Great seafood, service, location & prices. Their coconut lemonade is out of this world, I've never tasted anything like it. The only thing I would recommend is to clean the beach & put more flowers and plants.

This is place has really good food and service. It was very clean and the beach are was great. We had a great time and are for sure coming back.

So it would seem that they meant to call this place “the Marina” but called it “the marine” due to a poor translation into English... Despite that seemingly massive mistake, the attention to detail at this restaurant is otherwise fairly good for local standards. It is a pretty typical marina restaurant like you would find in many other places. The food, the ambience, location, service all are pretty average. The difference here is the clientele, and that the prices are extremely high for Honduras. One may take note of the small marina with relatively standard boats, and not realize the drastically different dynamic in this country. Here, only the super wealthy have both stopped at a marina. Even though the boats and the location are not particularly impressive this location caters to the highest class of elitists in the country. I personally don’t like the elitist attitude, especially that of those who pride themselves on their materialistic ways, and their possessions, when surrounded by poverty. That being said, I probably won’t do much eating here specifically, because the type of clientele and the prevailing attitude. Other than the generally machista ambiance, my only other real complaint is that the food is not worth what they are charging for it. The view from the beach front tables however is beautiful! As long as there’s not too much trash floating by at the time you happen to be there…

I had a great time. I loved the place, the beach and the food, plus the allowed pets!

Food was fantastic, great staff but was so dirty and enormous quantity of Flys that was impossible to eat. We couldn't finish it. We stand at the bar waiting for the bill and a cloud of Flys was over everything. They don't have fly tramps or anything, we were taking turns some scare the Flys meantime others eat. Disgusting.

The stuff is very friendly and kind! The food is amazing! Also the beach is nice it free of charge and clean as well you have table service over there. I just can recommend Bien hecho team marine 👍

Excellent attention and delicious food!

Food was not that great. But Marinera soup was really good. Beers were really cold! The place was covid-19 regulated.

Awesome seafood, cold beers, friendly staff and a great view of the ocean... What else could you ask for? The Marine is located next to Acantilados Marina and its a perfect place to have a Sopa de Caracol after a long day of fishing!

Best place in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. If you are ever in Puerto Cortés or San Pedro Sula go visit The Marine. You will love the setting, the food, and the service. All which are truly exceptional. I urge you readers to try it. My rating, along with the 5 stars, is a MUST GO!
