BE CAREFUL. I wanted to cancel because it was too crowded, and honestly just uncomfortable to workout with that many people around you. This is one of the gyms that will completely take advantage of a contract and charge unnecessary fees. Don’t fall for it like I did! I was told I would pay $10 a month, and days later on the APP I find out that they charge $50 dollars every few months to “maintain your rate.” That’s the dumbest idea ever. DONT SIGN UP! I had to pay a $40 dollar cancellation fee after only going a few days to work out.

As a corporation, Vasa is terrible with some shady policies and some very unprofessional employees save a few. Just so you have an idea, I arrived to the gym one day with a friend and there’s a chalk board with “Push- up contest” written on it. I ask the guy behind the counter for more info on this contest and he responds, “ what push- up contest?” I replied, “the one right there.” (It literally was a few feet from him and at the entrance of his workplace.) He just responded, “Dude, they don’t tell me anything around here.” It’s hilarious but I’ve had many other experiences with girls behind the counter not even knowing what a squat belt was when I asked them for one. Anyways as a gym at this location..... It’s a small gym but it has almost everything you need. Gets crowded sometimes but not often or like the huge vasas. They do need to start switching out dumbbells because a lot are broken and there are plenty heavy ones but not as many sets of between 20-30 pounds.

Worst gym ever The monthly fees are a lie. They charge different amounts than what they tell you. They charge you $150 to open an account which is outrageous. Then they tell you it's $10 a month, when it's actually more like $15. And they charge you $50 a year "to keep your account active" because paying every month doesn't mean your active. They also charge you a $25 cancelation few. The support desk is a joke too, so good luck with them. Worst customer service I've ever received. So it's $215 for your first month 🤯, and that's just for the basic membership, which means you can only go to 1 vasa.

The people are great, the trainers are so experienced and knowledgeable. The best gym I've been to... But the manager Tristan is a nightmare and doesn't know how to run a gym and it shows.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are for the workers, I've been going here for over a year and Ive been there longer than most trainers. If you wanna work here, just don't until she leaves.

This particular Gym is small and overcrowded. I've gotten some good workouts in but the hidden fees they have are deceptive. When you price the fees out over the year your actually paying more like 25 dollars a month. For that money you should just go get a rec center membership

It’s a pretty oof place. Lots of hidden fees to only pay “$10” a month, including a $50 yearly “low rate locked fee”. So you’re more like paying $20 - $30 a month if that’s how you’re looking at it. Gym is decent and that but nothing fancy. And cancellation fees are racked. They have to squeeze as much as they can out of it.

The gym is decent but there are a lot of hidden fees. After 2 months they charge a $50 fee to prevent your rates from raising in the future. There is a fee for cancelling or for downgrading to a cheaper membership. Just kind of feels like they try to take advantage of you.

It's really not a great gym. It can get very crowded and the equipment is in pretty bad shape. They only have a few racks for squats/deadlifts and one of the platforms has been broken for at least a year. The redeeming quality is that it is cheap and the only gym in the area. However, be aware that the $10/mo membership is more like $15 when you include the ~$55 rate guarantee fee they charge you each year.

It can be pretty busy, but if you time it right you can get the equipment you want without having to wait at all. I will say, they only have 3 squat racks, which is pretty disappointing. The membership is cheap and you get access to a variety of things so that's a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I use gyms for weights, so this review is from that perspective. It's lovely that they have three squat racks with deadlift pads, and one fixed rack, but it would be better to have more. The weights situation feels like lifters are second-class citizens. I'm assuming most patrons are not there to squat and deadlift and such, so that's appropriate. It's a small gym, and there's only so much room for stuff. I'd just like to be able to get a rack with minimal wait time. Also, the plates looked like they came from the same Goodwill store as the ones at the AF gym, chunks of rubber missing and such. Weight is weight, and maybe I'm being a bit sensitive about such things, but weightlifters have feelings too, you know. I get that the margins on a gym are probably pretty slim after operating expenses and payroll and whatnot. And if they had unlimited resources, they could deliver the gym of my dreams. Hey, it's cheaper than buying your own equipment, and it gets you out of the house!

This review is for the Saratoga Springs gym. I went at 6am. Really nice gym and great staff. Was greeted in a friendly way upon arrival and departure. The reason for the two stars is purely based on the fact that every treadmill was occupied. Nearly every weight machine was being used, so had to make do with whatever was open so forget targeting legs or chest, etc unless you want to wait who knows how long between sets. Went to try free weights and much the situation there. Dumbells are in heavy use so couldn’t find a pair in the weights I needed. Finally found a squat rack so got some work in. Bottom line, they’ve sold too many memberships and don’t have enough equipment for the morning rush. I’ve heard from the others it’s the same in the evening but haven’t tried that personally. Fortunately I’ve the option to use other gyms so I won’t try Saratoga again, hoping the others are better. If not, I’ll cancel membership and go elsewhere.

The price is fair and so far ny experience with the staff is good! However, the quality of this location is awful. Most of the dumbbells are broken and dated, some pairs are missing, or mismatched. The machinery is scattered, and, like other equipment, it’s worn down and in need of maintenance.

Great place. Just wish they warned you the tanning beds are powered by nuclear energy. I've never peeled like this. Seriously don't compare to the average tanning salon. Guess I should have asked why the Mr had to sign a waiver for 8 mins. If you have any skin untouched by the sun start low!!!! Edit I visited a different vasa and their tanning booths are normal. Provo is seriously broken down.

The provo location is convenient for me and I love their cable/pulleys because they are the ones that have an individual pulley for each arm, which I like because I can target muscles better, however, some of the equipment is in dire need of replacement. The rubber grip on the lat pull down bar is super loose and my forearms are already struggling to keep up on pull day, so that does not help. The dumbbells are also long overdue for a replacement. They are well worn and it is often a hassle to find a matching set, it takes a bit of hunting to find the desired weight as well. Considering this, I feel like their price is a bit high including the down and the rate lock. Long term it will be cheaper than the rec center, but yeah those are my only issues. Overall a decent gym but the other Vasa locations I've seen are much nicer.

Decent gym. Nothing else to add to the conversation besides what has been said. Not enough power/squat racks, all the weights are always out of place/ don't have a clearly marked place. Many of the weights are broken/mismatched. The bars are old and have lost their grip. Some machines sit broken for weeks. Some staff members are friendly and greet/say goodbye, but most of the time they all stand around talking to one another. Not sure why the gym needs 6 staff members at a time... On the bright side, normally less busy than the Orem location. That's about the only bright side

Definitely not the nicest gym you could go to, but I appreciated the low monthly cost for going to just that location. Some of the equipment has had its day and could use replacing. It’s always very busy here especially in the evenings, so you have to wait to use equipment frequently. I liked going here when I lived nearby, but I’ll probably go elsewhere now that I’m further away.

Had a membership and primarily used this location for about two years. Always dirty and bathrooms were disgusting! Finally had enough and decided to switch to a better gym. Also, like other reviews say, be aware of the fees. You're going to end up paying a bit more that what you think you're signing up for.

This is my first public gym membership, and I wasn’t aware that public gyms are kinda a scam, thanks for helping me figure that out vasa. I heard it was 10$ a month for a membership, and signed up just to find out that they occasionally charge you 50$ for no reason, and that in order to cancel you have to pay more than it would cost to pay for your subscription for like 7-8 months. Gym was always super crowded and I could never get to the machines I wanted to use, but I’ve had to pay for a membership for 6 additional months regardless, because the cancellation fees were so ridiculous.

This vasa is great! They have all the fitness equipment you could ask for! The employees there are so friendly and kind! (Collette, Aubrey, Harrison, Tristan, Danny, Sam, and Kendal are just some of the few:))

I recently joined this local gym and have been impressed by their excellent customer service. The staff is friendly, always ready to assist, and create a welcoming atmosphere. It makes my workouts more enjoyable knowing they prioritize a positive experience for members. Highly recommended!

Low ceilings, college meat market feel, so as a mid age 40 something guy... I don't feel very comfortable. Great employees, great machines, building is old but overall good place

Initially the staff was kinda meh, just there to gossip at the front desk. In the last two months or so newer members working go out of there way to greet you in the morning and make you feel welcome. Really puts a positive spin on starting your day off on the right foot.

There is nothing special about this gym. In my opinion, they are overpriced. They are not open on Sundays, which makes no sense to me even considering the local demographic. The monthly fees are such that there is no excuse not to keep the gym open on Sundays for those who wish to attend. My last complaint is their cancellation fee. I was expected/forced to pay $92 to cancel my membership, and I had the basic membership. Wild.

While this gym is conveniently located just 3 minutes from my home, I would not recommend it as the ideal fitness destination. The low ceilings limit air circulation, resulting in a less-than-pleasant odor. However, the lack of crowds is a distinct advantage.

I’ve been going to this gym for a year now. I’ve never reviewed it, but today I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with a newer employee, Collette. I did an in-body scan with her this morning and oh my goodness — she was so sweet! Even though my results were not what I was hoping for, she was very encouraging and positive. Even though the printer malfunctioned she still went through my results on my phone with the app. I hope everyone that goes to this gym has the opportunity to meet and interact with Collette because she is amazing.

Very convenient location. If you go at the right time it's not too busy. Not enough equipment though. The front desk staff is the absolute worst. If want to be serenated by employees screaming at the top of their lungs to their own music during your workout, this gym is the place for you. Seriously uncomfortable.

There is no value in a vasa membership. No matter what time I show up, every spot in the gym is occupied. You are at capacity and need to either expand or stop offering memberships. I'm going to have to cancel now and find somewhere else to go. The bathrooms at all of your locations and I've been to most of them are always in dire need of a deep cleaning.

This place is a scam. The gym is fine. The contract is the sketchiest thing. I have had the membership for a few months and am about to move to a place where there is no vasa. Went to cancel and I have to pay $150 to cancel no exceptions because it is in the contract. That is so ridiculous. They were also extremely rude on the phone when I was trying to get help cancelling. So be careful before you sign anything here. Also just know if there is a rate of $10 a month it’s actually a lot higher because you have to pay a 60 dollar yearly fee.

I like the price of Vasa but I'm not a huge fan of the gyms quality. My issue with this Vasa is that it's not large enough to accommodate everyone that goes here. There are only 3 squat racks and not enough benches for everyone either. They have this fitness cinema which seems like a huge waste of space. I never see anyone using the fitness cinema. Overall I love the price and the staff is nice but it could better utilize it's space.

VASA is a really good gym. I haven't been able to use its facilities because of injury, but I was once a member of this VASA location for a number of years and it was a great experience. Now that I'm beginning to attend VASA again, it doesn't look too have changed and I'm looking to having another great experience.

Consistently overcrowded (to the point of discomfort) and 50% of the machines are broken on any given day. In addition to what is closer to $15 per month there is a $50 fee collected from each member! I recently canceled my membership after having seen 0 improvement over the last few years! EOS fitness in Orem offers the same prices but it’s brand new and open 24 hours 7 days a week!
