The location of this place is right on the Promenade. It has a small balcony which looks out over the Promenade, this same balcony has three tables so it gets filled up really early. We went early and found a balcony table, which looks out over an amazing view. Food is great. We ordered crab cakes, calamari, virgin mojito and blue lagoon drinks. Not only was the food amazing, it was also reasonably priced. This whole meal cost us 1100 inr. Service was prompt despite the fact that we entered when the kitchen has just started operating. Would definitely recommend

This is really a more than 5 star place for relishing your lunch and dinner. First of all the location is awesome at the promenade beach. You can enjoy the meal by viewing the awesome view of bay of Bengal. They have choices of continental and Indian both. And both are awesome. Grilled chicken steak is must try here as per my recommendation.

Would recommend this restaurant, best view and place to be when in Pondicherry, given the condition it’s slight rainy or cloudy day. This was on card for long, In our last trip when we came some work was going on, so missed. Food is good and customisation is also possible. Would recommend, tiger prawns and noddles with drinks.

Food is average. Happy with the customer service. Ordered fish with red wine sauce which I enjoyed but not by the ones who accompanied me. Also had Schezwan squid. Not at all happy with recipe they used. My expectations were a bit high.

This is a very good restaurant right on the shore of the rock beach. They have enough seating space, with additional space on the balcony where you get the sea view. They have a good menu which comprises both indian as well as continental dishes. The Prawn Tempura was the best of the 3 dishes we tried, and this dish in particular was just amazing. There were 5-6 pieces of tiger prawns which were cooked perfectly, neither chewy nor hard. The outer batter coating was also just perfect with the right amount of seasoning. The prawns were so good, they just melted in the mouth. They also served honey chilli sauce with it which was a bit too sweet but went well with the French fries which came along with the Crab cakes. Yes, we also tried the crab cakes that was one of their most recommended dishes. I was quite excited about this one, and the plate looked very much appealing with 2 pieces of crab cakes, some cocktail salad which tasted good, a decent serving of French fries which were okay and some Mayo on the side. The crab cakes, were slightly disappointing as they were too dry. They also used banana blossom to bind the crab cake mixture which I personally did not like taste wise. The outer layer was good, and the cocktail salad complemented the dish. We also tried the chicken 65, which in the Tamil version is more of a dry pakoda type preparation. It was decent, the taste was okay but the chicken was a bit chewy. The service was good, the staff was humble. The prices are okay if not a bit high. The view from the balcony is really nice, except for the humidity. I would definitely recommend the prawn Tempura instead of the crab cakes. Also, I believe they have good Biryani too.

Best rooftop dine in near Beach. The view is amazing. But we can't have food there in the day time the sun will hit directly on our head . The evening dine in will be the best option . The food was do yummy and fulfilling. But the serving time is a bit lag for the rooftop but in the mean time we can set and enjoy the view and prepare our tummy for the next menu . The service is good and good staffs .

Taste was so good. Price was reasonable. 7 of us went and paid around 3200 Rupees. Crab Claws, Grilled Chicken Steak, Squid - batter fried, Tandoori Prawns were so good. It is in 1st floor. Sea view (outdoor seating) is available for a smaller crowd. Parking was difficult as we couldn't access the road due to restrictions... so, parked it in Paid Parking... around 100 to 150 meters away from the restaurant.

On the service side, hats off to the waiters for great work. The food was just okay. Should visit once for normal north Indian food

One of the best place to hangout with groups n for date's. The roof is soo good with the beach view. Space is limited in rooftop. The food was sooo amazing and awesome. Chicken steak and crab cake is a must try.

I went to the new rooftop place which opened, as an extension to Escape In, Hook Lounge. It was so pretty! And the food was really really good. The Garlic bread, Reshmi Chicken tikka and the buffalo wings were among my favourites.

Two of us visited this spot on a weekday. We picked this spot because of these reasons: - continental food - 4+ rating on Zomato - seaview seating - Zomato said it costs ₹600 per couple Except that last one, we found everything else to be really good. It cost us about ₹1600 for the two of us. What we ordered: - virgin mojito - blue lagoon (mojito?) - prawns tempura - schezwan squid - chicken steak with pepper sauce - grilled fish with romesco sauce Ratings below out of five. The virgin mojito was good. The blue lagoon could have been less sour, less soda. (4 & 3.5) The prawns tempura was brilliant. Seriously, the batter was perfect in composition and in fried state. The squid was decent, but nothing to get too excited about. (6 & 4) The chicken was nice, and the fish was slightly overcooked. (4.5 & 4) Service was good, too. We sat by a table overlooking the beach, and it was scenic and peaceful. Plenty of people go out into the balcony for pictures; definitely something to do, if you’re into that sort of thing.

The best multi cuisine restaurant in Pondicherry. The food is really good and top of that you can have it with the sea view.. Located in White Town, this rooftop bistro serves one of the best grilled chicken steak and pizzas. Quattro Stagioni is a must along with Tandoori Prawns and Enchiladas. Its really affordable and the service is excellent. The menu is quite impressive. We had a tummy full meal 😋. The restaurant's location is very nice, it is located just next to the beach and the view is amazing. The ambience is nice and quiet. The food is good. We had the chicken nuggets and it was quite regular honestly, just like the ready made ones. We also had the tandoori prawns in starters and it was good. We had the special escape in biryani in the main course and it was okayish honestly, it was like a pulau mixed with sea food and chicken, quite confusing. You should give it a try though, if you like experimenting with food since it's something different. The service was good

The place looks good. Loud music is always blasting and destroys the ambience of the sea. The staff don't take requests to reduce the volume either. Fish is dry. The other food and sauces are good.

Avoid Pepper Squid, it's ridiculously spicy and will give you a heart burn. Prawn starters and buffalo chicken wings are a must to try here. Pizza and Pinnacolada was superb. You'll get beach view.

Very tasty food. Ambiance is very nice. You will be getting direct sea view from the restaurant. With that kind of view and great food makes the overall ambiance great. We tried below items... 1. Mixed fried rice 2. Chilli Prawn semi Gravy Both the items were very tasty. Second one is must try for Prawn lovers. Quantity is very good. Appetite is not equal for everyone but try in small quantity if requires order more. They accepts card payment. Drinks are also available. Go and njy the food. Very nice. 😀

It is not everyday when you come across a restaurant that can cook both Indian and Continental dishes deliciously well. This place is certainly an exception to that rule. We ordered Patiyala Chicken, Garlic Naan and Crab Cake with Cocktail Sauce. All the dishes were 'finger-licking' good. Though you can see the sea from nearly all the tables, the best views are reserved for the 3 tables in the open balcony. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day when we visited the place, so we had to be contented by looking at the sea in between people's heads from a table in the AC room.

Decent place and almost always crowded on weekends. We tried Vegetarian items cream mushroom soup, Mushroom starter and Gobi fried rice. Quantity is good enough and always sufficient for 2 people. You need to wait between soup , starter and main course for a minimum of 15 minutes to get your food on Table.

Food is overpriced for their quality and quantity....outdoor seating was good but only for 3 tables and the staff was not friendly....this place is okay to have a quick meal...but we can find other good restaurants nearby...hope they increase their standards..
