For $40 dollars a room it seemed like a grotesque place, the facilities are old and neglected. They offer air conditioning and they have a window from which I had to remove the filter to make it cool because it was clogged with dirt. Good location to arrive on time to take the ferry. There is no restaurant so you can't go hoping to eat something.

Maybe because of the price it fits certain limitations regarding rooms

Everything is good, although the rooms are a little expensive but it is worth it. It is a good hotel. I recommend it.

This is a really nice hotel with a friendly English speaking owner and very lovely reception staff. The rooms are nicely decorated with wooden floors and nice curtains! Air conditioning was very good, but almost a bit too strong!!! We paid 750 for one double bed. There were some nice places to eat in the area, but the biggest draw was the fact it's super close to the boat to/from Belize!!

Nice hotel, well placed.

We did not actually stay here but came for advice about the boat to Belize. The owner was very friendly and spoke English. He explained the boat times, costs and where to go for immigration which was helpful as we struggled to find any up to date information online, via phone and from our own hotel.

Friendly staff/owner and nice rooms with aircon and new TVs.
