As a coach here maybe I'm a little biased, but at the end of the day this is all about the children and there love of football. All the coaches here want the same thing, and that is to give kids a good safe place to learn the game. As a parent, you can't ask for much more. Woodkirk does what most clubs try to do in that regard but add the festival in the Summer and the Fireworks display in winter, this is a great asset to the local and surrounding communities. Bring your kids and check it out for yourselves.

A good friendly club. Plenty of age group teams. The volunteer staff go out of their way to make the club a success. The annual 'Woodfest' music festival is a great occasion as is evidenced by the turn out.

🫤 The ponds are located at the northern end of Tarnfield park , just off the main footpath around the Tarn itself. There is a sign which indicates a good diversity of Flora and Fauna ,however I get the impression it’s a bit of a neglected area. The footpath leading in next to the sign is ok and wheelc...
