It is a small museum, but it keeps a lot of Pucallpa, its carvings and things related to the traditions and mythical and ethnic characters of this city, the owner, Mr. Agustín, is very recognized in the city due to the length of time he has lived here, He was a sculptor and he created his carvings in Renaco, a tree native to the jungle. Attention is from 9 am to 12 noon

He is my uncle. His work has been recognized for his 50 years as a sculptor and recognized by the city of Pucallpa. Pleasant memories as a child with my uncle and the whole family.

To learn about the culture that Agustín Rivas has left us, the house museum is super interesting, but it is somewhat neglected, it needs to be improved so that it becomes widely known. But if you visit Pucallpa, it is a must-see place.

Very good artistic pieces, more care should be taken with the maintenance, it is dusty and there are moths, they will destroy the wood carving, in addition to the way in which they display it... there is a lot of value there that they are not taking care of it

This Museum is located in the city of Pucallpa, recommended since you can see the seramicas of the jungle, their stories and beliefs and you can buy your food right there, the museum is not very big. But it is very interesting

Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez, a wonderful, tireless artist and the most loving shaman I have ever known, a man who captured the mythology of the Amazon in his wooden sculptures. The small museum houses a number of his works, which are now distributed all over the world. Here you can admire them and immerse yourself in your experience. It's lucky that I was able to be here.

👍👍 I asked my brother-in-law Mass. The magnificent church was a statue of Jesus Christ hanging on a huge cross.
