Amazing place to hang out especially for dinner... very courteous and enthusiastic staff members...Very lively place. They were all named after the characters of Pirates of the Caribbean movies series... Loved the food! Best part was the taste which is worth the price paid!!! DECENT place to hang out with family as well...Since they strictly don't allow people with inappropriate dress codes. That just felt more comfortable with the family... Highly recommended!

Great brewery and warm staff. Their in house beers were great, but the food was okay, although the staff is very very warm and helpful. We asked for pad thai with red Thai curry and asked for it to be not spicy at all. When the food arrived, it was very spicy, but the staff took the dish and mellowed it and gave us back the dish without any spice. had a good experience overall

We went to this place couple of weeks ago .Definitely a nice place to visit and hang around with your friends and family too . Good ambience with good service. Must say, the food here is really good. I particularly liked the "prawn". Wow very special food ever I ate. We love the sample test tray method for beer. All in all, its a fun place that has good food and a decent bar menu. We really enjoyed lot here and spend more time. One of the best place we visit . I want to mention a special wish to the staff. He is very gentle, he explained very good and he maintain humble manner. I love the way he served in my table and I like his warm gesture. It's also one of the reason I loved the place .

Brewery with live music and food in Pondy. Very easily assessable from white town. We tried the beer taster tray with which we can taste all 6 of their beer flavours. Their menu has a description for all their beers. They also have a variety of cocktail. Food was also good. The ambiance of the place was pleasing. It is usually full during the weekends and they have a entry fee too for weekends

Lovely place to come enjoy good music and good beer with your friends and family. There are two sections, one is more or a calm family friendly area were you can enjoy private conversations with your group. The other section is more open and is where you want to dance, drink, have a blast with your friends. Food was tasty and waiters are very fast even though the place was packed. They make sure tables are clean, bathrooms are clean and you are a happy customer. I definitely recommend it.

Well, to be honest I wasn't sure what to expect here. We have heard good stuff about Catamaran, and it lived up to it. The beer was good, the food was yummy and the live music made the ambience much cooler. Before you head out to the place, book your table first. We didn't do this and got the bar stool, not that I'm complaining. Would visit them again next time I'm in town.

Experience here was mixed. We tried a lot of dishes along with the beer tasting tray . They are really famous for their brewing. The tray was really amazing ,I personally liked the coffee one . Ambiance was great -4/5 But meanwhile I was disappointed because we were charged for live concert happening there . We were forced to pay the entry fee of the live concert for entry of the restaurant. That wasn’t great because whose ever singing was really very bad . For this I would rate -2/5 But the food was nice . They have smoking room also . They a projector for watching matches …..etc . Overall experience could have been better . Outstanding brewery in Pondicherry! Nice ambience, attentive staff, nice selection of craft beers, not too many but a nice selection and really really nice food, everything we have ordered was delicious. Special shout out to Selva who kept our 3 years old entertained whilst we were enjoying our beer tasting and to VJ who was our waiter. We came here for lunch and would highly recommend midweek lunch time for families, nice, quiet and attentive staff. Food to accommodate the little palate too. Overall 10/10 experience for us 🔝

I went here with the architects that built the place. I walked in and went "woah" for a minute. I did not expect Pondy to have upped its game to have a decent brewery like a metro city. Their graphics design team is highly talented and has a keen sense of humour. Loved their presentations, logo and more! I am a vegetarian and a tea totaller and I absolutely loved the place and the food. The starters, mocktails and main courses were fantastic! I even think that during the day it's a great place to work from. Will definitely go back for more!

A must visit brewery bar if you’re visiting Pondicherry. Their craft beer was good. Food was tasty, and the ambience was good too.

Everything was perfect. We had naadan kozhi briyani ( MUST TRY ), karuvepillai milagu chicken, beer testing tray, calamari fritters, whiskey sour with rosemary and passion fruit 🍹 and some shots! Everything was great!

Only brewery in Puducherry town . Food is excellent. They have a sample beer tray ,of which few were good for my palette ,the one which tasted similar to appyfizz ( apple cedar I guess) didn't go well with me . Kashayam (cocktail) was good especially if you have some cold-like symptoms ;) we were on a stormy day in pondy . The ambience is nice . Evenings r crowded and the ambience is excellent . Try to prebook your table if you are barging in on weekend evenings . Price of 🥃 drinks are bit high ; i thought Pondy being an UT will be lighter on wallet

A wow place in the most happening city. Freshly brewed 6 varieties of Beer is served with sample of each with 100 ml that helps deciding which one to hang out and chill out with. The taster tray is also charged with ₹349, but worth tasting for the group to pick right one. Food and dishes are little priced high but worth with ambience, DJ and music around.. A must try in Pondicherry

Awesome food. Both starters and main course was excellent. The Thai red curry with prawns was very good. The beef roast parotta is a star dish. The calamari fritters was a great starter, we wanted to order more of it. It was good dining experience.

Loved the ambiance here, gives the brewery vibes for sure. Menu is very interesting and the Pizza was amazing! Ordered the Beer tasters and most of them were pretty good, especially the Apple Cider. Overall it was great and the pricing is very decent.

They have brewed beers here with around six different flavours. I tasted all of them and I liked the Apple Cider, Indian Summer Whit. They didn't give any complimentary snacks with the beer. Ask them if they have any. Food: Is good. Ambience: is excellent. You will get a great atmosphere here.

Ambience is alright. But some sea food will truly surprised me. Very rich in taste. Loved it. Rock music performance was great too.

After the famous Cafe's of Pondicherry, CBC was one of the most happening palaces we found. Great for group dining with its Ambience, Music, Staff, Service and ofcourse the Food & Drinks. Biriyani was too mild to suit our taste but the Chicken and Fish starters suggested by the staff were simply superb.

We had the beer tasting tray. It was not free (around 370) but they provide 100ml sample of 6 beers. The beers are great. We also had the beef kizhi parotta, too good.

Lovely ambience. Great service. Six types of mellowed beer and a delicious mango cider. We were a pack of six and tried everyone of them. Taste, fizz, colour, they ticked all the boxes. It is not just about beer, food is also finger looking good. I have been to quite a few micro breweries around the world and I will rank CATAMARAN high on the list. We were lucky to meet the owner and the chief brewer. They love what they do and that is what you taste. If you have even a few hours in Pondy, this is a must visit place. We are looking forward to the next visit. Before, I forget, we were there for our anniversary and the 'melt in your mouth' cake they gave us was literally the icing on a great evening.

By far the best restaurant/brewery I have been in Pondicherry. It has awesome food, a great brew and amazing cocktails. Besides the taste the presentation of food and cocktails is amazing. They have live music playing in the afternoon time as well, the music is both soothing and pumping the spirit. Pros: 1. Food and drinks are well curated. Must try Nethil Fry 2.0 2. Live music and band — just the three of them but it was like a whole band 3. Comfortable seating 4. Friendly staff Cons: 1. Parking — always an issue in Pondy 2. Though the seating is amazing, there are couple of them which are at half floor height. If you have toddlers you must pay at most attention so that they don’t fall off and get injured — though not a negative for the pub it’s a caution for young parents

Pondicherry 's own micro brewery serving around 6 different beers ranging from bitter to pale ale. Brewery is located on the third floor. Beer is good with a wide variety of bar snacks and food options. Interior is fairly done but city views. Reasonably priced and a place to check out.

I loved the food and the brews. But their ambience and set up is all over the place. A bunch of is from Chennai visited it last night. But couldn't enjoy the food brews due to bad ventilation and poor air conditioning. They have these upper bunks which are cool by the way but there's no air conditioning and it gets very hot and humid. As much as we wanted to enjoy the food drinks we couldn't because of the ambience and poor set up.

Ordered a beer taster which had 6 different brew beers. I liked this taster idea added in their menu as it gives an idea for what beer to order next. Out of those 6 types of beers, I liked Belgian wheat and cider. Momos were okay in taste. I loved the complimentary papad that they served with chutney 😍 The ambience is pretty chill. One can also see the beer barrels through glass walls behind the beer counters.
