Whilst spending 8 days in Puerto Aventuras we tried many of the best restaurants. There are many good options but, standing out far and above the rest, was Pelican Point. After being warmly welcomed by Guillermo, the host and owner, he brought refreshments and proceeded to explain the fresh fare and preparation. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and left us, mouths watering, wanting one of everything. We started with the delicious Caesar Salad for two, made tableside. Next we had two of the three fresh catch entrees, Wahoo and Grouper. These dishes, prepared as recommended by Guillermo, were exceptional. There were also excellent shellfish and meat / poultry choices on his extensive menu. Excellent bar with a great wine and cocktail selection. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Great ambience with marina views. Highly recommend Pelican Point as one of your finest dinner choices in PA!

Great place. Very cozy and classy at the same time. Beautiful music. Exceptional service and food. Very nice owner and overall experience. Wide selection of daily catch and raw seafood.

I only walked here using the public footpath (a bit overgrown in places) approaching from the west. There are signs stating this is private but apparently this only applies to the furniture. Beautiful spot. I walked on the big rocks all the way to the point. Not much to do here if you're not staying as a guest but the beach is beautiful and well maintained.

Everything is wonderful. Guermo, the owner takes pride in his menu and each ingredient. He is extremely knowledgeable and inviting. The care and expertise that he portrays should be envied be every restaurateur.

I don't leave bad reviews as I work in the industry, but when you get robbed on the value others need to know. Two cups of soup, a Caesar salad, one kids meal, one iced tea, two cokes, one water $73.00 USD!!! I felt violated. Server stood around waiting for a tip after owner told me to leave in cash not credit. The best part was the Caesar Salad. But if you looking for value and taste in Puerto Aventuras see where the locals are eating while walking around. Pricing on menu outside doesn't match interior menu. Owner seemed nice, but the place was empty. Pricing himself out isn't going to help. Avoid lobster bisque, it was like eating straight licorice and fennel. AGAIN STAY AWAY UNLESS THEY CHANGE THERE WAYS!

One of the worst dining experiences. We sat down to have a gentleman (owner?) give us a 5 min speech about the menu. He spoke at us not to us and wasn’t really engaged. He also spoke so fast we hardly got the names of the fish etc. He was a bit condescending. We ordered catch of the day done in a specific style he said had a wee bit of Parmesan on top. When we received it the dish was covered in mozzarella cheese and I mean covered. We returned it only to be given the same piece of fish (it was super dry) in a garlic butter sauce. We ordered the coconut shrimp as it’s a house specialty and it was way too sweet. The Caesar salad was delicious and I wish all dishes came with that much care and flavour. Very expensive for what was served and level of service sadly.

We love this restaurant. Very classy and great food. We try to visit every time we are in PA. Love enjoying dinner on their outdoor deck by the marina.
