Hotel outdated, bad maintenance, poor food and beverage services. Nice size of bedrooms, clean, good outdoor facilities (though poorly maintained), game room has metegol and ping pong with no balls. Mediocre service. Good location. Max, a 3 star hotel. At best.

Outdated, needs a make over all through. Everything is old. No internet connection, very little air conditioning Not a 5-star hotel, may be just a 2-star Prices of food, drinks and taxis way too high. Choose another hotel The staff is kind, though

The only "5 Star" this hotel has is its size. The rest is just OK. Wifi is AWFUL. Intermittent and weak. On top of that the mobile phone networks coverage are poor, specially MOVISTAR. Some towels with stains, bathroom with sections badly assembled. Room size is good and fridge has good cooling power. Conditioned pool and SPA cancelled due to pandemics. Very friendly staff.

Very good location! Service and Amenities are great! Buffet Breakfast is good! Common areas like restaurants, spa, swimming pool, game room, tennis court are decent. Hall way and in room carpets need replacement. Service is very friendly.

Great staff. Good location. Wifi ONLY in Lobby. A little dated, old school door locks, 2 handle faucets, etc. No hot water on Bidet (in my room). Great food, decent dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet better than most. Great pool area and spa.

Pretty decent place to stay. Our window Was slightly open and we were unable to get it closed. The window had Burger bars on it. The place is definitely out dated, but probably pretty standard for the middle of the jungle. The rooms are clean and the people are friendly, so that's good. The hotel is also pretty close to Iguazu Falls. I didn't have breakfast here bit I heard it wasn't very good. Overall, not bad.

Deplorable service. Low class . Pretends to be 5 stars and it is 1 star and a half service quality and facility have seen better times in the pass . Better hotels in the area . Advice- DO NOT GO THERE . We had roaches in the room . No phone etc . Forget this place .

Title: A Truly Disappointing Experience Review: I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was an absolute disappointment. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had made a terrible mistake. Let's start with the food. Calling it "cuisine" would be an insult to school cafeterias. The meals were bland, unappetizing, and lacking any sort of imagination or flavor. It was as if they simply reheated frozen dinners and served them with a side of disappointment. I wouldn't wish these meals upon my worst enemy. Moreover, the quality of sleep at this hotel was non-existent. The noise levels were intolerable, making it nearly impossible to get any rest. The walls seemed to have the thickness of tissue paper, allowing every sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms to invade my personal space. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a construction site. Now let's talk about the towels. I'm pretty sure I saw some relics from the last century in the linen closet. The towels were worn-out, frayed, and some were even ripped. It felt like they were salvaged from a thrift store rather than being freshly laundered for guest use. I'd recommend bringing your own towels if you have any intention of drying off properly. And let's not forget about the carpets. They were filthy throughout the entire hotel. Stains, dirt, and who knows what else seemed to be a permanent feature of every inch of carpeting. I wouldn't dare walk around barefoot in fear of what might latch onto my feet. All in all, this hotel left a lasting impression, and not in a good way. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to reconsider their options. Save yourself the disappointment, the lackluster meals, the sleepless nights, the torn towels, and the dirty carpets. There are far better accommodations available elsewhere.

I give 2 stars because of the staff and the attempt of maintenance they're doing. It must have been a 5 stars hotel when they built it, and the pictures you'll see on the website make you think it's a CLEAN, beautiful hotel. IT IS NOT. I'm gonna start with the first thing I saw: a giant leak in the corridor (cf pictures of the white wall), there were not even a bucket from stopping the water to infiltrate the carpet, which was wet all around and started to mold (picture). Then we entered our room which was 'clean' but everything was old: the carpet, the sheets, even the bathtub had tartar stains and had been used for 20 years obviously, the towels had some holes because of how wear-off they were... We were so disappointed that we contacted our travel agency that managed to upgrade us to a better room and where there were no leak on the way, but still the carpet of the room is molded and there are lizards running on the wall (my fav touch personnaly). The others photos you see on the black wall are on the last day: another leak, left completely unattended: the wall is swollen with water and the floor is soaked, and it is in front of the entrance to the restaurant and snack bar. It could be a really beautiful place if the owner would put the money to renovate the place. Meanwhile, don't go there. There are better hotels in the city that don't pretend to be 5 stars but are clean and moderns.

To be honest, let me tell you our experience, for those coming from out of Argentina this is NOT a 5 star hotel. I rated it 2 stars, and this is why. Our room that was given to us with a broken fridge door and several other things that wasn’t working. The room was smelly and old. The air conditioning stop working one night and Port Iguazu is a hot and humid place, so you get the idea! The beds and mattress could need some care and maintenance. The whole Hotel needed some care, very old. The staff were friendly, I think this hotel had its glory moments in the past, and remained there in the past. For many South American people the hotel os pretty good for what I noticed, but for those coming from more modern countries like USA it is not considered to be 5 starts hotel. The food was alright, I have tried fresher food in other places. But it has a good variety of options.

Omg I felt like I was transported back to the 70s! In desperate need of a renovation! Kid you not, the corridors felt like I was in Stephen King’s novel ‘The Shining’! 😆😆 Basically everything was old! The carpets, decor, bathroom (some tiles were broken or missing), it all looked run down and tattered. To be honest it was in a great location (20mins from Iguazú National Park) so if they ever decide to refurbish it would be great!

To be honest, the EXE Hotel Catarstas is ideal inside in beautiful. Services and people are excellent and friendly. Breakfast has everything necessary. My only negative is maintainance and hygene in the bathroom... I found three roaches crawling around in the morning; the hot water handle in the shower fell off in my hand and there needs to be one towel to step out of the shower onto. Everything else is marvellous. 👍
