Good ambience. Nice shade of trees all around, great place to grab some fresh air inside pondicherry town. No entry fee. Aayimandapam also situated inside this park. We had a great time here. Kids will enjoy this place as many rides present for them to play.

For outsider's it's a must go park with large space, various plants and trees , then swings & slides for the kids. There is plenty of place to walk.. there is small built hill where kids can climb.. There is a separate place with all gym equipment which are in good condition.. there is also a place allotted for feeding mothers.. Drinking water is available.. lot of beautiful carvings and painting are there which will draw your attention… plenty of cement chairs are available if u wish to relax there… Since there are lot of trees.. even in the afternoon it’s breezy and you can find many tree shades to sit under… It’s maintained well except for few people who pees in some area which is disgusting….

Poorly maintained park without any basic amenities like drinking water and toilet. Children play area is almost damaged without maintenance and plants are almost dried because of poor watering. The park is well organised and maintained by the local government. Though it has lost its charm due to weather conditions. Can be restored by the government.

This place is really clean and calm. You can see lots of squirrel. Early in the morning or before 8 is the best time to visit. Lot of people visit here for their morning walking. Kids will love this place there are lots of play areas for them. It is surrounded with full of trees so you can easily beat the sun.

Quite a beautiful & well kept where you can spend your time chit chatting with your loved ones or you could even sit peacefully and enjoy yourself. We visited the park early morning on our way to catch our breakfast & it was quite soothening. The stillness, birds chirping, no hubub just peace & people engaging in their routine errands & exercising🫰🏻

Such a beautiful park which is built for the health and fitness of the residents. The vibe is very positive. Though it is very old, it still looks as good as new. Green foliage, squirrels running about, children playing, elders exercising and the cool fresh air of the sea, make it a must go place to visit.

Wonderful experience, I recommend everyone who loves water sports and 🏖️⛱️ beaches to pay a visit to this location which is around 20-25 minutes away.. I had visited the park with my wife and daughter although with the baby there are very few things that can be done . But you can enjoy the scenery and the beach area which is very good .. Right now parking is free of cost and entry tickets are 70 per person. Rest other sports have their own charges .. but the restaurant inside PR ices are very high and food taste is normal ..

Pros: It is really good with lots of equipments both for kids and adults Easy to make a full day plan as visiting the beach and the park as they are together. It's also has a small gym space for adults. The middle building is an excellent architecture and is the emblem of Puducherry. Cons: It is a outgrown garden and bushery not maintained. The equipments mostly are one legged or one handed because other side is broken. There are no proper restrooms, no food courts and no drinking water. Note: Place should be well-maintained and highly hygienic. Still a good place to go with your family. 👍

Core of this park is Aye mandabam. The origin of aye monument started in 16th century. Started for a good cause and very impressive to know about the history. Very good location for walking, exercising, kids but during rainy days there is no place to get cover.. Post 6pm lights settings give pleasent view of the park, U would hear and feel the nature because of 1000s of birds. Nursing room, water tap, Kids play section, equipments for adults physical exercise equipments available. This park has 4 entrance but only 2 of them opened. Park opened up to 7pm. Good for photoshoot. Couple, kids specially. Kids play equipments were damaged so adult supervision may required.
