They are only doing takeout at this time. No dine in. We got their famous fried chicken, the pork lo mein and shrimp chopsuey with fried rice. Everything was just ok. I honestly did not see the wowness of the fried chicken. Yes, the crust was very good, but the chicken itself was dry. The fries that came with it were decent. The Chinese portion of the food was ok. The lo mein felt a little dry and bland and actually tasted better the next day. The chop suey was surprisingly good. Went well with the friend rice and by itself. All in all, just ok. I may be the rarity, but I really didn't see why everyone raves about the fried chicken here.

The food was great! The Mexican male waiter was short on patience and even made a snide remark! Because we asked a question about the menu! Thought about not tipping him, but it's christmas! They all need to get happier down there! Not the greatest atmosphere!!

Terrible.. I was expecting alot more from all the hype around the chicken. Sadly all I can say is the poor chickens died for no reason. 1. Breading was falling off chicken and it was to dry from being over cooked and or burnt 2. The breading had no spice to taste So yeah them birds died for no dang reason.

I miss the old Black Swan.before covid! Used to eat here since I was a kid. Reminds of the days going with my grandma. Now can't dine in and the chicken meal pretty sure is Cornish hen. Absolutely small servings. Miss the macaroni soup, fried chicken and chicken fried rice. So sad!! Another staple down the drain.

We've been getting the same order for about 5 yrs now. The combo fried rice seems to be getting 1 shrimp less and less meat every year but the price keeps going up. I don't know if it's because we order with no onion that we get mainly rice but i thought by now they'd add some pea pods, diced carrots,, water chestnuts, or something to their mix so it wasn't just rice but alas, they haven't. It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant in town that doesn't go overboard on garlic and onions so we're forced to stay with them and just "doctor" it up ourselves. Also, $5.00 for 2 egg rolls??? Are you kidding me?!?! SMH!

Just picked up lunch to go. The food was all very good. We had the General Tso's chicken and the Szechuan Beef lunch plates. Both very satisfied. The side of dumplings (pot stickers) was soooo good. The garlic soy dip made it super special. We shall return soon.

Been hankerin' to try this cafe for years and I finally did. This is an odd menu, featuring traditional American fried chicken meals on the one hand, and traditional Chinese meals on the other. I placed one order for fried chicken and a second order for Mongolian shrimp. Orders were ready in less than 10 minutes, not the 15 minutes I was told, and the fried chicken was better than that of the OTHER best fried chicken place in Colorado place, the exquisite Juniper Valley Ranch off HWY 115. Also, the Mongolian shrimp was to die for. Service was prompt and friendly; prices were reasonable. I will be going back here often.

This was a wonderful date night! Food was amazing, you can tell they take pride in the dishes being sent out. I especially liked the server explaining a little history about the restaurant, it made me really appreciate the owner's passion for good food and being involved with his daughters. (One of the daughters was working that evening.) Having daughters myself and loving food, I have an A+ for that!

First visit for dinner this evening. My wife and I enjoyed good service in this simple, unpretentious atmosphere. We both enjoyed the 5 piece fried chicken dinner; enough food that we took a couple pieces of chicken home to enjoy later. Chicken was fresh and well prepared; fried much like I remember from my Mom’s home cooking (not greasy or spicy). We’ll be back!

I have ordered one Vegetarian fried rice to take. This my first time order. I told the lady to make it spicy. Quantity is good. But the fried rice is very bland. No taste,Never going back there again.

This place is a staple. My parents brought me when I've was a little girl for the best fried chicken in town. I'm glad I can bring my kids here now too

Best fried chicken ever. I’ve been going to Black Swan for fried chicken for over 20 years and it’s always amazing. I’ve tried fried chicken at many places and none can come close. So if you want to try the best fried chicken ever, hurry up and order from here.

The food is great. I'm not a chicken fan from their restraunt but many people ate. Their Chinese food and chicken fried steak are wonderful. It is a takeout restaurant so atmosphere does not apply.
