Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasteful and delicious. The wait staff was extremely helpful and cheerful for us to be there. They helped us out with somewhere to eat even though everything was reserved for a later time. They asked if we would be okay if it would be just a bit over an hour for us to be able to stay and of course we we're okay with that as long as we we're able to stay and eat! The potato soup of the day was amazing, we ordered the daily special steak dish and was so amazing and the venison filets. The main course was just so great, my girlfriend and I kept eating off of each other's plates. Then we had a cream puff with vanilla and chocolate and that was great. Definitely better to share than have one for yourself, had to finish it all off with a coffee that was absolutely delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Excellent food, perfect place for a family gathering. Kids menu and entertainment ( coloring pages with crayons, lollypops) Vegetarian friendly and English language menu. Very attentive stuff and servers. Loved and enjoyed every minute!

One of the most authentic Bavarian restaurants and beer gardens in the area. After decades, I have never been disappointed. Famous for their “Windbeutel” cream puff desserts, my favorite is the “Schwarzwälder-Kirsch” (Black Forest). Any time of the year is great, you will not regret it!

The food here is fantastic, providing a delicious Bavarian experience. Would recommend having a desert but they are big enough to share.

Great service and great food! Didn't have a reservation and they managed to work us in which was much appreciated. The food is mostly traditional bayerisches food and everything was cooked to perfection. It wasn't cheap, but I am definitely going to return

Excellent, traditional Bavarian food and very popular with the locals. A great place to experience local food and culture. Very kind and friendly owner and staff. They do have an English menu on request and some of the staff also speak some English. Be sure to check it out!

Nice and relaxed place

It was my very first experience of Bavarian dish and I can say every thing lived up to my expectations of a delicious dish. The beef salad and beef rolls stood on top of my favourites and the desserts were very well designed and prepared as well. The taste, the presentation of food and all the factors of a complete meal were taken into account. The place has both inside and outside seating places. The outside seating tables are close to river and there are trees and sun umbrellas to seat n relish the food under the shade. Nice food nice people.

I came here with the International Team because my German colleagues invited us for a team dinner. And we have never been disappointed. The food was delicious and very appealing. LIVE COOKING! Schmackos :D Local producers offer the majority of the ingredients, which can be sampled. Also worthy of remark is the superb service; even when under duress (peak season - many visitors), the service was always friendly and responsive. Chapeau! We booked a reservation and got the next table because we intended to eat during the midday rush. So, if the weather is great and it's the weekend, you should do that if you want to sit outside. The menu had a very unusual design that was worth reading all the way through ("loose children get a double expresso and It was worth reading the entire menu because of its unusual layout ("lost children get a double expresso and a puppy" warning parents to be cautious;-) ). Tasty and authentic cuisine in the heart of an abbey. Our entire meal was delicious, and the staff was really welcoming. I heartily endorse it!

truly delicious food, cozy atmosphere and very friendly servers. the reason why I'm not rating a full five stars is because they have fewer vegetarian dishes on their menu than they used to have.
