeeping
wakes
me
up.
Says
the
room
needs
to
be
turned.
I
told
them
I
booked
for
2
nights.
They
said
it
only
showed
me
for
one
night.
I
grab
my
belongings
and
head
to
the
front
desk
around
11am
(time
of
check
out,
6
hours
after
my
arrival),
where
I
was
informed
that
I
needed
to
check
out
of
my
room,
and
wait
4
more
hours
until
3pm
to
check
back
in,
even
though
I
was
booked
and
paid
for
2
nights.
Awesome.
I've
never
left
a
hotel
feeling
so
drained,
unaccommodated
and
uncared
for.
I
mentioned
the
room
has
no
heat
and
they
said
they'd
let
the
owner
know.
Hope
they
do,
in
the
mean
time,
I
wanted
to
let
everyone
else
know
how
my
stay
was.
Thanks
for
the
polite,
inflexible,
unhelpful
service,
clean
room,
cold
shower,
and
cold
room.
Next
time
I
want
an
experience
like
this
I'll
save
my
money
and
go
camping
by
a
river.
